I did quite a bit of research between sub $100 printer models, both laser and inkjet, and I found that the Epson WP-4020 gave me the best bang fur my buck. This ink cartridge gives me 2400 pages. Thats considerable higher than any other manufacture for the cost of this ink, and the quality is just as good as any. I work for a major electronics manufacturer and planned on buying one my company madebut I could not in good conscience spend the same money for half the ink effeciency.

Benjamin there (Who has the only other review as I write this) is not pleased with the cost of this ink tank but it is huge! Per page it is a really good value. Ink is indeed expensive, but if you are a high user this is the way to go.

I had to replace my small carriage Epson printer and upgraded to the "commercial" WP-4020, partially because of these much larger ink cartridges. These new inks are more durable and resistant to moisture and scratches. The larger tanks seem to last forever. Also, these tanks are solely ink reservoirs. The print heads are not part of the tank. Delivery was quick and cheap. Epson keeps sending me "Sales", but they exclude ink from their sale pricing. These are the cheapest prices around for genuine Epson ink.

For the past 20 years I have witnessed inkjet cartridges shrink.... and shrink... and shrink... Yet they seem to get more expensive. Not with the Epson DURABrite Ultra! It was very refreshing to find a color cartridge that was not diminutive in size and that truly lasts. Let''s put it this way: After many prints I eventually got a low ink warning, and so I ordered a replacement cartridge expecting to need to change the cartridge any day. To my surprise the cartridge kept going an going, and indeed it was quite a while after when the time finally came to replace it. It was much longer than expected. This is a wonderful product, and I am extremely pleased!
