I was disappointed to find that this sticker sheet is not truly clear. It has a mat finish that is like looking through frosted glass.

Also, the backing paper that is on the back of this product, causes lines to remain on your sheet once you''ve printed. When you apply the sticker to your item, you can still see the lines on the product you''ve applied it to, even after smoothing it out as best you can.

I use these stickers with a color HP All-in-One DeskJet 2110, which is a very cheap printer. I bought the stickers for making my own logo mugs. I wanted something that would look good and not easily peel off. These stickers work well for that.

The colors look great on these stickers. The labels are definitely transparent so in order to use them on dark colored mugs, I did a search for Avery templates. What I found was a black background template on the Avery website. I used that for all of my dark mugs and the images look great. There is no bleed through because the colored ink is ON TOP OF the black background (and no, I don''t know how this works, but it does). I didn''t see any other colored backgrounds, but I''m betting these templates can be made by making an entire Word doc background that color and then pasting your image on top of it. That''s just a theory, though, since I''m not sure how the black Avery background was created.

Another thing I like is how the edges of the stickers nearly disappear on my mugs. You almost can''t see where the edges are. And that makes them harder to remove. I would not, however, trust these stickers in a dishwasher or even with hard hand washing. In other words, I plan to be careful with them as far as moisture is concerned.

My logos have gold, blue, gray, purple, and even white in them. If I have a complaint, it''s that the ink runs until you let it set for a while on this particular paper. The Epson sticker paper seems to dry much faster or maybe not run at all. Just don''t touch the ink right away and it should be fine.

But I am very pleased with these stickers over all.

I ordered this product because it was advertised as clear sticker sheets and they were going to be used on baby shower invitations. These sheets are anything but sticky! After 1 day of being put onto cardstock the stickers are coming off the paper! Such a disappointment and waste of money!

I guess it''s as good as you''ll get for inkjet clear paper, but it''s still not good enough.

The paper has a rough surface to get the ink to stick, which means the transparent part doesn''t look very transparent.

Also inkjet ink will smear off it even by touching with oily fingers.

The only way to get high quality clear sticker sheets is to print laser onto Papilio sticker paper. I don''t think anyone on amazon sells it though.

We have a Land of Nod kids play table that takes a roll of paper for art projects at the end of the table. This fits perfectly. The paper is good quality and does not go to schreds easily if a marker is on a spot for too long, it is longer than most kids rolls and is better money for the amount of paper.

I bought this paper roll in search of a paper roll that was compatible with the Land of Nod Activity Table, whose paper rolls were out of stock and nine dollars with shipping for a third less paper. Most of other rolls, like the one from Melissa and Doug, is way to thin so my daughter won''t color on the table I suppose because the paper is too far from the edges.

I am so happy I found this roll. It is perfect. Just the right width. The fact that it is longer and thereby a bigger roll did not affect the fit in any way. Good quality paper, too.

I use this HP Inkjet paper on my Epson 9900. I needed something that was lightweight but could still hold color without bleeding all over the place; this product filled these need perfectly. I use it primarily to print architectural & engineering line-drawings that require color lines. It''s perfect for this because it is weight-wise similar to the 20# bond I use for B/W line drawings, but every line is crisp and clear. Its also very economical compared to some other wide-format media. I also use it for short-term ''throw-away'' banners, such as "Happy 40th Birthday Bob", but it is not limited to just lettering, sometimes I put a photo on it and for the purposes of having the banner for a specific indoor event, the image looks just fine. Since this paper is not very expensive, it is perfect for one-use occasions, as you don''t have to throw down a ton of money on a custom banner that you will only use for a few hours. My wife needed a paper tray for a Canon photo printer we bought on E-Bay, so we came to Amazon to find it (since we trust Amazon above any other online store).

She looked at the picture and saw that it was the one that we needed, but it turns out that the picture shows a postcard-sized tray, when the listing was actually for the card sized tray. I''ve been teaching piano for 20 years and I never knew this paper existed. I was introduced to this by a professional organizer, and it has made my life so much easier. I''ve used other brands of carbonless paper and they all have a tendency for the pages to stick together. I decided to try the Xerox brand, despite it being twice the amount of previous brands used, because it''s known as a "quality" brand. Bad mistake! It takes me so long to print my invoices because I have to print one page at a time and check the printer to make sure the pages didn''t stick. My other brands would stick occasionally, but this happens every time with this brand. I''ve wasted so much paper and ink due to having to re-print. It''s just ridiculously annoying and I hate that I bought the entire carton rather than just trying one ream. I will never use Xerox products again!

