I bought this printer based on reviews at ZDnet and News.com. They both claimed that this printer is the best thing since sliced bread, and I have to agree. I am a professional graphic designer. I use this printer to assist in making proofs for 11x17 posters and phone card designs. I have never seen photo quality this good on an inkjet. Photos on the 2000P look better than the output on my ALPS thermal wax printer, better than the hippopotamus-sized Tektronix at Kinkos, and better than the proofs I typically get when I send my QuarkXPress and Photoshop files to the print shop. One of the best features of this printer is its ability to print bleeds. I can print 11x17 right to the edge of the paper. The drawbacks... This printer is not for the amateur user. To get high quality output you really need to know what you are doing. You need to use the right kind of paper with the right print job. You need to understand the differences between the different print modes. You need to high quality source material (like 600dpi 32bit TIFF images). You need to read the manual. If you are taking pictures with a digital camera and you are expecting to plug in and get photo quality output right away, you are only going to be disappointed. Also, the printer is expensive to maintain (expect about $1.50/page when you factor in paper and inks), and very slow. I''ve found that it usually exceeds 5 minutes per page when printing photos. Of course, this printer is not designed for speed or ease of use, its designed to be an alternative to using a print shop for photo-quality proofs. Use it only as it was intended to be used, and you will cherish this printer.Read Best Reviews of Epson Stylus Photo 2000P Inkjet Printer Here
The quality of this printer is very good. However, the ink pigments behave strangely in different light...ie sun vs. indoor, so be prepared. Using a high end program like Photoshop is also a little complicated it is important to keep all color adjustments off and make sure that all the outputs to media match exactly the PS and Mac ColorSync specs. But once you have probably wasted 20 to 40 sheets of paper, and you''ve got it right, it''s really amazing. I have also had the best results with the semigloss paper, but it is difficult to come by in letter size.Want Epson Stylus Photo 2000P Inkjet Printer Discount?
I bought this printer to make prints of my original watercolor paintings at home. The quality is incredible. When the prints are printed on Epson''s watercolor paper, I can barely tell the difference between the original painting and the Epson print! The printer is expensive, but is paying for itself very quickly. You need to read the manual and use the right paper for each job, and you''ll be very happy with the results.Everyone who complains about this printer invariably doesn''t know how to use it. Herein lies the problem. This printer yeilds better results for professionals than it does for people like the "color shifts" guy (who obviously doesn''t know that a revision in Epson''s semi-gloss papers had taken care of the problem long before he wrote his "review").So, be careful to learn your craft, and this printer will give you absolutely outstanding results!

However, this latest shipment was a bit different from past ones. The card don''t separate well in the latest shipment; the perforations don''t seem deep enough. Also, one side is glossy/plastic and it peels where the perforations aren''t complete.
So, the last shipment is almost unacceptable. The prior were excellent. My rating of 2 stars is a compromise.

BUT, it couldn''t print photos! Every single one came out DARK and dingy. Looking online, this seems to be a common complaint with HP printers.
I took it back and debated whether to give it another try. Since Costco has a great return policy, I decided to risk buying a second of the same model. Why? Because I know a couple of years ago tests of photos printed with different inks showed that only HP inks were archival quality--in other words, photos printed on an HP printer should still look good 100 years from now. I don''t know if that is still true or not (since then, companies have started to compete on ink prices and that may have adversely affected quality.) If it is still true, it is a big selling point for me, along with all the things that made me like the first printer.
The second one works fine. The pictures look bright and nice. So, if you''re thinking of buying one, make sure it''s from a place where it is easy to return it.

I purchased this product from costco, it was $190 but I had a 51.00 coupon, so it cost $139.00. You have to pay the Taxes and an Eviro fee($8) on top of this.-I have had this printer for about two weeks and it has been great.
-I found this to install very easly. Just take your time when installing.
-I also found that printing pictures so far, are excellent compare to my last HP 4680.
-Printing documents is very good, my old HP 4680 would skip some information when printing.
-Eprint was easy.
-I find that this printer 7525, is no more noise than any other printer, do get me wrong the noise level is low.
-I did not set up the fax as I do not need it at this time.
-I love the touch display screen, its great.
-I like all the other options you can do just from the displays screens.
-The instructions that come with this 7525 printer, it''s states 7520, the instruction are the same so ignore the 7520 title, instuctions were good.
Thank You
No Complaints.

