For the past six years or so, I''ve been using Ilford Classic Pearl paper exclusively. I love the satin finish and the beautiful prints I get from my Canon S9000 and iP4600 printers. However, it''s not cheap. So when I saw this on Amazon, I was tempted to give it a try.

The paper is not as heavy as the Classic Pearl, and the finish doesn''t quite feel as satin-y as the Classic Pearl, but it nevertheless produces outstanding prints. Gorgeous colors, excellent detail. I love this paper, and will start using it for most of my everyday photo printing. Great value, too.

The quality of this photo paper almost matches that of my professional print lab and is great for when I need a print or two now. It is closest to a lab''s lustre finish paper. It''s a little lighter in weight than a professional paper, but the prints look just as good.

I have used several brand of photo paper for my Epson 1800r. Again and again I am most impressed with Ilford paper. I particularly like their pearl finish. It is the best paper I have found for printing portraits and wedding photos.

ILford paper is just the best paper that I have used, and I have use every brand out there.
