HP LaserJet 13A (Q2613A) is one of two toners designed for HP LaserJet 1300-series. Although you can get a cheaper toner from 3rd party, doing so may void warranty and may even damage your printer. I can certainly understand the temptation though. The 13A is rated for 2500 pages (at 5% page coverage), which translates to higher than average printing cost.

If you want better value, I suggest HP LaserJet 13X (Q2613X). While it costs about 20% more, it prints 37.5% more (4000 pages).

This was for my husbands office. I was pretty happy with the price we paid, much better than going to the store.

One thing I always here from him is that it is frustrating that there is always ink left in cartridges. Seems like such a

waste that all the ink doesn''t get used.

I thought the toner was a counterfit. HP reviewed it and determined it was not a counterfit, just very, very old. I am returning the product and my money is being refunded.

My last HP cartridge before this purchase, gave me quality printed pages for over a year.

The print gets lighter with each page.

I have to shake it numerous times a day to get a readable printed page.

(Example) I printed two pages this morning.

The first page was excellent, the second page was OK but it has light and dark printing, like the toner is getting low..

Shaking it does help.
