I ordered this paper from the end tab on a previous ream of paper, same product number, name, weight, etc. but the paper that arrived was a totally different color from orders from different sellers. I was advised by another stationer that Mokawk, who owns Strathmore, is changing their product line, so perhaps they changed the "whiteness" of their paper as well. I had to send the paper back for a refund (less UPS charges, of course) and explain my "mistake" to my employer.

This paper is a nice weight and has a nice feel to it but it is not white. It is more of an ivory color so it did not work for me.

Quality of the paper is good, but I am disappointed with the color of the paper. It is not so white.. If you are looking for pure white paper this is not the right product...

HP 14D Tri-Color Ink Cartridge (C5010DN)

HP 14D Tri-Color Ink Cartridge
  • For HP CP1160 inkjet and for OfficeJet D135, D135xi, D155xi, and 7100 series
  • Also works with HP Digital Copier 610 and others
  • Tri-color cyan, magenta, and yellow ink
  • Acid-free formulation
  • 23 ml volume, 1 cartridge per box

This is the typical replacement color cartridge for some HP inkjet printers (like my OfficeJet 7100). The installation is easy, color is great, but it runs out very quickly. Compared to previous HP inkjet printers, this one last ~1/4 the time.

I bought this cartridge to use on my HP Deskjet d135. I had no indication that the cartridge had expired till it arrived with a FEB 2008 date on the box. the HP Deskjet d135 has a sensor in it that recognizes an expired cartridge. Be aware before you buy any expired cartridge, even if remanufactured.

I purchased printer ink as a business and expect QUICK effective service. Product was under packaged in a bubble pack and received damaged. Databazaar would not immediately ship out a replacement demanding I first send back the item before they would send the replacement. Unacceptable! Poor business practice! I will not purchase from again!! This puts me out of color printing for at least 2 weeks!!!

Canon PG210BK ink cartridge

Thank goodness the Third Party sellers are coming out with cheaper ink cartridges. I doubt they are OEM, but would be pleasantly surprised if they are.

Anyway I just installed a new PG-210 black ink cart. after the original one ran dry in about a month of owning my new MP-240 printer. Not a lot of printed pages but it''s history. Today I printed up some tax forms w/the replacement cart. and it''s already 1/3 down. The Color cart. is about 1/2 down. Such is life I guess.

Per Canon tech support, the Black XL sizes give you almost 100% more pages for about 40% more price, but decidedly less for Color XL:

>Below is the ink yield information for the PIXMA MP240 cartridges:

PG-210: 220 pages*1, CL-211: 244 pages *1

PG-210: 2760 pages*2, CL-211: 97 pages *2

PG-210XL: 401 pages*1, CL-211XL: 349 pages *1

PG-210XL: 5205 pages*2, CL-211XL: 144 pages *2

*1 Declared yield value in accordance with ISO/IEC 24711. Values

obtained by continuous printing

*2 When printing Canon standard patterns continuously with the default

settings of testing paper using Windows Vista printer driver in

borderless printing mode and Windows Vista Home Premium Photo Gallery.

The 210XL gives you 66% more ink (15ml vs 9ml). It also doesn''t cost much more. The only reason the regular 210 cartridge exists is so they can give you less than a full tank of ink when you buy the printer. Don''t fall for it, buy the bigger 210XL.

I feel that the cartridge went dry much too quickly, especially when you consider how much these things cost. But that is the deal, buy the printer for a reasonable price and get shafted on the cartridges. I guess this is why so many people simply buy cartridge ink refill kits and just refill the old cartridge. I think Canon would be wiser to make their own product more reasonably priced. I am sure they do market research and figure at what point they lose market share on refill kits. Having said all this, I am happy with the printer itself.

I am updating this review. I have now gone through one more of these cartridges. Someone said you are supposed to get about 220 pages out of it. I only print for school and have in my notebook all the pages I have ever printed out for the last cartridge save, at most, 5 pages. They don''t come anywhere near this number. I would say it is about 120-150 pages tops. Above I said I was happy with the printer. However, I am no longer happy with a company that thinks taking advantage of its customers is acceptable and therefore I am no longer happy with the printer. I would now tell you to not buy this printer and only buy refill kits if you already have one. I just bought one from Fry''s and it is working fine. Canon can take a flying leap.

Want Canon PG210BK ink cartridge Discount?

If you do your homework before buying the printer you will know that you can get a larger ink cartridge with 66% more ink for about 25% more in cost. Check it out. The number is PG-210XL.

I bought a new MX330 to use primarily as a scanner, and to print the occasional photo. I use a cheap Laser printer to print out everything else. You can buy a Brother or HP laser printer for the cost of a few sets of ink cartridge refills, so the price per page drops to about 2 cents. If I want to copy something, I scan it to a PDF, and then print it out on the laser.

How do you expect Canon (or anyone else) to sell an all-in-one for a hundred dollars and stay in business? King Gillette made his fortune by giving away the razor and selling the blades. Case closed.

