Amazing copy quality, great color copying and scanning, installation took about an hour and was easy (I don''t fax much, so I don''t feel qualified to comment on this part).
I highly recommend this all-in-one product for home and small office use.

We had the HP 6210 for about a year. I decided to get a second printer in the house and after reading reviews on Amazon bought the HP 7210. I am SO happy with this printer. The installation went smoothly ( I followed all the directions exactly ) and I found the installation to be more streamlined than previous years. These are the reasons this printer is much better than the HP6210:
1) It''s visibly faster.
2) You can stack more paper in the printer so it doesn''t run out as often.
3) It''s quieter.
With the HP6210, after about a year, it wasn''t grabbing the paper properly for faxes. That was another reason I decided to purchase a different model this time.
I was so happy with this printer and the price ($249.00) that I bought two more for my high school aged children. For that price, they can have their own printer now and have a printer to take to college.

This printer is fast and convenient. I can fax, copy, scan, and print on the same machine. I like the fact that I don''t need to turn on my PC to fax or copy. I can even send double-sided documents through the paper feeder. Printing double-sided documents is also a breeze.Although, I still don''t know how much the ink will cost.

I''ve been using the 7210 for the last 3 months. Scanner, FAX, Copier and printer functions have been reliable and of good quality. I use XP and the software interface is not the top of the line package..I often use a third party graphic program to scan images..the default is slower and not as intuitive.Overall, the 7210 is a good workhorse that quietly supports general office needs.
Why it''s not a ''5''.
Expensive ink replacement
Software for scans only rates a ''3''
OkikidzThis is my third HP Inkjet in about 15 years. They all printed and lasted very nicely and the 7210 is a great replacement for the 8 yr old G55xi I had. But like every one of these printers, the install software was poor. The one on the HP 7210 install disk is the worst yet. On XP Pro it hung up 6 times (add Additional Features) was the last prompt I saw never got a clean install.
MY RECOMMENDATION: GO TO THE HP SUPPORT WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD THE LASTEST DRIVER. ONLY INSTALL THE BASIC DRIVER AND LET XP DO THE REST. THIS WORKED FLAWLESSLY AND WORKED THE FIRST TIME!!!!
Still a great printer. Would be a 5 and maybe will be if HP ever figures out how to write desktop software.