I just got this today thanks prime, however, I was expecting lighter colors like the picture suggests, however they are bright adn dark colors. the purple is not the lilac color you see in the picture it is a true purple, the red is not the brick red you see in the picture it is a true red so is the blue. Invent It! tends to take an idea already in the marketplace and put a slightly more "home hobby" twist to it. What Invent It! does here is change the standard configuration of the sheets. Other manufacturers include three, letter-sized sheets with no scoring of any kind. Invent It! gives you one full sheet, one sheet with precut rectangles, and one sheet with precut circles.

While I admit that some hobbyists may like the convenience of pre-scored sheets, I personally found it annoyingly limiting to be forced into these shapes. I can''t, therefore, see more than a novelty use for this pack. It would make sense if Invent It! created a pack of each kind of sheet, because that would give consumers the opportunity to buy sheets for particular projects. This way, however, you have to spend a prohibitive amount of money to get enough sheets to make even a modest run of, say, magnetic business cards.

As for their general quality, Invent It! gives us slightly less powerful magnetics, and a material that is irrevocably stained by water. They are best on kitchen doors, or other areas of highly concentrated, magnetically conducive metal. For example, they hardly stick at all to stainless steel, and they also seem to have their functionality compromised by refrigerated or moist areas. Indeed moisture does seem to discolor the base color of the sheets, permanently changing that color from white to a very dull pearl. Fortunately, the material is such that the design itself will not bleed when wet, as is the case when inkjets print on paper.

I must point out that none of the three manufacturers I tested performed much better under what might be considered "extreme" conditions. None stuck to stainless to any great degree, and all discolored under moisture--though others did so less permanently. Invent It! did actually lose some magnetivity when exposed to water after adherence, actually curling slightly under the strain. Other manufacturers, notably Xerox, seemed to have slightly improved magnetics overall, sticking better to more types of metallic surfaces. None seemed eager to be used on already-moist surfaces, but Xerox in particular seemed to withstand moisture better if, for instance, condensation appeared after sticking the magnet to the surface.

In sum, then, I think Invent It! would be perfectly fine for making exterior refrigerator or interior car magnets, but this particular collection of shapes will be limiting to most creative minds. Businesses looking to use this product for routine labeling of work areas will be best advised to look for other manufacturers, or even to consider transparent decals.

Samsung ML-1450/XAA Laser Printer

Here is some crucial information for anyone contemplating paying for this machine:

1) owner''s manual and Samsung site are horrible so research has to be done to figure out some crucial specs. You have to download the manual as PDF because there is NO hardcopy manual.

2) Memory module to get is 72 pin EDO which places upgrading the memory very [inexpensive];

3) For Mac users -It does not naturally support Postscript without an additional PostScript SIMM whose part # is ML6060XAXAA and as of this time sets you back... If you are comfortable with PCL 6 emulation then maybe this expense is not necessary. IF you are going to get the PS SIMM be aware that you need to upgrade the memory to at least 16MB which is about another... The PS support is level 3.

4) Samsung is good about providing drivers so all Windows, DOS, Mac and Linux people are not left hanging.

5) Toner... The VERY necessary part # is ML-6060D6. This will get you another 6,000 pages of print. It is an integrated toner and drum set up so you are getting a nice switch out.

For the PC person this is a great printer but the MAC user needs to be very cognizant of what their trade-offs are. If you are only planning to do black and white, predominately text then this may suit but for the graphics person this is not the best at all.

I will update this the more I play with it.

The plus side:

1. Excellent value for money. The Samsung ML-1450 is the cheapest printer that you can get in its class... Cheap memory upgrade. 4MB is more than sufficient for an average person printing work. If you want to install Post-Script you need to buy at least 1x8 MB EDO RAM, 72 pin, 60 ns, SIMM (Single in Line Memory Module), non parity stick. ML-1450 has built in 4 Mb RAM and to run Post-Script you need 12 MB of RAM. I bought 1 stick of IBM Single sided 16 MB EDO RAM ...(I haven''t try the double sided RAM). If you buy a pair it will be cheaper, but ML-1450 only has 1 slot for EDO stick.

