For my packaging design project I''ve been looking for several months for some metallic inkjet paper that is not white paper with pearl finish but silvery, light grey metallic paper. I''ve tried printing on silvery art paper I bought from art supplies stores, but as they were not meant for printers, the end results were horrible. I''ve thought of printing on pearl or metallic photo papers from Canson or Inkpress, but I noticed they were almost always just white paper with pearl finish. As my last attempt I found this Inkjet Station paper. I had never seen this brand in any of the paper stores or art supplies stores in my area, so I was doubtful about its quality. Oh well, I was in a hurry and thought I''d just try and see, since other papers were not a good fit anyway. But when I received the paper and opened the package, I was thrilled to see the silver paper! Although t was just a tiny bit darker than the ideal silver tone I desired, this was totally going to work fine with my packaging. I printed from Epson Photo Black 4900 on this paper, and my project looked amazing because of the hint of silver tone underneath bright colors. This paper may NOT work for photographs because it is not white. But for those who''d like to print their design projects on silver paper from your inkjets, this is it. I highly recommend it and will totally buy Inkjet Station''s papers again.

The "metallic" finish of this paper is more like a bunch of rather obvious sparkles embedded into the paper itself. It''s made very well and has a good weight and finish, but my prints look pretty stupid on it because the sparkles are so large. Other than the sparkles (when the paper is curved so that they reflect light) the paper is very dull and grey, and did not make my photos "pop" at all... I prefer the boring old Epson Luster to this for sure, and am pretty dissappointed in the overall finished product. Just for reference, I''m using an Epson Stylus Pro 7800 inkjet printer.