I also purchased this item from Costco for slightly over $100 with a coupon. It was very easy to install, including the network and e-print features. As a Grad student, I have to do A LOT of scanning so the feeder was a huge selling feature for me. I have scanned large stacks of documents without any issues (double sided, too!).Some of the negative reviews state the install drivers come with a lot of junk. Yes, it''s true. But when has an HP printer NOT come with all that stuff. I wasn''t surprised since it is a form of "marketing" that all printer companies use. If you don''t want the extra stuff on your computer DELETE it!
Added feature that I actually enjoy is the "apps" you can have on the printer. Ok, maybe I don''t need to have paper airplane templates at my finger tips but It sure is nice when you are trying to entertain siblings or are bored after writing twenty pages... ;-)
I gave a 4 star rating because, as other have mentioned, it is a pain to have to delete all the extra stuff. Also, it''s a little bit loud. But it may be that I have it on top of a metal filing cabinet and it "enhances" the sound!

First off, I purchased this printer elsewhere so my review is on the printer alone and not the sellers listed here. The printer is well worth the money spent.
I have a Mac with AirPort Extreme Base Station. I plugged in the printer to the power source (only thing plugged in, I have hooked up no other cables do not plan on using fax feature at this time).
Followed the quick guide (remove tape, plug in, install ink...) from there I followed the on-screen set up guide (install paper, install photo paper, set up account for emailing documents). Downloaded drivers via online instead of disc sent. Wala....easy peasy lemon squeezy. From there I have been playing with all the features.
Love how the paper and photo paper have their own trays that are inclosed to keep dust out. Great to be able to scan documents and email them. Nice double-sided printing. Finally able to print pictures and documents from my iPhone. Great that I can print a document from work through and email attachment.
Best printer I have owned in a long while.
Read other reviews against this printer. One mentioned loss of wireless connection, I have not had that problem. Check your router might be time to upgrade. Again, I only have power source plugged into printer. Ink cartridges supplied with printer....I for one expected it to be starter cartridges. I have printed a lot of pictures so far and double sided documents (not hundreds mind you) but my ink usage is minimal. Great onscreen feature you can press the inkdrop and it will print out a usage page showing levels. Don''t forget ink from inkjet cartridges evaporate over time (hate that about all brands of inkjet printers).
So far I have not found a negative to this printer. Will update my review if I do.(this printer is sold heavily at Costco warehouses)
1: Includes HP''s massive driver disk that installs a huge amount of unnecessary crap.
2: That driver disk, as a last step, checked online and determined it was out of date and downloaded ANOTHER 250 meg of drivers from HP
3: The wifi built-in randomly loses its connection for no known reason. I''ve returned this printer twice for replacement because I assumed I just got a defective one. Nope, they''re all crap. When it loses connectivity, you get a popup on your pc. The only workaround is to power the printer off & on and cross your fingers.
4: You MUST put the ink cartridges shipped with it into the printer or the drivers will NOT install. And these "setup" cartridges don''t have a full life of ink in them.
Online support is useless: "go through the wifi setup process again", "turn it off and on". They do make a point of actively soliciting you to provide positive feedback on their service though.
If HP would spend 1/4 the time they did on the b.s. control panel displays for downloading coupons and coloring books on making the networking reliable the world would be a better place and they would be a better company.