This cartridge prints very nice pictures, but it doesn''t last long. Now I can''t find the cartridge anywhere. Kodak doesn''t even have them anymore. So now I am stuck with a printer dock that doesn''t print!!

AMAZON.com to the rescue!! But wait! What''s the price??? $99.00 DOLLARS!! Are you kidding me???

When it was available, I could buy it for $25.00 with a 100 pack of paper.

For this price, I can go to Best Buy or WalMart and buy a new wireless Printer/Fax/Scanner/Copier on sale. I guess they call it Progress for a reason. Goodbye my Kodak EasyShare G600 Printer Dock. It was nice while it lasted (which wasn''t long).

I am VERY dissappointed that AMAZON.com would be so ridiculous on such an item!

The first camera I can remember was an Eastman Kodak and the only thing I remember about it was the pull-out bellows, the 90 degree view finder and the great pictures it produced. Kodak still produces a good camera, but like the gas companies, the tobacco industry and the cocaine dealers, once they have you hooked, they rip you off.

Camera and printer dock still work fine, but Kodak has decided to stop producing the cartridges and paper and now whatever is available is three times as costly as originally. Even that would not be as distasteful as the fact that normal photo paper will not work with this printer. Way to go, Kodak. Another American icon down the drain.

I can''t believe what a ripoff from Kodak. Bought this camera for my mom and it only printed 5 photos. So I looked up the cartidge and found it to be very expensive. People would pay $50 for 50 pictures. I can get them printed for less somewhere else. I mean before digital cameras I surely wasn''t paying $50 for 50 pictures. Not even close!

My boyfriend and I were using this printer to send out mass amounts of letters for his company. It works fine and everything, except for the occasional paper jam which can be frustrating, but what was really frustrating is how much we were paying for ink. We were printing letters that were all in black lettering except for our email which was in blue. For some reason however all of our ink levels were going down like crazy and we weren''t even using those colors or should have been using very little. We would take the ink cartridges out and touch the sponge tip where the ink came out and it was still very much moist however the printer wouldn''t allow us to print if any of the cartridges were "empty".

I ended up doing a lot of research and even taking apart one of the ink cartridges. I found that there is a small chip attached to each cartridge that has a small amount of memory to keep track of how many pages are printed with that ink cartridge. Once it reaches a certain number of pages it claims it''s empty and needs to be replaced. When I found this out I was so frustrating since it wasn''t actually checking the levels or amount of ink remaining. So here I was paying for the ink but I couldn''t even use it all.

And there is no way to reset the chip and refill the cartridges yourself. It was such a waste of money. I guess most ink cartridges and printers use this kind of technology but some you can buy a chip re-setter and refill them yourself...which is what I plan on doing.

This thing is ok and mostly does what it says it will although the so called Smart Solutions are a pain to set up.

However my real issue with it is the HUGE cost of printing.

From the print out on the self test I have had it 253 days and printed only 138 pages. These were 99% simple text letters (perhaps one or two literally small photographs when I first bought it to see how it managed) The ink is now asking for the cartrides to be replaced. On the Lexmark website it is about £60 for a full set of high capacity refills. This means that it will be costing FORTY THREE PENCE per page of SIMPLE TEXT! according to my calculations.

I think this is just insupportable and am taking it back to Costco for a refund as I believe its basically a device designed to extort money out of its owners for ink. As others have said you cant refill the units as the chips dont appear to be resettable (although I have tried a few of the suggestions having googled the problem.

I will be going back to my Oki C3100 Colour laser for which 20,000 page refill set can be had on Amazon today for £80 which gives a per page price of 0.4p!!!! OK so maybe its ten times more (it wont be but lets suppose) it will still be 4p a page not FORTY!

Its a shame that the ink jet printer manufacturers (or many of them) appear to be acting as a cartel to extort the domestic customer in this way and perhaps the European Commission competition Czars will look into it?

I will email my euroMP and see what they have to say.

BE VERY CAREFULL WHEN BUYING INKJET PRINTERS in regards to the ACTUAL cost of printing not the idealised one suggested by the manufacturers.

I purchased this printer the other day to replace my Lexmark X74. The X74 printer still works perfectly (in WinXP), but will not work with the new Windows 7 OS. There is no new driver available for it. Lexmark has determined that the printer is too old and they will not develop a new printer driver for it. So, I was basically forced to upgrade my printer.

I really liked my old Lexmark so I decided to purchase another one. I did some research and settled on the S605. I liked the look of it and the wireless feature so I purchased it and took it home to set up on my wireless network.

I have to tell you that the installation went flawlessly. As mentioned in some of the reviews I read, that reading and following the directions made it go smoothly. In about 30 mins. I had all THREE of our computers setup and printing with this printer.

