HP 920 Cyan Ink Cartridge in Retail Packaging CH634AN#140
  • Catalog Publishing Type - Inks & Toners-OEM
  • Color(s) - Cyan
  • Coverage Percent - 5.00 %
  • Device Types - Inkjet Printer
  • Global Product Type - Inks & Toners-Inkjet Cartridge

This stated clearly (with image to match!) "in Retail Packaging" which it absolutely was not. I have contacted the seller without any response. I am planning on reporting this. The ink cartridge did not come in the box but, had a shrink wrap on it that could easily have been created to look like one that would be in a retail packaging. Just the fact that the seller has made no attempt to return a reply to my questioning of the lack of the Retail Packaging is poor business enough to merit the lowest rating from me. I would be extremely cautious purchasing from this buyer.

One thing I don''t like about this printer and it''s ink..I am always buying more ink. I have paid so much in ink prices. When I buy a new printer I will definitely keep that in mind.

920 red does not last long enough so I purchased 920xl and that helps a little. Not sure it I like having to order these colors separately. They are okay for simple things but I make cards and they just do not last long enough. It gets expensive!

Epson B11B207221 Epson Perfection V370 Color Photo Scanner Scanner
  • Scan 35mm slides and negatives-Built-in TPU for enlargements up to 13" x 19"
  • Access documents from mobile devices-Document Capture Pro software included
  • Achieve exceptional clarity and detail-4800 x 9600 optical resolution

I''ve had the Epson B11B198011 Perfection V600 Photo Scanner for two years. I compared it side-by-side with the V370 using the Epson software and also Vuescan by Hamrick Software.

Here is the concise comparison, based on the most common scanning tasks:

QUICK DOCUMENT SCAN: Both scanners handle this with one button. Both use LEDs instead of fluorescent bulbs, so there is no warm-up delay. There''s virtually no difference between them. Use the included Epson software.

OCCASIONAL PHOTO SCANS: Both scanners excel at this, again with one button. No difference between them. Use the Epson Software

OCR: Both scanners include OCR software. Depending on your application, both do an acceptable job. Take your time, line up the pages carefully, rescan when a page has lots of errors. Neither scanner has an automatic document feeder, so you won''t be hand-feeding 100 pages without some fatigue. No difference between the scanners.

BOOK/OBJECT SCANS: This is something I didn''t know I would need before getting the V600. But if the scanner does not have a hinged lid designed for objects thicker than a piece of paper, it will be a major inconvenience to scan a book or a 3D object (I''ve scanned remote controls, artwork, school projects, etc.). Both scanners have a well-designed hinged lid, and work very well with thick books.

FILM SCANNING: This is where you start to see a difference between these two scanners. If you have only occasional slides or negatives to scan, the V370 does an acceptable job. However, it''s resolution is 4800 dpi vs 6400 dpi for the V600. This makes a real and noticeable difference with film, because the original is small and you want all the resolution you can get. In addition, the V600 has a secondary infrared lamp for film scanning, which can make a significant difference for color slides and negatives because it makes dust "disappear." The V370 does not have an IR lamp.

HIGH RESOLUTION SCANNING: Many people put a bit much emphasis on scanner resolution. The fact is, if you are not scanning film or doing some type of technical work where you zoom way in to an image, you will seldom scan a full-size original at the full resolution of the scanner, because each scan will be hundreds of megabytes! The resolution of the V600 is much higher than that of the V370, which will only make a difference if you scan film or do highly-detailed work. If you don''t already know you have an application like this for the 6400 dpi of the V600, it is unlikely you will need more resolution than the 4800 dpi of the V370.

EPSON SOFTWARE (included): The Epson software has gotten better with every release. The newest version for the V370 does photo stitching and direct scanning to cloud accounts, in addition to one-button scanning and photo repair. Epson gives you four modes to choose from, each with a few more controls to tweak. My daughter will not touch Vuescan (see below) because the one-click Epson software does a great job for many jobs, and the Professional mode gives access to most settings to improve your scans. Mac and Windows are both well supported (I tested OS X 10.6 and Windows 7).

