Samsung CLX-3185 Color Printer

Samsung CLX-3185 Color Printer with Scanner & Copier
  • CLX-3185 Color Laser Multifunction, 17 Ppm(black), 4 Ppm(color), Up To 2,400 X 6
  • Compact, Fast and Robust Color Laser Printer to fit in any environment
  • Versatile Functionalities with Print, Copy and Scanning Features
  • Hprint Screen button allows you to print quickly whatever is on your screen

This is a multifunction printer but be aware it only scans, copies, and prints. This model has no fax or wireless capability. That was a good trade-off for me. The printer is nicely built and has easy to access cartridges. The prices for the cartridges seems pretty good for the rated output so this seems like a good value for the occasional color print user. Unlike an inkjet printer the color laser doesn''t mind going a long time without use. Black and white text printing is outstanding. Color printing is good and is of consumer grade. To save energy, and this printer is 850 watts when warmed up, there are built-in energy saving features like auto stand-by after 15 minutes. I leave it off and turn it on when needed. There is a about a 45 second warm up period. B/W printing is fast after the first print, color is slower but meets my needs.

Color copying and scanning work well with good quality output. It is really nice to have color copying at a such an affordable price. I installed on an iMac running OSX 10.7 Lion. After installing the Samsung software the Mac''s Software Update found newer software. There is a built-in Utility app accessible through the Mac System Preferences>Fax and Print pref pane. Scanning works through Apple''s scanning software.

Its compact size makes it versatile for smaller spaces. This has been the printer I have been waiting for. The ability to print and copy in color, while also producing high quality B/W printing, and scanning too for less than $200 is a great addition to my home office.

Things I don''t like: The software for Macs in the Samsung online support page is poorly marked and has little documentation to help decipher the options. Since there is no wireless or fax you really just need to install the latest driver, then let Software Update do the rest. It is slow but all color laser printers are slow to get started. Power consumption is high so you can save by printing in batches and powering off when not using the computer. The paper tray is a little tricky to remove and load, and it does not hold a large amount of paper.

Things I like: Nice compact design, clearly marked buttons and a LCD status screen. Great features and output for the money. Easy to access and change cartridges. Absolutely quiet when not in use.

***warning-not wireless capable***

***warning-not network capable***

***warning-USB cable necessary but not included***

I just got this printer. It''s a great size for what it does, it looks nice, and the first print job came out beautifully. One annoyance is that there was no USB cable included. In order to use the printer, you will need a USB cable of the kind that printers use (with the squarish connector on one end). It does say on the box that the USB cable is not included, but that was not apparent when I was ordering on line. Also, I was surprised to find out the printer is not wireless or even network capable (Samsung makes similar models that are wireless capable--look for N, W, or FW tacked onto the model number). Because it''s not networkable, you cannot plug it into your router and use it as a network printer. In order to share it on a network, you have to either share it from the computer that you plug it into, or get a wireless router that acts as a USB printer server. However, sharing from the Mac computer that it''s plugged into seems to work fine, for both printing and scanning.

Samsung''s telephone tech support is excellent. Also, software installation on the Mac was as easy as you would hope for from Apple--just plug and play and use Apple''s Image Capture application to scan. No need to install the software on the CD.

Picked this up on black Friday for under $100 shipped. Wow! I never imagined the day where I could buy a color laser printer for that kind of price. It''s fairly compact. It''s quiet and prints very well. I''m replacing my inkjet all in one and much prefer this for daily use. I like not having to worry about inks drying out, streaking on certain papers, etc. Love that I don''t have to worry about buying new cartridges all the time. Black yields 1500 pages! That''s about 2.6 cents a page. Not bad! This is a great machine that I can definitely recommend. Scanner works well. Wished I could have gotten the step up model with document feeder but for 3 times the price I could not justify it. Even for twice what I paid it''s a bargain.

Want Samsung CLX-3185 Color Printer Discount?

I don''t know where you''d find a better color laser printer/scanner/copier for the price (got it on sale for 120). If the CLX-3185 has the features you need, I think you''ll be happy with it. Note that some people with early versions of the CLX-3185 had issues with paper jams. This has since been fixed with a firmware update. Some people don''t like to have to update a brand new electronic product, but that''s relatively common these days. Anyway, I don''t think you''ll be disappointed with this printer, especially if you get it at a good price. And no more ink to dry up and/or clog the print heads like inkjet printers. That, plus a sharp color laser which includes a scanner and copier in a relatively compact size made it a good deal for me.

