I received the tri colored one and the black one. They work fantastic. Although my dad says that they are good for 10 years. I know that is a lie.

I am very glad that you have this business because it saved my life. Without a computer up and running and working around here life is dead. Thanks so much for sending me these applications. Have a nice day. Plus keep up the good work.

Want HP 41 Tri-Color Ink Cartridge in Retail Packaging Discount?

I had to give it a star it would like let me go forward without it. I did not ge the Hp cartridge as shown. I got a generic cartridge that did not fit although advertised for Deskjet 1000 series. To return they want me to pay for return shipping when it''s their fault. I will never purchase anything from this retailer again. I can''t print the return label since I don''t have ink.

I bought two of these HP 41 cartridges from a supplier in TX who claims to be heavenly. They were supposed to be in retail packaging. They were not. they were in generic white sleeves, the sort that are inside the real retail packaging. Then each cartridge was different, but both were obviously re-mans. This might be what you would expect at this price, but not how the item was described.

The real problem was neither one worked. One had dried up yellow and cyan ink. Only the magenta worked. The other caused a printer error message.I sent them both back for a refund.

Bottom line is these are high capacity cartridges by today''s standards, which is good because they last a long time. But it is bad because the ink dries up before you use it up unless you do regular cleaning cycles.... which uses a lot of ink! A Catch-22.

If you try to inventory your own spares the will just dry up before you use them. So you have to buy them when you need them. But the suppliers have the same shelf-life problem too! So try to buy from someone who has a lot of turnover and an easy return policy, and try to avoid overstock/outdated product if you can identify it as such.

When you finally get lucky and get a good HP 41 cartidge create your own maintenance page with just a few lines of yellow, cyan, magenta, and black. Use "MS-Paint" or make a simple document using color fonts in "MS-WORD" or something along those lines. Then print it weekly to keep the nozzles cleaned out.