3. Huge tray capacity that can fit 550 pages of A4 size paper. Plus another 100 pages of A4 size paper that you can put on the multipurpose tray. You can also put envelope, letter size paper in this tray.

4.Great software from Samsung. You can print water mark, outlays and multiple pages on 1 paper (up until 16 pages/slides on 1 paper).

5.Easy to setup and networkable. You need to buy USB Hub to use this printer as a network printer. It is cheaper than to buy the ThruPort (Optional 10/100MB base card) from Samsung.

The negative side:

1.It doesn''t come with printed manual, Samsung only provide you with the PDF format of the Manual. With this price, I cannot blame them for trying to cut their cost.

2. Finding the right memory for the upgrade is a bit tricky because this type of memory is only used for the old Pentium computers. I suggest you try your local computer flee Market or eBay. You don''t need 2 sticks for the upgrade, however the old Pentium motherboard only accept even number of stick in order to work. You will probably have to buy 2 sticks from the seller.

3. I have never used Samsung Laser printer before, I cannot say anything about its reliability in the long run. However, Samsung Australia offers free 3 years on-site warranty for this model and the ML-1650N, which is a great bonus for me.

It took me a while to make a decision regarding replacing my old laser printer. I knew I wanted to stay away from low-end HP laser printers....I have had this printer for a week. The low price was attractive. With some of the money I saved, I purchased an extended warranty with full replacement. The print quality is comparable to other more expensive laser printers. It has more features than HP printers that are twice the price. Toner cartridges are still difficult to find. The big unknown about this printer is long-term reliability....I decided that an extended warranty is a sound option.

It was time to replace my HP Laserjet III, and after some looking around it became apparent that Samsung and Brother are more competitive than HP in the low end personal laser market. I chose the Samsung and am very pleased with the choice. The Samsung provides great output (1200 x 1200 DPI), is fast, is networkable, and you can expand the memory to do complex printing. I miss the heavy construction of the HP, but the Samsung is a good product for the money...

Got one two weeks ago for [money]. I was expecting 4MB of memory, but what a joy it was to realize that the unit came with 12MB of memory! What a cinch to install! I have not yet had any reason to reinstall any of the drivers that came with the CD. I''ve got two computers within close proximity, so have both of them hooked to the printer: one by USB cable, and one by parallel cable. I can print fine from both computers under this setup. I tried the n-up printing provided by the Samsung driver and that was pretty impressive. I print a lot of codes, so to be able to print 2 (or up to 16) pages per side really comes in handy! Printing speed from scratch is very fast and I find the "reprint" button very useful as well. With that button, you don''t need to reissue the same print request from your application; just press the button, and the machines spits out the same pages it last printed! It''s been a while since a product has wow''ed me, but this one definitely is a wow''er.

I''ve had the Brother MFC 4350 for 7 years and loved it. I finally decided to upgrade to a new Brother MFC 7225N. The printer installed very easily. The printer quality is very good and overall, I think I''m happy with the purchase. Two pet peeves:

1) The machine is much louder than the MFC 4350 when its printing. If you have home office, you probably can''t print a large document and talk on the phone at the same time because of the noise.

2) The top and the bottom of the printed pages curl up. For home use, this will probably be ok. If you are printing proposals or official business-related stuff, this may annoy you. (not as professional looking)

I wanted an all in one laser unit that was as small as possible. Although it has scanning capacities I don''t need this since I also have a full size scanner. The print and faxing capabilities are good as I have the unit connected via Ethernet to Win Vista and Mac OS 10 (latest version) computers. I used the Brother install disks for each computer. At one point I lost the network connection on the Mac and had to use the USB port. Later I lost the Vista network connection. I went back and tried setting up the network connections on both computers again and was successful. For whatever reason the Mac couldn''t see the printer at one point and then later it could. With the Win computer I just deleted the original Brother icon and Vista found it the next time. At this point I am very pleased with unit.

When this thing works it''s wonderful, but I have had some problems. First a note on troubleshooting problems. Don''t talk TOO LOUD. I had to turn the sensitivity down on mine. This unit is so sensitive that it sometimes hears too many sounds to accurately understand what you are saying. This is the opposite of what most people would instinctively do. Most people try to talk louder if they think someone can''t hear them. You may also have to mute the TV if it is too loud.

