These tickets by Avery are nice and relatively easy to use once you figure out how to make them. The hardest part of using them, for me, was figuring out how to use the downloadable template--if you don''t want to design tickets online. (Search for template 16154 on their site). I used the template with Microsoft Word. Make sure, under Table Tools: Layout that "View Gridlines" is selected. This will show the borders in light gray. Otherwise, it''s difficult to figure out how to use the template. When I downloaded it, the borders didn''t show up, and it took a while to figure out how to change that!
The tickets are a nice thickness; about the thickness of cardstock or a business card. Fold each ticket back and forth, and they separate from one another. The area that can be torn off the tickets has a coarser (less fine) perforation, so that it doesn''t fall off when splitting apart the tickets.
I''m pleased with the results and have had no trouble with paper feed, using a laser printer. I don''t think my old ink jet would have been able to handle the ticket sheets, though.

Great concept, poor execution!
I purchased these assuming that Avery would have had a template available. Well just so you know, there isn''t one. You have to use the Design Online Tool and unfortunately it will not print out my tickets. I assumed it was a browser issue so I closed Chrome and tried Firefox and IE. No such luck. I then changed computers, twice. Nothing.
I e-mailed Avery to ask them for a template, but they don''t have one since these are new. They also told me to check my browser and try again. After day three I quit trying to pull them up and print them.
I''m going to try and use a ruler and create my own template, but fair warning don''t waste your time "designing" them online!!

I generally really like Avery templates but they seriously missed the mark here. The paper stock is fairly light compared with similar "Admit One" products it feels extremely flimsy and the tear-off stub gets damaged easily. It feeds through a laser printer with no issues but the end result doesn''t look very professional.
Getting the template set up is not at all straight forward. There are two numbers on the front of the package the large obvious one (76154) is not the one you need (16154). When searching Avery''s website with this number there are currently six templates available, all of which have a Valentine''s Day theme. If you delete everything and just use the grid in MS Word, you can probably throw together something with a fair amount of work, but unless you''re hosting a Valentine''s raffle, these prebuilt designs aren''t very useful.
The online design software provided is clunky at best with very limited features. Even the design featured on the front of the package would be very hard to reproduce in any of their software. As an upside, you can add QR codes and barcodes, but you can''t increment a number on each ticket very easily. Considering these are built for raffles and entry tickets, this is a major problem since you will likely want a different number on each ticket. The other consideration is that these are very easy to copy so wouldn''t be suitable for many raffles or ticketed events.
Overall I wasn''t very impressed with either the paper quality or design options. For ticketed events we''ve managed in the past, we''ve used a website called admitoneproducts that sells rolls of heavy, card-stock numbered tickets for around $4 per 2000. While these aren''t customized at this price, they look much more professional.

Avery has designed this product for those looking to design and print their own tickets, where you have a ticket and a stub with matching numbers. Just be aware that you may need some time to get the right template and fine tune your design before printing it out. It is best to print a test page on regular paper to ensure the dimensions are correct before printing onto the ticket page.
I''ve been a long time user of Avery products for many decades and have come to rely on the many products they offer in my day to day business and personal life.
The Avery 16154 tickets are of very good quality and can become very useful for our needs. They have a good thickness and feel to them and they are compatible with both laser and inkjet printers. I like the fact that you can get 10 tickets per page, verses the 8 per page of other brands.
The only con I can think of... and it is a big con and a huge nuisance is the fact that they did not create a template for any of the previous versions of DesignPro for these tickets, just an MS Word template. Since I am not a fan of MS Word and I am not familiar with this program, hence it becomes a huge nuisance.
In general, we will use this product only as long as we need to and as long as we can feel comfortable in using it. However, without a DesignPro template, it is highly unlikely that we will continue using this product in the future.