VUESCAN SUPPORT: Vuescan from Hamrick Software is an amazing third-party product that gives you significantly better control of every aspect of your scans. I''ve used it since buying the V600. I downloaded the latest release, which directly supports the V370, to do this review. However, I realized something: The included Epson software has gotten so good, casual or intermediate scanner users are unlikely to ever need Vuescan. And if you do need the extra control and features of Vuescan, you probably want the V600 scanner.

This is the key finding of this comparison: If you are the kind of person who will spend many hours scanning hundreds of photos, and learning how to tweak every possible setting to get the best scan before importing it into PhotoShop for further manipulation, then you want the V600. If you are an a less technical user who doesn''t adjust digital photos in Photoshop or tweak scans in Vuescan, then you will be thrilled with the V370 with its included software. Both of these products are light years ahead of what scanners could do 10 years ago.

SUMMARY: Buy the V370 unless you are a PhotoShop guru who loves to tweak, or you have a lot of highly-detailed scanning work that requires 6400 dpi resolution. The V600 will do a significantly better job on negatives or slides, but if you have lots of film to scan, look into a film scanner.

Easy to setup, power and USB cables are sufficient length.

Only issue was that unlike other Epson scanners, the online user''s guide for this one is missing detailed documentation on how to use the different scan modes in the main Epson Scan software they include.

I contacted support and instead of uploading the generic Epson Scan help pages regarding the scan modes that they use for all their other different scanners they told me to use the online user''s guide for a different model, such as V500, that uses the same software and has the proper pages uploaded, lol.

The new Perfection V370 is an extremely accurate scanner that has the ability (albeit with some fine tuning) to deliver spot on clones of photos and other materials that you need to digitize. I threw all kinds of things on the flatbed during my testing and I came away very impressed by the V370''s ability to render even the subtlest details with sharp, color correct quality. HP D1560 Deskjet Printer
  • Sold Individually

To get the newest model of HP''s Deskjets, I paid Amazon top dollar ($81.99 plus shipping) for this basic printer, model D1560. Upon installing the two cartridges, types 22 (color) and 21 (black), the display on the computer indicated that the black cartridge was defective. I had ordered another one and opened and tried that one. Also defective! After consulting with 3 technicians, we drew the conclusion that there are TWO TYPES OF CARTRIDGE NO. 21: one with a black label and one with a white label. The printer has a sensor that can tell the difference. This model takes both cartridges with white labels, but what was shipped with the unit was the correct color cartridge and the incorrect black one. I bought the correct one locally, although the number of this new model, D1560, is not printed on the box. Apparently, if the box says D1460 (among many other numbers), as my correct cartridge''s box does, it is probably the right one for D1560. This is not at all indicated to Amazon''s customers in the information on either the printer or the cartridges. I give it a 3-star evaluation due to this HUGE inconvenience and expense. But now with the right cartridge, it works fine (at least on the first page so far).

The HP csr is not competent and keep making mistakes.

I want to summarize everything here so you can go through everything in 10mins instead of 3 hours.

If you got blinking lights, try to install only one cartrige to isolate the problem. When you have the working cartridge installed (color or B&W), you can hold the power button and open the printer cover 3 times and you can get a test page.

Let the csr know you have a defective cartridge, the cartridge expiration date is on top of the cartridge, and provide them your info and you need to ship the cartridge and test page back.

Good luck,

I''ve never met a printer under $100 that I didn''t have to baby-sit, especially in terms of thick stock. I have been printing greeting cards on thick stock, and manually making sure the printer grabs each page by putting pressure on the front of the paper. I have also had difficulty printing thick photo-paper on the D1560. For the $50 I spent at Staples, I guess that should be expected. It is fine for normal paper.

I just wish HP, Epson, etc... would include "Human assistance required for thick stock" on the box for their cheaper printers.

One other annoyance: this particular printer has very small ink cartridges. Though they seem cheaper, you''ll be replacing them more often.

Want HP D1560 Deskjet Printer Discount?

Put quite simply.

I opened the box.

I hooked it up to my computer.