I wish I would have never bought this printer. I have had nothing but problems. It worked for the first couple of days, then got a paper jam. There are no pieces of paper left in there, but it continues to jam in the back. I have taken it apart and cannot find cause as to why it keeps jamming. I am using good quality paper and not overfilling the paper tray. I am very disappointed with this printer, as I have never had a problem with Samsung products in the past.

I previously bought stack of Canon Photo Plus paper, thinking it''s just as good as Photo "Pro" paper.

I was wrong. If you look at the skin tone, Plus paper is little off and it is very annoying. Caucation will have pinkish skin tone, east asian will have greenish skin tone on "Plus" paper. unlike this "Pro" paper, which is accurate just like shown on the computer monitor.

Don''t compromise on paper to save few cents. Make it worthwhile for spending Hundreds dollar on camera and printer.

After all, it''s the printed paper that gets the most exposure to friends and family.

When I first purchased my photo printer I decided to test several different brands of photo paper so I could compare the results. This was by far the best photo paper off them all. The pictures turned out crisp and clear, as if I got them professionally developed. Don''t waste your time trying other photo paper....I assure you you won''t get better results!

This paper is wonderful. Looks better or as good as Kodak real photo processing. Can''t tell the difference from real photos from ones printed on this paper on a Canon i860 printer.

Tried Kodak paper for printing and prints looked washed out... even in Best quality mode using Kodak or Canon software. Printing in normal mode, default printing, photos come out beautiful on the Canon paper using the Canon Easy Photo Print.

I have tried several other brands of paper to print pictures on from home. NONE compare to the quality photos you get with this Canon Paper. They look as good as any pictures you get professionally developed at any store. As for the shipping charges, if you view the New and Used selections, you will find you ARE able to order directly from Amazon and recieve the free shipping, Amazon is just very slighty (LESS THAN A DOLLAR) more expensive, PLUS you save on shipping.

Seems like a lot of money for printer paper, but I am an all Canon house right now a PowerShot S70 and a Pixma IP4000R. Team this paper up with those products and you get marvelous photographs. I don''t think I could distinguish them from professional prints.

I am a recent father and it has been a great thing for me to be able to pick my favourite photogaphs of my little darling and brighten up my gloomy cubicle walls with them.

Epson Stylus C88+ Color Inkjet Printer (C11C617121)

Epson Stylus C88+ Color Inkjet Printer
  • Fast black text printing--up to 23 ppm
  • BorderFree photos in popular sizes (4x6, 5x7, 8x10 and 8.5x11)
  • Up to 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi with ink droplets as small as three picoliters
  • High-capacity 120-sheet input tray
  • Convenient individual ink cartridges

I purchased this to replace an Epson C82 that worked great for several years before finally clogging beyond repair. This newer model prints borderless on all media and with great visual results. It is also a bit smaller than the previous model which is great because I actually keep it in a drawer out of sight, and just pull it out and turn it on to print. Epson improved the ink overspray by putting foam under the entire print path. Previous models had only a few spots to soak up extra ink, and borderless prints often left ink places that could soak into future prints. So this is another improvement. Over all a good printer for the price. I expect this one will also last several years.

I have always been a big Epson fan. However, I have been extremely disappointed with this printer. First of all, it burns through ink cartridges, which gets expensive. Secondly, I am constantly having to clean the nozzle heads to prevent gaps (which uses even more ink) so that the text on my documents is legible. It''s so bad I have to clean them before almost every print job, and even then I rarely get a page to print out cleanly. Also, the printer has major problems with the paper feed mostly when trying to print double-sided. After *every* page I have to push the paper feed button. Very annoying for large documents. Finally, when printing photos or anything that has a lot of ink coverage the colors are terrible. It''s been so frustrating I am thinking of forking over for a laser printer. Avoid buying this printer!

I originally purchased this printer for our phone server at work. I was hoping a newer design would install without making me reboot the system (it didn''t) . The picture quality is typical Epson ,and I''m very happy with it.

I just print an occasional color graph or chart ,and it rocks. It''s quiet ,it''s small ,and it takes readily available ink. The cartridges are the newer sepperate component type cartridge . It doesn''t like cheap copy paper ,and will jam eventually. It was easy to unjam and clear however ,i was able to slip my ape like hands down into the printer ,without having to curse ,scream or apply a band-aid.

Want Epson Stylus C88+ Color Inkjet Printer (C11C617121) Discount?

