This printer has worked very well for us! We haven''t had any mechanical problems with it. Uses Ink very sparingly and the images it prints on printable CD''s and DVD''s is excellent. This is actually better than the newer version that is black, simply because the new one doesn''t print on CD''s or DVD''s like this version.HP Photosmart C5580 Printer

I agree with others that the hp software sucks, but you can let windows install drivers so you don''t have to deal with it. Or uninstall the unwanted software. Functionality wise I haven''t had any issues, and I''ve had the printer for two years now. I use the sd card slot a lot and like being able to print pictures or documents off that.

What a piece of junk. I had to return the first one that I bought. It had some kind of malfunction. The software that comes with it is really invasive. It doesn''t work well and is constantly updating for unknown reasons. The paper jams always and the dvd printing is really difficult. The software for dvd printing is ridiculous, redundant, and counter-intuitive. Stay away from this device!

This is an awesome printer. I wore the first one out (use at work) and had to go online to find a second one. The ink use is acceptable. The only issue with this is the software. It just takes too long to load and needed several tries to get the load to finish. If my second one wears out, I hope I will find another.

This printer worked almost as well as my old epson r200. It will not print on dvds with win 7. Also the nag screens & crapware hp are using are a real put off! I''m turfing this dog!