It installed itself.

I have printed a ream of pages and it still works.

The images are clear and the text is crisp.

I absolutely love it.

Update 10-24-2010:

Still using it and it still works like a dream.

Buy one...you will not regret it.

(consider that the one I bought had been a display model at a Sam''s Club and still works after all of the abuse it must have endured there.)

When my parents bought this printer, i figured for a cheap printer it worked decently. But after about a week, i noticed that we really actually got worse then what we payed for. If i had a chance, i would change the price of this printer to what its really worth, $0.00. It seems that whenever i try to print in word, it fails, only printing the first inch of the page, and a line like 3-4 lines away from the bottom. In the top inch, its also missing half of the text. When i put the document on wordpad/notepad instead, it still has the same outcome. But when i have the printer print the same exact file through paint, it prints it fine, but i shouldn''t/can''t have to print using paint. I have tried all ways of cleaning/fixing/troubleshooting/online help, yet nothing works(oh and HP online tech help is a total waste of time, its not a real technician, its a bot, and for being a computer controlled bot, it sure is stupid) So all in all, i rate it 1 for ease of use, 1 for quality, and 4 for speed, since while it screwed my printed pages up, it at least printed them fast -_-

Kodak ESP 7250 All-in-One Printer

Kodak ESP 7250 All-in-One Printer
  • Start Saving on Ink: Kodak offers the Industry''s LOWEST INK REPLACEMENT COST
  • Save on average $110 a year on ink, based on as few as 4 pages a day!
  • Kodak''s All in One Printer has the Best-in-Class Wi-Fi Setup - It''s Wi-Fi Simplied!

For this review I''ve decided to compare the Kodak ESP 7250 to similarly priced models from Canon, HP and Epson. All 4 models are Wireless All-in-One Ink Jet Printers (printer/scanner/copier).

Basic Summary of the Kodak ESP 7250

35 second warm up after powering on.

Prints nearly instantly. No secondary warm up before each print job.

Colors are not as bright as the competition, but very natural looking.

Prints very quietly. Minimal body shake while printing.

Double sided printing.

Separate paper tray and photo tray.

Digital menu on printer is great. Very easy to navigate options. Very intuitive interface.

Small footprint. Smaller than competition.

Most attractive design in price range. Smooth lines. Not too techy.

CHEAP INK. Lower priced manufacturer ink than the competition. VERY BIG PLUS.

Kodak ESP 7250 vs:

1) Canon PIXMA MX870

Kodak is quieter, prints faster, looks better.

Canon has slightly better print quality not much better though. Most people won''t notice the difference.

Canon is louder while printing, shakes a lot, and takes longer to warm up and print.

Canon has more buttons. Kodak has a better menu system.

CONCLUSION: Canon is more business. Kodak is more family.

2) HP Photosmart Premium

HP''s touch screen menu is awesome.

Both have similar print quality. HP produces a bit brighter colors. Kodak is more natural looking (muted colors).

HP warms up a bit faster by a few seconds.

Both print with equal speed, equal noise and equal printer shake (almost none).

Nearly equal footprint.

Both are visually attractive designs.

HP ink is more expensive.

CONCLUSION: Very similar printers. HP''s touch screen is awesome. Kodak ink is more affordable.

3) Epson Artisan

Epson''s 5-ink system prints amazing! Best in class.

Epson ink is expensive.

Kodak printer is more visually attractive.

Kodak prints faster.

Kodak has a better menu system.

CONCLUSION: Epson prints awesome photos. Kodak is a more economical all-around printer.

In the land of printers, there are those who print amazing photos (like the Epson), those that are super techy (like HP''s touch screen), those that are work horses (Canon) and those that are just good, middle of the road, some bells but no whistles printers. The Kodak ESP 7250 is one of these middle of the road printers. The photo print quality is good, but not fantastic. But everywhere else the Kodak is a solid performer, having all the features a printer should have while looking good and staying quiet. What sets this printer above the rest is the low cost of printing.

So if you aren''t super picky about your photos and you want to save some money in the long run, while still getting a solid printer, then the Kodak ESP 7250 is the way to go.