I absolutely HATE this printer.

Once again, the ink has run out. Why does this make me so mad? Because I just bought all 4 new cartridges (costing me over $35) less than 6 weeks ago and I haven''t made very many prints. I''ve printed 0 photos. All my prints are mostly B&W, and I set the printer to "economy" setting on the ink. I turn the printer off when not in use (as the manual recommends to avoid drying out the cartridges). I shake the cartridges, and they''re still half full.

But for some reason, this monster wants MORE INK.

For the amount of money I spend constantly refilling the ink, I might as well just but a brand new printer each time instead of buying new ink!

The MOST annoying thing about this printer is that it "locks up" if even one of the cartridges goes "empty". I want to print a B&W document, but it won''t let me because the Yellow cartridge is "empty". ARGH!

If you are a casual printer, this is not the machine for you.

If you plan to print alot of B&W documents, color documents, or even (gasp!) an occasional photo, this printer may cause you to become Amish.

If you want a really shiny paperweight, this printer is just what you''re looking for!

Be aware that Epson engineers its ink-jet printers to use small amounts of the color inks even when you only print in black and white. Eventually one or more of the color cartridges will run out and the printer WILL NOT WORK until you buy new cartridges even if you have never used color.

Avery To and From Mailing Labels (05280)

Avery To and From Mailing Labels, 3 x 4-Inch, Light Blue, Pack of 60
  • Mark your envelope or package clearly with both recipient address and return address
  • Permanent adhesive keeps the label securely in place
  • Light blue -Inch From-Inch field makes the label stand out
  • 3-Inch x 4-Inch size provides plenty of space for handwritten addresses

... however, company that sold them to me tried to charge me triple the postage because I ordered three of them. Their claim was that, that Amazon said they have charge that way. They tried to charge me $14.97 for $4.00 worth of labels. The items weighed 11 ounces and they spent under $4.00 for postage. After a lot of communication with amazon I was refunded $9.97.

Be careful with secondary sellers, on Amazon. When I received the email from Amazon confirming the purchase I noticed the postage charge and I immediately went to my account to cancel the order. The seller had already closed out that option by saying my order was being packaged and ready for shipment. This within 5 minutes of placing the order, and on a Sunday.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LABELS. THEY ARE GREAT 5*. BUT, THE SELLER GETS ONLY ONE* FOR THE WAY THEY TRIED TO SQUEEZE OUT MORE MONEY OUT OF ME ON THIS SALE.

HP Photosmart 7960 Printer

HP Photosmart 7960 Printer

  • Up to 21 ppm black, 16 ppm color in fast draft mode
  • Directly accepts CompactFlash, SmartMedia, Secure Digital, Multi Media, Memory Stick, xD-Picture
  • Large LCD to preview, edit, even remove red-eye
  • 2 USB ports, PC and Mac compatible; 1-year warranty

I couldn''t decide between the HP Photosmart 7760 and 7960 so I bought them both, and I printed the exact same pictures from both pictures to compare quality. I found that I liked the coloring of the 7760 in most of the color pictures. The 7960 tended to have reddish looking pictures. For example, a person''s face would look redder in the 7960 pictures. But the 7960 did have more detail in landscape type pictures. Hands down, the 7960 did the best job printing black and white (used the 59 Black and White cartridge in both printers). For me, I only print black and white photos about 10% of the time.

I did like the slightly bigger LCD screen of the 7960, but found the menus and options exactly the same as the 7760. The 7960 is longer(20.9") than the 7760, and it did not fit on my desk.

The 7960 comes with 4 ink cartridges 56 (black for documents), 57 (tri-color), 58(photo ink), and 59(black for black and white photos). While the 7760 comes with 2 ink cartridges 57 and 58. Buying the 56 and 59 is about an additional $40, which could be a consideration when buying the 7760.

In the end, I kept the 7760. I just could not justify the additional $100 for the 7960.

I received my new HP 7960 Photosmart printer 2 weeks ago. Set up is very easy and the printer is excellent at printing photos. This printer is wide (20") so make sure you have room for it. The printer comes with a large viewing screen which makes it easy to view your photographs prior to printing. One drawback: You have to change out the grey photo cartridge to the black cartridge in order to print text, but I am using this printer strictly for printing photographs anyway. The printer accepts most memory cards and also has a USB port on the front of it. I highly recommend this printer!!

