Epson U03ii Usb Interface Card

This card took an working Epson TM-U220B with a Parallel Printer cable connection and allowed it to be upgraded to USB cable. Installation was easy and straight forward, only one screw. Much better than replacing that unit with something that would have cost over $300. Only difficulty was finding out what part number to order, but a call to Epson finally struck gold.

HP driver software is junk you probably already know that but if you intend to use this printer in wireless mode and intend to travel with your laptop to a different network, you can count on your computer locking up. HP will guide you through a re-install, which will take you about 1 hour, each time you change networks. Your computer will be unusable until you complete this process. If you can live with that each time you change networks, this product is for you!

HP acknowledges this problem exists, that they have known about it since 2005, and that there is no fix.

I''m a new user, and I don''t want to contradict others, but so far this all-in-one is GREAT! Right from the start I''ve had no problems (knock on wood!) I bought this primarily because of the built-in wireless and copying capabilities. I already have two printers (cannon pixma ip6000D a gift and a Dell 920 came with bundle and both work fine) but don''t have those two things I wanted. I''ve been looking around and when a local stationary chain had the HP7410 on sale for 50% off I couldn''t resist! I read the bad user reviews and was re-thinking my decision. All professional reviews were 80% good and higher, so I took a chance. Right from the start everything worked great. The wireless setup to my linksys router no problem. Loading the s/w on two WinXP computers, no problem. I''ve faxed, copied, scanned, printed and all worked as advertised. I haven''t tried the photo printing and memory cards yet, but I use the Cannon for photos, so I may not. Anyway, because of the deep discount I felt I could afford it and took a two-year extended warranty (I usually don''t). I''ll be running the 7410 through it''s paces over the next few months. If I come up with anything different from this, I''ll be sure to update.

I''ve read numerous reviews about the HP 7410 and/or HP 7210...& HP 7310. The biggest complaint people have is the software only supports Windows XP. Well, I have GOOD NEWS everyone, you can get the latest updated software online at for Windows XP, Windows XP 64-Bit, Windows Vista, Windows 7 32-Bit, & Windows 7 64-Bit. All I did is downloaded the file program, stored in my Setup Files Library, then ran the program of whatever Operating System I was using. I also have a HP 7210. I use Windows XP on my ECS 600L Notebook with no problem...plus use HP Update. I use Windows 7 64-Bit on my HP DV6-2066DX Notebook, the software runs on 32-bit with no problem.

You''ll notice on that there are the following software updated files:

HP Officejet 7210: AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141 (Note: Also works with HP Officejet 6310.)

HP Officejet 7410: AIO_CDB_FSW_Win_WW_130_141 Also: rub_w01_Americas_Eur01_NB

HP PhotoSmart A646: A640_130_056

HP Photo Programs These programs I use all the time, especially if I want to change the size of a photo to eMail or Web.

HP Image Zone: HPIZE1.1.3.40.ENX

HP PhotoSmart Essentials 3.5: pse_350_enu

I hope this information solves all you problems in printing...it has for me.

Shipped as promised. Excellent condition. All cords were included. No software but did not expect any and was easy to find on the web. Unit works as indicated and the total copy count was low.

Avery Brochure/Flyer Paper for Inkjet Printers, Matte White, Letter, 100 Sheets/Box
  • Paper & Printable Media
  • Printer Paper

I have been using this matte tri-fold paper for a few years now in our business. It always worked fine, but I recently purchased the HP equivalent, and here is what I found:

SHARPNESS: The HP matte tri fold paper printed a little crisper than the Avery. Photos were just a little better, but text was significantly sharper. (I use an Epson R320)

FOLDING: With the Avery, you have to hold the paper at just the right angle and really strain to see the fold lines. You can only see them on one side, and it folds better if you print the outside of your brochure on the side with the lines.

With HP, the fold lines are easier to see. You still have to kindof tilt the paper to see the lines, but they are visible on both sides.

All in all, the HP is a slight winner over the Avery, mainly because of the sharpness of the text, and slightly easier folding. To be fair, I was happy with the Avery until I tried the HP, and if HP quit making this paper I''d have no problem going back to the Avery. Also, it could be that my printer just likes the HP paper better.

One final note: I have also tried some of the glossy trifold papers and they do not work as well. There is occasional smearing, and the paper along fold lines can sometimes peel a little.

