If you are an advanced computer user, you should be alright but anyone expecting to use the pre-built template will be disappointed when they spend HOURS working on the layout for these cards

If the thought of printing on both sides & lining it up perfectly each time makes you nervous, you definitely should not buy this

The Word templates provided for this item were useless in my case & has no instructions

I ended up going to the Avery website, using their online layout tool to make a PDF, then opening that PDF inside Adobe Illustrator and laying my artwork out that way.

It took me hours, and I do this kind of thing for a living!

NOW, I will say the cards themselves are fantastic. Note that they are not Inkjet & Laser -you buy EITHER Laser OR Inkjet. The papers are very different, and my Epson inkjet can''t print on these laser ones -but they come out great when you use them in a color laser.

The edges on these cards are fantastic. Even the pickiest person could not determine that they were from a print-at-home kit (in other words, the perforated edge is undetectable)

The templates don''t fill in both sides of the card, I guess you could fill out 4 different templates and print, flip, feed, print, rotate, feed, print, etc. The wizard is worse than the templates. the online design and print is actually decent, when it will save your design, when I got mine right it wouldn''t save, just freezes with a little clock running. One star for the paper, one for the online designer, three more when you get it all to work. I''ll even try to smuggle you in a sixth star if you come up with working templates for Open Office, Libre Office, or Abiword. The templates may be compatible with these other programs, hard to say, since they didn''t work any better in MS Office. Seriously the online design and print seems to be the best tool available, just save early and save often, and try to get it perfect the first time, or you may have to start over from the beginning just for a simple change.

The design printed very nicelysharp and crispon the paper, but the printer kept jamming because the paper wasn''t flat (due to the perforation of the cards). We had something like 10 extra sheets for the amount of cards we wanted to print and in the end had to go buy another pack of paper due to smeared ink related to paper jams. I don''t know that there''s a better product out there, but beware that you''ll need several extra sheets to deal with this issue.

I ordered these to make escort cards for a wedding. I''ve tried other brands and the edges were always ragged and looked cheap. These were clean, pretty much exactly as advertised and they looked great for my use. They are a touch on the thin side for business cards, but as a table top display they are perfect and look really sharp. The Avery wizard is quirky and takes some getting used to, but definitely helps mass produce and can be used to mail merge for a custom job. I''ve already ordered more. Great product.