Shortly after coming home from a vacation in Rome, I realized that I had some very, very nice pictures, and wanted to see those pictures on something more than just a CRT or my camera''s LCD. I didn''t really believe my HP Deskjet 840c was going to cut it (it did a passable, albeit crooked, job on printing out a previous picture). Enter the PhotoSmart 7960...

Packaging/Construction... The printer arrived well packaged. It had taken a beating during transit, and some of the styrofoam had disintegrated, but the important part was undamaged. The printer itself is not built like a tank. If you are excessively rough with it, you will probably be able to damage it. I frequently open mine in order to switch ink cartridges, since I do a fair amount of text printing, even though I have my deskjet still hooked up (I like reports and music to look crisp and black). One of the biggest complaints I see is durability, with most people saying this printer is too flimsy. If you are going to run off into the jungle, I would definitely suggest a hard case when taking this with you. Otherwise, the 99.9% of us that leave our printers at home, and just take our camera, this printer should be fine. If I notice any unwarranted wear, I will update this posting.

Print Quality... Excellent. Colours look awesome and vibrant. Level of detail is very good. Pictures from 3 and 5 megapixel cameras are indistinguishable from film, printed at 8 x 10 size. Printing music onto some thicker stock, I got razor sharp quality using the maximum-dpi (4800 x 1200). This is from memory (mine is usually pretty good): the 56 ink cartridge contains a pigment based ink, rather than dye based, which is better for printing text, giving smaller equivalent drop size (I''m not certain how they figure that, but 4-5 picoliters of pigment based ink is equivalent to 2 picoliters of dye based ink. Perhaps it doesn''t spread as much). When printing text, switching to the 56 is a good idea. The text I get from this printer looks blacker and sharper than what I get from the deskjet.

Print Speed... At high quality, this is not going to raise any eyebrows. No time trials done here, but it is fast only by geological standards. However, I figure that the few minutes invested in printing (and much longer for drying) is well worth it. Tip for those who will be using this printer for everyday text: Unless quality is a big issue, set the printer on fast draft, black and white. If you want to be a little economical, you can even lower the ink volume. There is a little reduction in quality, but print speeds are along the lines of some slower laser printers, at about 4 seconds per page.

Paper Choices... Statements about print longevity are based on using HP''s Premium Plus Photo Paper. I have used that paper, and plain copier paper in this printer. Copier paper works well, although I will be getting some better quality inkjet paper for reports. The photo paper is great, although there have been some issues that people have brought up that I will attempt to address.

Dry Time... In a nutshell, 8 x 10 matte paper takes one day to dry, 4 x 6 glossy takes one day to dry, and 8 x 10 glossy takes 7 days to dry. During this time, I set the prints on a flat surface, and just leave them be. I have not tried to see how long they really take.

Little White Lines... Inside the printer are little plastic wheels that hold the paper against the rubber rollers. I believe these are actually plastic, not metal like somebody else stated. If they are plastic, they will not break in over time. You have to look closely to find these lines. When printing with matte paper, I was unable to find them. When under a frame, these lines should not be visible.

Raised Surface on Paper... This problem also seems to be unique to glossy. With time to dry, the raised portions of the paper seem to go down. I think in general, the paper is somewhat raised to begin with. Given a couple weeks, it will return to this state after printing. If it really bothers you, get matte paper.

Matte or Glossy... This is a question that I have had for a long time, and will try now to answer for others. When you go to Kmart and have your film developed, you receive prints on 4 x 6 glossy paper. When you have your picture taken professionally, you get back 4 x 5 matte prints. I have yet to see professional glossy prints, especially on 4 x 6. Photoshop does not have that option, either, I believe. Glossy gives slightly sharper prints, and a lot of people feel that you need the glossy for the "picture look." Glossy has a bright, shiny finish, but it does not handle fingerprints very well. Matte paper looks a little duller, still sharp picture quality, though maybe not as much as glossy, and handles fingerprints much better. I do have glossy paper, and I have used it, but matte looks more professional. My suggestion is to definitely use matte for black and white prints, and let personal preference dictate for colour. Be warned, matte is harder to find, and more expensive. Tip to glossy users (and matte): Glossy paper really shows off finger prints, though whether you can see them or not, they can affect print quality. When getting the paper out of the bag and into the printer, first put a sheet of copier paper (or any cheap, plain paper) over the printable side. Then load your printer (for HP users, this means printable side down), and remove the copier paper. Any fingerprints will not wind up on the printed side of your expensive photo paper.