Yes in the picture some sheets appear to just be a repeat of others, but it clearly looks like you''d get some white as well as various shades of off white, ecru, beige etc. along with the blue, green red, orange, yellow and purple. The item I got was not riverside cardstock, but Pacon cardstock and there were only about 10 colors in it. NONE of them were white or the various shades close to white. There was a yellow, two blues, a neon orange, a red, a green a purple and something somewhat magenta like. Luckily I won''t have to return it because I can give it to my kids to use for crafts, but I''m sad that it wasn''t what the picture shows and what I was expecting.

I only got 10 colors, all neon or very intense dark shades, which means that they are not at all good for using colored markers on. I guess you could used these to cut shapes out of, but these are no good for actually making your own colorful cards. All my markers (sharpies) look like black against this card stock. There are no lighter shades or anything close to white as displayed in the image. Very disappointed.

This paper makes excellent prints with great color and tonal range. It''s weight and smooth, slightly glossy surface are very similar to traditional quality silver-based photo papers. I use if for exhibition and fine art printing and buyers like the look, too. This paper is quite thick and works best in printers with manual feed. Canon PIXMA MP810 All-in-One Photo Printer (1453B002)

Canon PIXMA MP810 All-in-One Photo Printer
  • All-in-one unit offers flexible photo printing from digital cameras, DV camcorders, memory cards, and 35mm film
  • 3-inch high-definition TFT display for sharp previews of images
  • 4,608 precision nozzles create up to 9600 x 2400 color dpi
  • Print from compatible memory cards and wirelessly from compatible Bluetooth devices
  • Reprint directly from film

While I have only had this photo printer a very short time, I can already say that it is impressive.

I have never seen this good of print quality.

The 4800x4800 scanner delivered a beautiful 8x10 print from a 35mm negative with no adjustments or computer assistance. The copies were quick and faithful.

I am truly pleased to have purchased this MP810.

I did have some trouble installing the software from the driver cd. For some reason the installation would stall at various points and after 11 or 12 tries it finally installed completely. The drivers themselves work fine.

I have owned several photo printers and used Kodak dye sublimation printers. This high resolution printer simply beats all of my previous experiences.

The printer is Quiet and fast. The scanner is fast and incredibly sharp. Plus it has features that I do not even have time to talk about that are truly amazing. Too many good things to say about it.

If you have 35mm slides that you want to turn into 4x6 prints, then this is the machine for you. I just printed some 53 year old 35mm slides as 4x6 prints and was very surprised at the quality of the colors and clarity of the prints. The Fade Restoration option is great for some of those slides that need a little "extra". The fact that you don''t even need a computer to get started is a big plus. Of course, you do get a lot more versatility with the computer software, but if you just want quality prints from film, slides, cameras, etc. without the hassle of loading up software, this is great!

Con it is a bit on the bulky side, so make sure you have enough room to set it up. I have mine on a card table so that I have more room to lay out the slides I want to print.

I give it a "thumbs up".

After reading reviews at Amazon and elsewhere and seeing the product in the store, the MP810 became my choice. Now I''m the winner!!

I can''t give this printer 10 stars and I''d like to. Printed photos from my digital camera are exquisite and vivid with great definition and depth. Love the separate color cartridges as my granddaughter often wears pink. Using the maintenance ink check, after 15 full coverage 8x10 sheets, the magenta cartridge was down 1/4 and the rest were still at the full mark. I''ve reproduced my husband''s business card on card stock using a PDF format and he couldn''t be happier. The 9 pt. font is clear and sharp. Printed maps from the internet are equally clear and sharp. Printing on both sides is so practical for reports and stored records.

The scanned photos easily popped up into Photoshop CS and look great printed. 4x6 borderless are a snap and beautiful. Usually I wait 24 hrs. to place photos in an album, but I believe these are fully dry much sooner. Printed text included my 1040 and other reports in small fonts. Couldn''t be happier with the printed text (though I noted other reviewers comments to the contrary).

The film/slide scanner is the main feature for choosing this printer over the others. Last year I paid a local camera store $250 to scan 150 slides that were 60 years old. I am preparing another iPhoto book using more of the 60 year-old slides as well as old and new family photos.

Though it is a larger footprint than the HP AIO it replaced, the MP810 looks sophisticated and runs very smoothly (do unlock the scanning bed when you are setting it up). It was an easy set-up out of the box. The screen on the printer is easy to use. Our somewhat elderly digital camera will soon be replaced, but in the meantime the SmartMedia card it uses works just fine in this printer.

