The paper is bright & crisp at 96 brightness. (An honest 96I''ve had some paper that was mighty dark for claimed "96")

It is fairly heavy, at 24 pound weight. But, not too heavy to feed properly in the printer.

Even though technically it is laser paper, it holds inkjet ink very well. The printout did not smudge or bleed around too much on "Super Fast" setting. It smudged less on "Normal" setting & not at all on "Short Grain" setting, even with quite small fonts.

(When I write "too much" I mean to say that the printout, even fast speed, looks very, very good. Certainly acceptable for business.)

To my eyes, it looks like it is Short Grain paper. Boise''s web site isn''t saying which it is. Tabloid size often is short grain for ease in folding. Some inkjets can''t print well on short grain. Lasers don''t careso your printouts should look perfect.

Would I buy it again? In GeneralWithout hesitation.

From AmazonI doubt it. The outer wrapper was torn to pieces & at least 25% of the paper was crunched up (all over the inside of the outer box, other items smashing into it). So, my price-per-page went way up on this purchase!

Factoring in the unusable sheets, paper with the same weight & brightness would have been cheaper at a local store.

I did not lower the "Star" rating for the product because of the packaging. The product''s great.

At the time we purchased this paper, it has close to the best price you can find on an 11x17 paper. We use this paper to print posters for concerts. It is a little light for posters, however for the price you can''t deny it. Especially since these posters are going to get taped to a business'' window for a month or two and then get ripped down. It''s a nice bright white paper as well. Much better quality than your standard printer paper purchased for the cheapest price from your local office supply store.

I am an industrial design student and I go through a lot of paper for ideation on projects. I had been using whatever paper was least expensive, but because I use markers for projects, I decided to use a better grade of paper. This Boise Presentation letter paper is terrific. Don''t get me wrong, if you are churning out hundreds of pages of black & white reports day after day, go with less expensive (preferably recycled) line of paper. However, if you want your work to look great and clean, step up and buy this paper.

For the price, this is amazing paper. The white is consistent and crispy, and the paper feels very nice to the touch. It holds a print well, and has not caused any issues in my machine. I will definitely be purchasing more of this product.