Printing without a computer... This is possible with the printer, though I have never tried it. In order to hook the camera itself up to the printer, you need to have an HP PhotoSmart camera. However, everybody else, just about, can pop their memory module out, and stick it in the printer. It looks like you can crop, rotate, and enlarge the pictures, and view them on the LCD. You can also print out a proof sheet, or a contact sheet, which allows you to fill in some bubbles, scan it, and the printer will then print out your selected photos. You can only choose one size for all the pictures using this method, and it seems to me to be only a way to show off, unless you have somebody who can''t view the pictures from your camera, or at the printer. This printer will recognize DPOF, if your camera supports it, allowing you to mark pictures in your camera for printing.

Ink... This printer actually has ten inks, but will only print with up to eight at a time. This is because three of the inks are black. One is the pigment black for documents, one is the black contained in the 58 cartridge, and the third is in the 59. When the 56 (pigment black) is installed, the 57 (tricolor: cyan, magenta, yellow) and 58 (photo: light cyan, light magenta, black) are used, giving you six inks. When you install the 59 (which replaces the 56, there are only three ink cartridge carriages. The 59 has a light grey, dark grey, and photo black), you get eight ink printing (the black in the 58 is not used). When printing colour prints, eight inks give you a little better results in the dark areas. When printing in black and white, you definitely want the 59 installed. Compared to the cartridges in the deskjet, these cartridges are tiny, though not quite as expensive. I figure when I bought the printer, I paid $60 for the printer, and $90 for ink (I got it on sale).

The Bottom Line... I''ve gone on long enough for these specific categories. I''ve outlined a few potential problems, though I still gave this printer 5 stars. I was aware of the problems before I bought it, and still went ahead, and have been completely satisfied. It does everything I want. If you don''t care about or don''t like black and white, get the 7760, which only uses six inks. If you print black and white on it, it will mix the inks to get grays, though it won''t be as high quality.

I really enjoy this printer, and get nothing but compliments on its print quality. I have even had people compare my Rome pictures (taken on a point and shoot camera, full auto settings) with photos taken by SLR cameras and developed in a real darkroom (as opposed to my digital one).

Hope this has helped you,

Erik

This printer replaced my Epson 750 Photo Stylus. The print quality is breathtaking. Skin tones, transitions, etc. are all flawless. The dedicated grey cartridge performs wonders. The printer is relatively quiet, fast, paper handling decent (beware multiple sheets of glossy paper in the tray) and the design and quality sturdy enough. Bounces around a bit when printing, and it''s a big gizmo to plonk on a desk.

Problem 1) installing this thing can be a bit of a nightmare. My old W2K server with a 5 port USB2 card absolutely refused to play nice with the printer. Hours and hours with tech support was a total waste of my time (and theirs). Their final suggestion to take it back to the store "because there might be an issue with the ports" was blatantly ridiculous. Finally moved to another computer (also W2K, and tested on an XP machine with no problems), and all was well.

Problem 2) $70 for a set of replacement color cartridges?!? Do the math someone on a site did just that, and found that they price this stuff higher than Chanel No. 5. Come on, HP, you''ve got us buying your "solid state" plastic, your paper, *and* your cartridges, could you at least price it all fairly? I''m getting the refill kits a.s.a.p. to see how they perform. I was really disappointed to realize that 8 color printing *does not* mean 8 individual cartridges should have read the fine print, but this does mean you''re wasting pricey color when you ditch a half-empty cartridge.

Final issue I have is paying for all the crap I don''t need. I''m never connecting a camera or a media card directly to this thing, so the plethora of ports is wasted on me. Likewise the little 2" screen cute for info on progress etc. but total overkill. I''d much rather have saved that money on a no-frills version or spent it on more ink.

All the same, I''m satisfied with the printer the drivers work great on XP and 2000, transfer is fast, even via USB1, and again, the print quality is excellent.

I''ve used this printer for a ton of photos taken at 2288*1520 and it has done a great job on all from 4*6 to 8*10.The 4*6 prints from this printer are impossible to tell apart from the 4*6 prints from my photo dedicated dye sublimation printer. With many more print size options compared to more expensive dye subs this would be a great choice instead. The card reader is also a great benefit works very nicely and is simple to use. It''s only real bothersome side is that you must change the gray scale print catridge for black when printing text and back for photos.I also use an epson 960 that does an absultely equal job at photos that doesn''t require any cartridge changes but with the epson you give up the card reader convenience.