If my review was helpful, please click the "YES" button below. Thank you and happy printing!

My family was lucky enough to get one of these printers to test for a few months. We had to send the test printer back yesterday but I''m putting my own on order today. The print quality and speed are incredible, the printer design is sleek and highly functional and the supplies are cheap compared to the dinky HP deskjet we had been using. I found the Kodak technical support unparalleled, especially compared to HP, and Canon. Kodak even built in a photo help center for photo editing, and printing. I did all 100 Christmas photo cards only with this software, and I used less than one black and one color cartridge. The Wireless function is great; my husband could print from his Windows work laptop and my daughter printed from her Macbook files from her room. We didn''t know you could print from an IPOD Touch, but she''ll get the free app to print from that. I didn''t get paid to write this, but you ought to know what a cool printer it is, (I am not a techie, just a mom)

I received this product through the Amazon Vines Program. I currently have an HP Officejet 7410 All in one and was looking for something that was a bit smaller. The Kodak ESP 7250 really surprised me with the size and ease of setup! From the time I started opening up the box until I had the unit up and running with my wireless network and software installed on my laptop took a total of 33 minutes. Here are the plus features of the unit:

1. Easy to install. The instructions are very straight forward and short. I actually completed most of the setup just by looking at the unit and following the pictures. I only referred to the written instructions PRIOR to powering it up to ensure that I had done verything correctly.

2. Wireless networking was simple and works great! No more need to have your printer located somewhere where cables can be run to connect the printer to the network or to the computer! Loading the software onto the laptop and desktop was quick and it immediately located and installed the drivers for the printer on the wireless network.

3. Size is much smaller than the HP 7410 printer, though the HP includes a Fax (something that this all in one does not) and the HP also has a sheet feeder (something that the Kodak unit also does not have). Still, it is about half the size which helps to locate the unit in smaller locations.

4. There is a seperate photo paper slot that handles either 4X6 or 5X8 photo paper. This is seperate from the regular paper tray and you can have both loaded at the same time. A selection on the printer software tells the printer which paper to draw upon.

5. Scanning surface works very well and I feel is a bit better in quality than the HP.

6. The included software for working with your pictures is simple and does a nice job in the printing of pictures. I was very pleased with each of the pictures that printed and they were dry and ready to use as soon as they came off the printer. No smudging or running ink!!

Surprises with the Printer:

The only surprise was that as soon as I loaded the software onto my laptop, it found that there was an update to the firmware for the printer. Since this is a brand new model, that did surprise me. However, the laptop was able to download and install the firmware update for the printer over the wireless network quickly and everything worked fine the first time through.

Negatives:

1. As with any ink printer, this is not the quietest unit in the world. The unit does vibrate and make noise as it aligns itself and as it prints. So, insure that you put it onto a stable surface!!

2. Although it says that it is an all in one printer, it does not support Fax!! Yes, that is a dying feature, but it is still one in use.

3. No feeder tray does make it a bit less usefull if you are trying to copy several pages at once. However, the included two sided capablity does at least ensure that you are able to use both sides of the paper automatically if you so desire.

All in all, I am very pleased with this printer and it will be replacing my HP All in One.

Want Kodak ESP 7250 All-in-One Printer Discount?

I had this printer on a printer stand in the corner of my office for a few weeks. The wireless was working marvelously. This printer was working nicely churning out handful of documents a day for three weeks. Then, a few days ago a pop up came onto my screen letting me know there was an update available. I immediately downloaded the update and ran it. Sadly, it caused my printer to cease working from that point. The printer cannot be found on the network. I''ve tried different reentering the wireless key numerous times. I''ve restarted the printer and the computer. I disconnected it for a day. I''ve tried different locations in the house including next to the router. The problem actually extends beyond the wireless connectively as well.

The printer also refuses to work on an ethernet connection to my router.

At the suggestion of tech support, I checked my firewall and this printer is not being blocked either.

I''ve removed and reinstalled the printer drivers. I''ve tried two ways to add the printer to the network as well. I tried through devices and printers, "add device" as well as through the Kodak AIO software.

