Just received my second order of this ink package and again am very pleased with the product and the seller. I am now looking for another printer for my college student daughter and I will get another Canon (Pixma MP990) that takes this same ink. Her current 1 year old printer is an HP Office Jet wireless all-in-one and the ink replacement is more than the printer; selling for $100 at our local Sam''s Club discount pricingseriously. SO, I am printer shopping and am going to donate the HP. We had HP printers before and they are great printers but the ink prices from HP (and we have not found a generic replacment, just refill your own cartridge kits which is messybeen there, done that) are still ridiculous even 10 years later. Not wanting to do what some of our friends are doing, which is buying an inexpensive printer with ink for less than name brand ink refills, we will stick with this product and supplier since we don''t want to add to the landfills with perfectly working printers that simply ran out of ink. The previous order lasted since July 2010 with 2 black and 1 gray left over and that is with regular use.

We thought to try this ink after previous seller reviews and needing to find a more affordable alternative to the name brand Canon ink for our family use printer. We compared and found that even shopping at our local Sam''s Club, this ink offer was much less expensive. With the inclusion of the required printer microchip in the cartridges, price and seller quality we decided to take the plunge. We are very happy with both the seller and the product. The inks arrived quickly (a good thing as we were out, lol) and included the rare grey pigment that we were unable to purchase in the 5 pack at Sam''s Club. You see, the gray ink is not marketed by Canon in the "discounted" multi pack. It contains 5 of the 6 needed colors only and was approx $70. including tax. Also, your printer will NOT function with ANY ink cartridge in empty status so no grey means no printer. Other users have stated that they purchased the grey here on Amazon as they have had a hard time finding it stocked at local stores (we saw that issue, too) and buy it in advance to have on hand (a very good idea). This package deal also has the advantage of see through cartridges for quick ink identification/levels. The ink quality is every bit as good as Canon''s and whenever my family can purchase 14 cartridges plus get some free photo paper for less than 5 cartridges of Canon brand at Sam''s Club and including the 6th necessary grey pigment, with only $3 shipping, it is a no brainer great deal. We will definitely be buying all our future ink needs here and with this product. Thanks for offering a great family value in needed times!

All of my pictures look like they were bleached out by the sun since I switch to this brand. I don''t think I will be buying this again.