What else can be said? Watermarked... I guess that''s cool. It''s very white. Some fancy paper is yellowish, but this is still firmly white.

They accepted it for binding, so it''s a win for me.

The paper is as expected. It is clearly different from common copy papers. The watermark can be at any place of a particular page of paper. If you tear the paper you can see long fiber which you won''t be able to see from common paper. I have nothing much to say about the product, but I did leave a poor review of the packaging as the paper is damaged at on corner. The package I ordered was shipped from WA.

WOW. I had just bought an HP Photosmart Premium AIO and was not initially impressed with the photos prints using the HP Advanced papers. Color and contrast were great, but I could clearly see the dots in the lighter areas. Also tried Canon premium papers I had leftover and was equally disappointed that it looked worse than my 5 year old 6 ink photo printer.

I decided to give the Photo Premium Plus Glossy paper a try and was extremely impressed! The detail is amazing and I can''t see any dots other than the grain from the camera sensor at high ISOs. I am pretty picky about printer output and didn''t believe a 4 color inkjet could produce such sharp and smooth photos. Paper made all of the difference. Love the light sheen of the paper as well, feels and looks like a high quality lab print.

Highly recommended.

This is excellent quality construction paper, all white so my son can draw and paint on it and all his colors will stand out. Exactly what we needed to supplement his pile of colored contstruction paper. This is better quality than the paper we purchased in bulk (heavier and smoother).

I bought these to use for placing over some of my drawings to give them special effects like using the light blue to give the impression the scene was under water. These have a shiny side and a duller side, so they were perfect for my needs.

I began my quest for the perfect colored paper because I figured it would be easier for my very young son to color on a stiffer paper. I first tried this Tru-Ray Sulphite Construction Paper. It is actually decent paper with the white actually looking like white. The paper quality is also better and smoother than many cheaper brands of construction paper. I should mention that it is 9x12 paper and so a little larger than "standard". Definitely not a minus, but it is something to take note of.

Unfortunately, I decided that I would prefer something a little more stiff than its 76lb weight (personal decision and definitely nothing against the Tru-Ray paper) and so have since tried the Wausau Exact Index Cardstock , 110 lb, 8.5 x 11 Inches, 5 Color Pastel Assortment, 250 Sheets (48990). This Wausau 110lb was my second attempt and I have found a winner. This paper is as thick as a thin, store-bought card. I think the colors are also less bright and more rich than they seem in the Amazon image (which is a plus to me). The quality is also excellent with the paper being very smooth (even smoother than the Tru-Ray).

If you are looking for nice construction paper I recommend this Tru-Ray. If, like me, you are looking for something a little thicker then I would definitely recommend looking up the Wausau cardstock.

Well, it''s construction paper for sure. Quality seems good, colors are bright. What else is there to say? It does seem fairly smooth compared to some brands I''ve used in the past. Would probably buy again.

Hi,

I don''t need this tape to withstand car washes or any sort of abuse. Nor do I need it on harsh surfaces. I just needed it to stay on surfaces on which regular tape should not have had any problem staying, namely the length of a smooth plastic cylinder without peeling off by itself. Not Brother tape thought. Brother is a company that makes mediocre, yet expensive products. They also have an inexplicable lack of variety in their tape products. They make a very limited number of colors and have a large number of other limitations such as: no flexible tape in clear. Why? You''d think this is a company that has just started in someone''s basement and they have very limited number of options. So I was directed to buy extra Strength adhesive by the Brother-mall sales people being assured that this tape should hold on for at least a few years on my plastic cylinders. Lies! I placed it on a very smooth and clean surface of a cylinder at room temperature and left it on the desk without touching it. In less than one week the margins start to come off by themselves. I repeated the process many times with same results. I paid over $20 for this tape because it is supposed to have strong adhesive. I guess by Brother standards, staying on a smooth surface for a whole 5 days before peeling off without being touched is extra strong. Come on! There is much stronger adhesive on the generic office tape I buy from the dollar store, 8 rolls for a buck. Is this the quality one should expect from a specialty company like Brother and from a $20 tape? I rate all Brother Tz tapes (since I''ve tried many with same results), with 0.0000001 of a star. Shame, shame, shame on Brother. Laugh and count your money Brother while consumers who are willing to pay any ridiculous price for a stupid piece of plastic as long as it does what it is supposed to do, wander desperately where can they find a decent label making company in this world!
