I like getting the best product (quality) for the $$. I have found there is a significant difference with the quality of my prints if I do NOT use Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy on my Epson Printer. My photos printed are frequently commented on by others for their quality of print. Others are shocked my photos are printed at home, on an inexpensive Epson Printer (Photo R280) using Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy Paper.

I do not know how this paper works on other printers.

I have been trying to print a texture study and bought this on the off chance I could get the image I was after. It has exceeded my expectaions. If you like glossy you will love this paper.

I use this paper mainly in my Epson Artisan 810 printer with six ink colors. Sometimes I do use it in my Epson Stylus Pro 3880 printer as well (9 color inks with photo black and matte black). I only wish this paper was available in larger sizes, like 17 x 22 or even 13 x 19. For those large format prints, you have to settle for their "Premium Glossy" photo paper, which is MUCH thinner! It''s also the only glossy paper available in 11 x 14 from Epson. I very rarely use third party papers because color accuracy, saturation, and longevity is very important to me. Red River makes some good paper, but it isn''t the same as Epson paper. C''mon Epson! Make this excellent paper available in sizes larger than 8.5 x 11!!

I have tried many brands and rated photo paper I go though several boxes a month, It took a while before I discovered the Epson paper. Let me be real I kept putting it off I knew Epson made great printers as far as I''m concerned they make the best and thats all I buy, but as far as photo paper goes I thought to myself the best people to buy photo paper from were the ones known for years to make photo film and paper and that was Kodak, 5-Star Photo Paper when the merchant I brought it from ran out of it I brought HP photo Paper reluctently because I thought the same about them as I did Epson that merchant didn''t carry Epson, but they did have a lot of other brands which I also tried.

Epson is pricy so I finally thought lets give it a try and see whats so great about it. Man was I surprised what a difference, the Epson 5-Star Photo Paper is totally in a league of it''s own it should be a 6-star one look and you can clearly see a difference it''s vibrant and flawless with so much dept, and it dries instantly I know because there was a time or two that I realized I printed the wrong image on it and tried to run water on it to wash it off, did I mention it was water proof as well, I only buy other brands now when I don''t want to waste the Epson Paper and I always make sure I have extra Epson.