If anyone has suggestions that might work, or if you''ve solved this problem, please let me know how. I''ll update if I ever get the wireless to work again.

So, as a wireless printer I give this printer 1 star. As a wired printer, it works perfectly when connected to my computer by a standard USB printer cable (borrowed from my other printer). I did have to reinstall the printer software, and I am happy overall with the print quality and ink cost.

The scanner is very fast and I also like the fact that it has a card reader on the printer. The paper tray is great too, especially since it can store both photo paper and ream paper. I wish the photo tray could hold standard business size envelopes as an option, but it only has the ability for 4x6 or 5x7 photo paper.

So, 2 stars for now because the wifi problems are a huge issue for me.

Too often with inkjet printers, I''ve been an idiot. I fall for the cheap pricetag of the printer, and then accept the forty dollar ink refills as a fact of life. It''s the old razor and blade strategy and I''ve been a sucker.

NO MORE!

I now own a printer with sanely priced ink cartridges. When I run out, I buy actual Kodak ink cartridges without being gouged. No waiting a week for knockoff brand ink to ship from ebay, just a quick run to the nearest office supply store for the real thing at a decent price. Those of you who seem to run out of ink the day a paper is due, take note.

Since I have black & white laser printers, I use my Kodak 7250 mainly for printing photographs, and they come out gorgeous. The color rendering is dead on with all the 4x3''s I''ve been printing. It''s nearly as good as the Kodak kiosks at various stores. I''ve been enjoying filling my photo albums up this past week, and with the cheap ink prices, I''ll let my friends use it too.

Update: January 2011

Just received my second order of this ink package and again am very pleased with the product and the seller. I am now looking for another printer for my college student daughter and I will get another Canon (Pixma MP990) that takes this same ink. Her current 1 year old printer is an HP Office Jet wireless all-in-one and the ink replacement is more than the printer; selling for $100 at our local Sam''s Club discount pricingseriously. SO, I am printer shopping and am going to donate the HP. We had HP printers before and they are great printers but the ink prices from HP (and we have not found a generic replacment, just refill your own cartridge kits which is messybeen there, done that) are still ridiculous even 10 years later. Not wanting to do what some of our friends are doing, which is buying an inexpensive printer with ink for less than name brand ink refills, we will stick with this product and supplier since we don''t want to add to the landfills with perfectly working printers that simply ran out of ink. The previous order lasted since July 2010 with 2 black and 1 gray left over and that is with regular use.

Original Review:

We thought to try this ink after previous seller reviews and needing to find a more affordable alternative to the name brand Canon ink for our family use printer. We compared and found that even shopping at our local Sam''s Club, this ink offer was much less expensive. With the inclusion of the required printer microchip in the cartridges, price and seller quality we decided to take the plunge. We are very happy with both the seller and the product. The inks arrived quickly (a good thing as we were out, lol) and included the rare grey pigment that we were unable to purchase in the 5 pack at Sam''s Club. You see, the gray ink is not marketed by Canon in the "discounted" multi pack. It contains 5 of the 6 needed colors only and was approx $70. including tax. Also, your printer will NOT function with ANY ink cartridge in empty status so no grey means no printer. Other users have stated that they purchased the grey here on Amazon as they have had a hard time finding it stocked at local stores (we saw that issue, too) and buy it in advance to have on hand (a very good idea). This package deal also has the advantage of see through cartridges for quick ink identification/levels. The ink quality is every bit as good as Canon''s and whenever my family can purchase 14 cartridges plus get some free photo paper for less than 5 cartridges of Canon brand at Sam''s Club and including the 6th necessary grey pigment, with only $3 shipping, it is a no brainer great deal. We will definitely be buying all our future ink needs here and with this product. Thanks for offering a great family value in needed times!

  • Single Chrome Rail - provides accurate cuts and years of service.
  • Cut Control Plate - eliminates any possibility of overloading the cutter.