I gave this printer a 3 star rating due to it''s printer cartridges. I am a little disappointed that the cartridges can''t be refilled and are a little pricey. The cartridges (#100) have a chip installed in them that prevents the cartridges from being refilled. I''ve had my X74''s cartridges refilled in the past and they worked perfectly and cost a lot less than new cartridges. I only hope that I can at least get close to the number of pages printed, that Lexmark says I should get. Somehow, I don''t believe that''s going to happen. Probably will turn out like the estimated mpg your supposed to get on your new car time will tell.

There are some good things about this printer--all in one copying, scanning and printing. And the touch screen is a nice addition. But the one thing a printer should be able to do reliably is print a computer document. This machine has a fatal flaw--it won''t allow you to print if one of the 3 color or black ink cartridges are low. And since the cartridges don''t seem to have as much ink as other machines, this happens a lot, which is really frustrating if you don''t have multiple sets of the four cartridges on hand. And the worst part is the machine won''t even let you print in black and white when one of the color cartridges is low! And to put the icing on the cake, the company isn''t responsive to online ink orders--I''ve had an order on backlog for now over three weeks. This means that my printer hasn''t been functioning in three weeks. You as a prospective customer don''t deserve this frustration--hopefully this review will save you some!

Brand new S605 failed to install because one of the ink cartidges could not be "authenticated". I spent numerous hours trying to get it to work (since NEW products SHOULD WORK!). How can a Lexmark ink cartridge that was included with the Lexmark printer not be authentic? This is unacceptable! I called Lexmark, and they mentioned that this was a COMMON PROBLEM experienced by many users. Their solution was to send me a replacement ink cartidge. I asked for a rush delivery since it was THEIR fault. They said no, so I asked for an extra cartidge for my troubles. They said no. It has been over two weeks, and I have yet to receive any ink cartidge from Lexmark. So, now I have to spend money, gas, and time to drive to Staples and buy one myself. Thank You, Lexmark!

To summaraize, DO NOT BUY LEXMARK PRINTERS BECAUSE:

1. There is a good chance it will not come in working condition.

2. There is a good chance that the brand new Lexmark Ink Cartidges you buy will not be "authentic", and this will render your printer useless.

3. Lexmark Customer service is horrendous.

EDIT: I want to add another reason no one should buy any Lexmark printer. As mentioned in the other reviews, Lexmark has rigged their cartridges and printers to extract more money from the consumer. I have verified that the printer does not measure actual ink levels in the cartridges. I only print in black and white, yet the printer reads my color cartidges as empty and IT WON''T PRINT UNTIL I REPLACE THEM. Yes, you read it right. THE PRINTER WON''T PRINT IN BLACK IF YOUR COLOR CARTIDGES ARE EMPTY. I have 2 full black cartidges that are useless. I am throwing my printer in the trash and buying another because in the long-run, I will save money by not using Lexmark products.

Bought this printer from Staples three week ago.....We never had a laser printer

in the past....So we didn''t really know how it could perform....

Well, we are very happy with : color, tone, clear prints, wirless feature and price....

It was easy to assemble and it came with a an installation CD, however as an easyer option we were able to install the printer, on our desktop PC, with the USB cable alone (following the on screen instructions)....

We then installed the printer on the laptop PC using the CD since the laptop was in another room....

With the touchscreen, Wi-Fi can be turned on and the installed PC''s will operate

the printer wirelessly....

It has other Features, such as: HP top shot scanning, 3.5" touchscreen, web-connected app, HP ePrint, HP airPrint and wireless direct printing (prints from moble devices)....

This printer seems a bit slow on color and HD printing, but we are happy with it all....

Avery Sticker Paper (53203)

Avery Sticker Paper, 8.5 x 11 Inches, Clear, Pack of 3
  • Create personalized stickers of any size or shape on clear paper
  • Design and print stickers with names, dates, events, captions and photos
  • Vellum-like see-through stickers allow your background design to show through
  • Acid-free and lignin-free paper helps preserve memories

Avery Sticker Paper is definitely meant for scrap-booking. I purchased the three pack of 8.5" x 11" clear Avery Sticker Paper with the hopes of using it as address label paper for my wedding invitations. Simply put, it was not sticky enough. I ended up needing to scotch tape each printed label down. Granted, it was really nice to great my own sticker graphics and the CDROM of templates and backgrounds has come in handy. Overall, I give this product three stars. While it didn''t do exactly what I was looking for it to do, it came in handy and the templates were a great bonus.

The item description stated that this was a "clear sticker" which normally means transparent.I would change to translucent. The item you will be covering with the material will have a cloudy appearance and detail will be lost.

This paper is not actually clear. If used on a solid white surface, it is passable, but on anything from off-white and darker, you might as well just be using faded white sticker paper. As noted in other reviews, the stickiness of the paper is also poor. I was able to get it to stick, but after five minutes, it was already starting to peel up. This product is not as advertised and is a waste of money. The only positive thing I can say, is that printing from the inkjet printer was good no jamming, crisp lines, and no fading of color. But that doesn''t count for much if it isn''t actually useable as clear, sticky paper.