This is an awesome, A+ printer. Skipped the fax feature as a requirement since the old HP AIO still faxes OK as a stand alone. You will not regret owning and having fun with this beautiful, many-featured workhorse.

Want Canon PIXMA MP810 All-in-One Photo Printer (1453B002) Discount?

After doing much research, and doing a side-by-side comparison of the Canon All-in-One Printers (Pixma MP830, Pixma MP600, Pixma MP510), the Epson All-in-One Printers, and the HP All-in-One Printers, I can say with complete confidence that Canon''s Pixma line is easily the top of the grouping. The Epson and HP came no where close to the quality of the Canon''s, especially when comparing copying onto everyday use paper.

However, I purchased the MP810 sight unseen. None of the Big Boxes in my area had it available. I purchased it from Crutchfield.com and I was very happy with their service, and definitely with the speed with which they shipped. I received the printer a week before I received other items I had purchased from Amazon.com on the same order.

After having played around with it for over 3wks, I am absolutely delighted with it. The PhotoStudio program that comes with it is easy to learn, and has wonderful features. Yes, the 35mm neg scanning is slow, however, since I can preview each of the negatives before committing to a scan, I can speed up the process by not including the negatives that I have no interest in. Also, I have used other more expensive scanners for 35mm neg scanning, and the MP810 is no slouch in the quality of the scan. Well worth the wait, in fact.

My husband, who is an artist, and very, very picky, has been very impressed with the print quality. Now he says that we need a new camera! I printed a picture of textured sand taken at the beach, and you can see the grains of sand!

The only draw back I can see, is that the MP Navigator program stinks. In fact, I have removed the shortcut from my desktop so that I don''t accidentally use it....

After much research, I bought this printer about 6 weeks ago. I have a Canon Rebel XT camera and wanted a printer that would print great photos as well as scan 35mm slides and negatives. So far everything more than lives up to my expectations! I really like this printer and I''ve had a lot of experience with printers both at home and at work. I am an artist and planned to use the camera to take photos of possible subjects for paintings and print them as a reference. I also use it as a way of keeping a digital record of all my paintings. I use the printer to scan in small paintings directly, scan in old slides of my paintings, take photos of paintings in progress, and to scan in old color negatives to use as reference material. The only problem I had was figuring out how to scan in the slides and negatives and save them to my computer the printer instructions only told you how to print them. However, I looked at the software that came with the printer and immediately was able to figure out how to scan them to the computer and save the images. Because of its versatility, the printer has quickly become an indispensable tool for me as an artist. But don''t forget to buy the USB cable which you will need to hook up to your computer!

I use this product to cut felt shapes from a template. It''s the best way to get clean sharp edges without having to mark on the actual fabric. It also helps me use every bit of the felt. Kodak paper is primarily for HP printers. I have used this paper on a variety of printers including HP, Lexmark, Canon and Epson and the quality is substandard on all printers except the HP. Also tried on various models of each printer manufacturer with the same result.

Some printer companies design their printers, ink and paper to work together. When this continuity is compromised, the output quality is often substandard.

In short, HP=ok. Other=**danger**

The reality is different brand of printers likes certain brand of paper. The best result is to match the makers of the same printer and paper together. I used canon, epson, HP, and gneranic brand of paper. I find epson paper to be the most compatible photo paper overall, it prints well on Epson and Canon printers. Canon paper are good too and they print very well on their Canon printers. I used HP photo paper on Epson and Canon and the ink doesn''t dry/catch that well on either, it prints ok on its own HP.

This Kodak works fine on my old Epson printer, and I have bought quite a few pack. Now that I am exclusive Canon printers (i950) this Kodak Photo paper is as bad as most generic paper out there. At least it dry, but the picture is not sharp. Generic papers are the worst for photo inkjet, one office brand didn''t even dry and bubble. I am not buying this paper again, I actually have a batch of Picture Paper from the 2002, they might have gotten better, but I doubt it.

Safco Wave Under Desk Printer StandThis is a nice printer stand. I wanted one that could be rolled under my desk and this works perfectly. However, it seems a little overpriced and I never could figure out how to "snap" it together. So far, though, it hasn''t fallen apart so maybe that part of the instructions was unnecessary.

