I figured if you get what you pay for then with an average 4 star rating the worst that could happen with these would be that they print lousy copies, which was fine since I don''t have to print quality artwork all that often. Naturally, the first time I used them, I was printing a nice birthday card, however. The colors faded into a weird yellow on one print and one had a big smudge of yellow ink, but the weird faded one was was workable if not perfect. The next time I tried to print, the printer would attempt to print, but only blank paper would come out. I''ve rarely had a problem with this printer in the 4 years that I''ve had it that couldn''t be solved with a nozzle cleaning, but the printer seems to be finished. Maybe I can get it to work again, but I''ve already wasted an hour on it (not including the time it took to write this warning). Buyer beware!Want 6 Pack Epson Ink Cartridges for Epson Stylus Photo R200 Discount?
For me these cartriges do not provide satisfactory results for my printer, an Epson Stylus Photo Multifunction RX620. After attempting to print a .pdf file with text and photos the results were pathetic: massive steaks through photos, unreadable text, etc. Could not access the ''Setup Menu'' to try to run the Head Cleaners etc. So there was nothing to do but remove all these cartridges and return them.I searched around a lot to find a less expensive option to the Epson brand ink due to it''s outrageous price. I was concerned with going for the lowest price replacements I found as I didn''t want to just buy junk. This product seemed like it might be a little better quality with its slightly higher price. What I found was that the electrical contacts on the replacement cartridges were considerably smaller and lesser quality than the originals but enough to work as long as everything was very clean.
This brings me to my next point which is that the fill holes on the replacements were covered with a sticker that needed to be removed, however when I removed the sticker before installing the first cartridge it spilled ink very easily into the the cartridge tray and the trouble began.
After several hours of messing with cleanup and careful installation only four of the six cartridges were recognized by the printer and installing an almost empty Epson cartridge was immediately recognized and the printer would then function.
So if you have more time than money and your very careful with the replacement process the price is very good.
If Epson wasn''t so concerned about their bottom line I would be happy to buy original replacements, but not at their going price.