Pros(Besides the obvious):

1. It has a very strong built in magnet that allows you to put it on your refrigerator just at your speaking level, never gets lost and items stay on list until you remove them, even if you take out a battery.

Cons:

1.There are some words that it seems to refuse to recognize, no matter what you do. (i.e. I tried to add calendar to my smartshopper and no matter how many times I improved voice recognition, it would not recognize it. I even removed collander from the smartshopper so there was nothing similar. That didn''t help. It kept coming up with the most rediculous suggestions to what I had said that were not even remotely similar. I finally ended up adding wall calendar instead.)

2. Again, talk softly.

3. Sometimes mine freezes up and sticks on Record Now. I can usually break this by taking a battery out and putting it back and then it works fine again.

So when it works I love this, when it doesn''t I hate it. I have learned over the last couple of months to deal with its quirks, so I mostly love it.

This product really does work as advertised. The pre-loaded list of items is impressive. And it''s not difficult to train the device to recognize new items. One tip: Try to speak as naturally as possible. I''ve noticed that if you over-enunciate, sometimes the device gets confused. Pears sounds to it like jars, for example. I think the device tends to focus on syllables, as opposed to individual letters, so talk normally to it. When my partner taught it half-and-half, he didn''t try to say each word. He just said, "haf-n-haf," the way he normally would. Also, don''t pre-suppose that there are individual items it doesn''t know. For example, it doesn''t just recognize "cheese." It knows many kinds of cheeses. The device comes with a book that lists all of the pre-programmed words, but I''ve found few words that it doesn''t know.

Really love this thing. Saves time trying to remember all what you need to buy. I am surprised it works as well as it does. Sometimes it dosen''t compute your voice right but if you have an "east coast" accent it really helps. If your "native" to south of the Mason/Dixon line I would pay to see that! Great invention. A big help would be if they''re was a way to edit a long list, as they do tend to grow, with the ability to print out a partial list of the main items for those frequent quick stops in between payday for a few items. Just an idea that I know would help me & others like myself who find themselves with a mile long list for ''grocery/errand days'' and the need to make a shorter list without deleting the main one.

Maybe that''ll be the next, updated version. I still think it''s way over priced for most.

This is great for use with the Brother QL-570 and QL-500 label printers. People can use paypal shipping with this label paper. Paypal shipping requires you to have this kind of paper in order for your labels to print out of any brother label printer, I made the mistake of trying to use the DK-1202 Label Paper which is the same dimensions but not the same length and Paypal shipping wouldnt let me print out shipping labels without the DK-2205 Paper in my label printer.

The DK-1202 is 2-3/7" x 4,

the DK-2205 is 2-3/7" x 100'' (which is the one that your soposed to use for paypal shipping)

Dont confuse the two like I did :p as paypal shipping only lets you reprint the shipping label within 24 hours of creating it.

I am a student who regularly sells books, old movies, old video games, and other stuff via the internet and hate waiting in long lines at the post office to send a package every once in a while. With this label paper and my Brother QL-570 & QL-500 Label printers I just print out the shipping label using paypal shipping and put the package into any mailbox thus avoiding the long lines at the post office.

We use these labels as our other ''can''t-do-without'' item for the label printer

Again the set up with the cartridge on the labels themselves and the printer makes it super easy to load there is only one way it can be done so if you forget how to do it inbetween loading it is pretty obvious and so very forgiving

I love these labels, this one is in a continuous roll which means it is great for adjusting according to the type of address label needed. But as we send very large parcels at times this is actually fine for that nice wide and bright can be whacked on the front quickly and easily to the most awkward shape, and adheres well to any posting medium (paper, plastic etc)

If I was going to be picky theonly thing I would say is that it needs a gap between the backing and the label to make it easy to peel. As it is in a continuous roll you can make the label easily to any length, but sometimes you have to pick at the edges a bit to get the label off the backing a bit of a gap would make this easier.

Overall an excellent product easy to use, looks good and very adaptable.

I was really disappointed to realize that the recycled percentage was only 30%. I made my purchase using the Amazon App, and sadly that was not clear enough.

I have used this for three years on my outdoor stainless steel plant markers. Even in full sun and extreme winter conditions, it is as clear, unfaded, and un-yellowed as the day it was printed. The adhesion is also great and I am able to reposition soon after placement if need be. Pricey, but worth it!
