Other waterproof paper products are more like Tyvek. Great for printing maps, nearly impossible to tear, etc. This product is more like regular copy paper but with a waterproof coating. It will run smoothly through your copier or laser printer (as long as it has a heated fuser). Also this paper will rip or tear like regular paper but it does repel water and will out last regular paper in humid or wet conditions.

Rite in the Rain paper is so great for printing maps to take on camping/hiking/fishing trips. So much more durable than regular paper and if you use a laser printer to print then the ink is more durable (water resistant) as well.
