I purchased this TM-U220B printer to replace a Micros branded printer (of the exact same model) in a restaurants kitchen. It was hundreds cheaper than the price of the Micros branded version so it was worth a try for me. I received it, pulled the interface card out of my old one, popped it into the new one and it started working immediately. My last one lasted me 5 years until it just ceased to work anymore. I hope to get at least 5 years out of this one.

I bought this printer and opened the box a month later. The printer was used in the restaurant with Aloha POS system. The machine stopped working after 2 days. Found Epson authorized dealer, still waiting to get it fixed.