I am very happy with this stand. It is the right size for under my desk and for my HP all-in-one photo printer. It has wheels that work smoothly on my hardwood floor and rug. It''s got that shelf area for easy storage of my printing supplies. It only gave it 4 stars because I had a little hiccup when trying to assemble. Not that it is difficult but the parts could have been better aligned since I had to really struggle with one aspect of it and almost sent it back. It comes with the standard set of visual "greek/IKEA" instructions which one has to interpret too but that seems to be what you get for everything these days.

Overall I''m happy with this. It was 1" too tall for my huge color laser printer, but serves well for other verticle files, etc. and still fress up space on my work table. It''s fairly easy to assemble (no tools needed) and made of heavy plastic.

I should have read all the reviews more carefully. I figured I could easily put together something like this...No way. The directions are terrible. The product would not snap together. I tried for at least an hour. Talk about frustrating. Amazon should consider not carrying this product anymore, and I would return it if I did not need something now. I read a review where someone taped it together. I did that but it looks incredibly tacky and not like something I paid $42 for. I hardly ever right reviews, but I really had to write a warning of this product.

My pictures (printed on the Epson PictureMate) turned out beautifully on this paper. You truly cannot tell the difference between those printed with the Epson paper and ones you would have professionally developed, in all honesty, I prefer the ones I print myself because I can make any changes with cropping and/or colorization in Print Shop and then print in sepia tone or B+W and they come out looking very profesional.

I love the matte finish. I bought this for my printer because my printer book told me it would work. It works great. PAL Dash and Snap users should read the manual and buy the proper supplies.

I agree that you will need more paper before you use all the ink after several cycles. I think that is a good thing.

The 6 inks of the old picturemates are far superior than the improved in Pal, Dash or Snap. I do not understand why Epson changed to a lesser quality.

Sorry about the earlier review. I received this product and it is the same size as the 75, since the black 74XL is twice as big as the 74 I assumed they had sent me as a mislabeled 75 (not an XL that I ordered). After searching on the internet I found out that the 75 and 75XL are the same size. So this appears to be a genuine 75XL, and it works great. My only recommendation would be to put in a note explaining this to avoid confusion.

I''ve owned this printer for 4 months now and it''s broken down twice. The first time when the fuser broke down Xerox provided excellent service and talked me into purchasing the extended warrantee. Now the imaging unit is malfunctioning when it''s only 1/2 used up, and it is impossible to get a new one anywhere, under warrantee or not, as they are backordered from the manufacturer until mid January. So I''m stuck with pink dots all up and down the side of every page I print until then. This is ridiculous with an expensive machine like this not to be able to obtain a basic consumable part for months. When it''s working this printer does produce nice quality, but it''s a pain because every time you want to change to a different paper type or size you have to push buttons on the panel on the printer as well as selecting your choices in the driver. Also the duplexer does not work out of Photoshop, which is what I do all my printing out of. If I had this to do over again I''d go with an HP instead my old HP color laser which cost 1/4 of what this thing did is much more reliable.

I support two Phaser 6250s, networked, in use by 75 users. I''ve amazingly never really had a problem with either of them.

With all the advances in computers, graphics, software, and hardware... why can''t anyone make a printer that works, is easy to use, and won''t need every part replaced after a year? And could someone please explain why EVERY printer requires it''s own type of toner? Is the 6350 really that much different than the 6250? Why can''t I just buy another reliable 6250 instead of chancing a 6350 and having to buy different toner?

My belief is that printer technology has not changed in over 20 years, the market is moved by who can create a new toner cartridge that won''t fit in anyone else''s printer.

I have nothing but bad things to say about this printer. Out of the box the color was way off...I can accept this but it is very difficult to calibrate. I am very familiar with color management but this was really tough. Instead of using an rgb or cmyk slider, they use a 64 color pallete for each color. Thus, if it is too green, you need to make the magenta slightly more reddish. It is very unintuitive.

In addition, the print quality is not great. The pictures are not sharp.

But, the worst thing is, THE PRINTER DOESN''T COLLATE! That''s right, the most basic printing function. We print 200 page pdfs and it will not collate. Customer Service says that it is a software problem so they won''t help. Not the software that opens the pdf, the software on the actual machine. They won''t service the software they install because it can still print and collating was (in his words) "a luxury"! His solution? Buy the $500 internal hard drive for the machine.

I am selling it in an online auction and getting something else.