The lower price of this cutter is because of the one stabilizing bar as opposed to two. A bent bar would result in imprecise cutting. While it is natural/tempting to pick up the cutter by the bar it is not necessary -and how and where you store it should resolve any problem. If others are going to use it, however, consider the more stable set-up, even though it is pricier.

The cutter I purchased via Amazon is very precise and smooth. while they don''t say so, the blade is self-sharpening and makes razor smooth cuts. However, it is difficult to see exactly where the cut is going to be. Drawback. I purchased a long under-cabinet battery powered light to place under the paper/picture/cardstock to be cut so that I can see exactly where the razor edge is going to land. Works very well.

This cutter says it handles 10 sheets of paper at once. That is a severe overstatement. One piece fits tightly. That works well for my needs. However, if you want to do multiples, I recommend you purchase an upgraded model (i.e., more expensive) over this one.

The help/guide ruler at the top is not exact to the nth degree, so don''t trust that, if you butt your paper up against it and then cut that you will have a straight document. Pull it down and eyeball it on the grid lines. The black paper holder screws down to hold any paper where you want it. It doesn''t help much when you cut at the lower end of the cutter which is nearest to the operator.

All that said, it makes beautiful cuts and is fun to use. I think, if I had to do it over again, I would buy an upgrade. An extra 50$ would have been worth it.

I am extremely satisfied with my rototrim. I couldn''t understand why I didn''t get one of these to begin with. I should have gone with the best originally.

I already have a workgroup laser printer for my heavy printing needs. But manually feeding in Avery label sheets just to print a few address labels is a real multi-step hassle. So I got the Dymo Labelwriter and the only thing I''ve been asking myself is: why didn''t I get this thing sooner?

It uses thermal printing no messy or expensive ink cartridges

It''s fast and quiet

The labels come out looking GREAT like they came from a professional printers

It installed quickly without any problems at all

The software is easy to use and even includes a nifty label designer, which I''ve been using to make professional looking labels for my office.

The list goes on and on. I L-O-V-E this printer and will never go without it again.

We use these printers at work, and I''m very satisfied with them, so I got one for at home. We print address labels by the sheet in a laser printer, but this printer is great for smaller quantities, and less danger of getting labels stuck deep inside a laser printer. My wife is an organizer, and this makes it easy to label photos, make neat captions for scrapbooks, tag boxes of clothes going in the attic, etc. Keep in mind this printer only does black-on-white (or whatever color label tape is loaded), but it has excellent graphic resolution. The printer is shareable, so if you have a home network the other computers can use it too. Dymo offers a wide selection of labels and tapes in various sizes and colors. Very good product!

This item has worked out better than i thought. I have been using it at home and office.

I''ve had this almost a year and wish I could use it for more of my printing needs. It is for home use, but I have used several sizes of the label cassettes and many sizes of the paper labels. I especially like the clear labels because they look so nice on things in my kitchen, bath, etc. The file folder labels are great as well.

Both the cassette and labels are very easy to change from one size to another. The print is crisp and it is great not having to replace ink cartridges.

My only disappointment so far was not being able to print Media Mail postage, but I found a work-around.

I have not tried printing from Word, Excel, etc. so I can''t comment on how easily it is to mesh the two.

I should probably add that I got this for less than $100 on Black Friday. As much as I love it, I wouldn''t be able to justify spending $200 for it plus the cost of various labels for strictly home use.

This is my third Dymo LabelWriter. This time I bought their combo label and tape (strips of adhesive labels, usually plastic coated) printer when my tape printer died. Big mistake. I use some special symbols and fonts. The label portion doesn''t pass my formatting on from Office Word.

The tape editor is really hard to use. If you have any special symbols, something as simple as making the text bold changes everything to symbols (not even from the symbol font I was using).

Worse, if you labor hard enough to construct a tape and print it, you will have all your formatting stripped away when you save.

If all you do is print one-font, one-size labels and tapes, it is probably an okay printer. The label printer seems okay but tape printer jams now and then but not too often (every 25 to 50 print operations).

Since Dymo has only offered the most inane support to many requests for aid, I will not buy a Dymo product again. I''ll try Brother, probably.