I work in an area with a team of about 20 engineers, and our group 6250DP has been flawless for almost two years now. It''s a mixed environment of Windows and Mac OSX. We print about 5000 pages/month consisting of spot-color documentation, presentations, LOTS of vugraphs, and photographs. The average cost has been around 5 cents a page for consumables. Reliability: perfect. Installation: effortless. In fact, on my floor, there are now no less than eight of these machines, and again, no trouble. I have no idea why the other reviewers have had such difficulties. We do feed our printer only top-quality paper and Xerox transparency materials; I''m sure that helps a little in avoiding paper path troubles. The fundamental design is quite clever, especially compared with its HP competition. And here''s my final opinion: After so many years suffering with inkjets at home, I just went out and bought a 6250DP for my wife, who''s a technical illustrator. Installation with Mac OS9 and X was quick and easy, and the $600 rebate sure helped... Tip: if you visit the Xerox website and run the little flash animated printer tour, you can get another $50 rebate. Cool.

Our printer is a vintage Phaser 6250DP. I say vintage because it is out of production... out of warranty... and out of my patience. When we purchased this printer it gave us excellent service and excellent print. After about 6 months we had a fuser issue. A new fuser took care of the problem and we went along for a few more months before the jams began happening again. The first fuser that went bad had about 75% left and the second fuser had over 80% left. This time we had a technician come out and he said the fuser was bad again. This time we went directly to Xerox and explained the situation and they did send us a new fuser.

Are we there yet? No, not yet. We have been babying this printer along for almost 5 years and it has not been a pretty sight. With only 43,000 total pages printed we should be at the end of our first month of printing. At least Xerox said we should be able to do 50,000 pages a month. Not likely! Xerox has never admitted they had a problem with this model. I mean why would they? ... but from the blogs I have read it is pretty evident there are at least some "fuser issues". We have tried everything but nothing has fixed the problem. Xerox even told us they had a "fuser fix" that would take care of the problem. The fuser fix jacked up the voltage to the fuser... what, so it dies more rapidly? What we found was that after you put in a new fuser it is okay for about six months then you are back to a new fuser again. Currently our fuser is at 85% and our imagine unit is at 62%. We just put in new cartridges worth about $1,000 and they have less than 50 copies on them. The technician suggested we put the new cartridges in because sometimes low cartridges can cause jamming problems and the old cartridges were really low.

I really don''t like Xerox. They actually feel that they are justified in charging $240.00 to have a technician come out... that is for the first 30 minutes. And because we didn''t want to pay over $500.00 a year for an extended warranty contract they feel no obligation. The fact that we had a Xerox certified technician come out and work on our machine was "not the same as a Xerox technician". No, it was not... it was about $300.00 an hour less expensive.

Now, because we are really way out of warranty and they still don''t have a clue what the problem is eery page is jamming. A new fuser will probably work for six months, but I''m tired of putting money into this printer. Good by Xerox... forever!

Avery Sticker Paper (53203)

Avery Sticker Paper, 8.5 x 11 Inches, Clear, Pack of 3
  • Create personalized stickers of any size or shape on clear paper
  • Design and print stickers with names, dates, events, captions and photos
  • Vellum-like see-through stickers allow your background design to show through
  • Acid-free and lignin-free paper helps preserve memories

Avery Sticker Paper is definitely meant for scrap-booking. I purchased the three pack of 8.5" x 11" clear Avery Sticker Paper with the hopes of using it as address label paper for my wedding invitations. Simply put, it was not sticky enough. I ended up needing to scotch tape each printed label down. Granted, it was really nice to great my own sticker graphics and the CDROM of templates and backgrounds has come in handy. Overall, I give this product three stars. While it didn''t do exactly what I was looking for it to do, it came in handy and the templates were a great bonus.

I had a hard time sticking this product to paper. It peels off in just a few seconds of putting it on a piece of paper.

I like the clear label because of the special type of paper I use for fancy envelopes. The addresses are very clear and easily read.

The item description stated that this was a "clear sticker" which normally means transparent.I would change to translucent. The item you will be covering with the material will have a cloudy appearance and detail will be lost.

This paper is not actually clear. If used on a solid white surface, it is passable, but on anything from off-white and darker, you might as well just be using faded white sticker paper. As noted in other reviews, the stickiness of the paper is also poor. I was able to get it to stick, but after five minutes, it was already starting to peel up. This product is not as advertised and is a waste of money. The only positive thing I can say, is that printing from the inkjet printer was good no jamming, crisp lines, and no fading of color. But that doesn''t count for much if it isn''t actually useable as clear, sticky paper.