This is an awesome printer! Have had it for years and it has been flawless in its performance. I had HP printers prior to this that also worked perfectly for years, some for more than a decade. This is big, and heavy. I like that because it means it has some meat to it, unlike the majority of printers today that are so light they just seem to have nothing inside. The only reason I''m writing a review now is because I just bought a new computer which didn''t have the old printer output connection that I was using on the old computer. I thought I was going to have to get a new printer, but when I was searching Amazon for one I saw that they were still selling this printer, and noticed in the specs that it had a USB connector. I used that and it works as well as always, without that huge printer cable that I had been using. Reliable and indestructible. I also get about 10 times the number of pages from a printer cartridge than what the cartridge says I will get, although I only use the HP cartridges so I don''t know about other brands. All it does is print, but that''s what I wanted.Read Best Reviews of HP P3005D Laserjet Printer Here
After several attempts at purchasing less expensive home printers that were absurdly slow, loud and/or shaky, ineffective, or just didn''t work at all, I finally gave in and bought this printer, which is the same HP model used at my office. I have to print 60+ page documents on a regular basis and the P3005D does so very quickly and reliably. It prints quietly, holds a large supply of blank paper, and is compact enough not to require a desk of its own. While I didn''t want to spend this much for a home printer, I''ve found this one to be well worth the cost. Plus, I''m saving on paper -I had fish out about three crumbled, torn, and misfed sheets for every one printed on the HP Officejet J4680c I was previously using.Want HP P3005D Laserjet Printer Discount?
After a year and a half of medium use this thing will power on but not boot up. After extensive searching around the internet it seems like there are problems with the formatter boards on these printers. I called HP to see if anything is being done and we were told if we want a new board it will cost $199 for the board plus installation.I''ve used tons of HP printers and they usually hold up but this thing is a lemon & a pile of JUNK.A little more expensive than some... but you can''t be more HP compatible than an HP. Feeding is good, setup went smooth.

This cartridge produces beautiful photos, but don''t expect to get much out of it if you plan on printing big projects. I am printing on A4 paper (7x11 inch photo) using premium photo paper in normal mode with approximately 80% coverage (there is some text on the photo). I only got 12 copies before the "low ink" alert came on. I just about had a fit. I have to print a total of 100 copies, so the cost just for ink is going to be over $170.00. Now I wish I had just ordered the prints instead of printing them myself. Bummer.Read Best Reviews of HP 22 C9352AN#140 Tri-Color Ink Cartridge Here
The old cartridges had 45 ml...these have 5, yes Five ml of ink! For an equivalent amount of ink to the old ones, you''d spend about $168...No complaints about the quality of prints. However, this is going to be the last printer I ever get from them. HP 22 has only 5ml of ink! When I start printing 8x10s, I will get to about maybe 20 and I have to replace the cartridge. Yes, about 20! That''s almost a $1 per photo page just on ink. I have an HP 5600. I will wait for it to become obsolete and then never again. If you want to print black and white, fine, if you want color, dont bother.Prints Clear beautiful letters but after printing 60 pages of documents the printer notified me that I was running low on ink.thats horrible!!it appears you will be spending a great deal of money on cartridges if you use your printer regularly!!not good!!!!my only option is to use my printer wisely so I wont use up unnecessary ink!!blah!!Canon 3550B014 imageCLASS LBP6300dn Monochrome Laser Printer Save 78% off

The Canon LBP6300dn came very quickly from the vendor. Everything went picture perfect until I had an error message in installing the driver on my HP running XP. I am not sure exactly what was wrong, but I had no forewarning that my XP might be incompatible. I did coax it to print a few pages, but I had many fights. I uninstalled and re-installed it a couple of times. My ONLY COMPLAINT is that there was no live Canon tech to talk to to assist me, or at least commiserate with me. Anyhow, then my old HP running XP died! I purchased a complete new computer running Windows 7, and installed the printer. Now life is wonderful. I like the printer!Read Best Reviews of Canon 3550B014 imageCLASS LBP6300dn Monochrome Laser Printer Here
Over all not a bad printer and does what I want. I wanted a mono printer because I got tired of buying color ink and never using color. Found out that printer manufacturers lay down layers of color under the black supposedly to make the black look better. With the highly inflated price of ink I don''t need that. Prior to this printer I had a Canon Pixma that did a terrific job other than eating large quantities of ink. After 8 years with absolutely no problem the motor decided to self ignite. No fire just lots of smoke.Back to the new Canon printer. Talked to a lot of people looking for a mono printer that could print sheets of labels, Actually 2 labels to the page for USPS shipping with eBay. After having several vendors of printers including Canon tell me their printers would not work or they would not guarantee it to work with labels I took a shot at this Canon.
Like most things today, the instructions left a whole lot lacking. It only took about an hour with one of Canon''s great reps to get the thing working. After going through a long period of the machine telling me there was a paper jam and thanks to the Canon Rep. I found there was a hidden (not that easy to see) that had to be set to long paper. Since then all has been working well and I have printed off about 34 postage labels from the center front feed and several pages from the botom feed drawer. I have no problem with warm up or print speed with this Canon or problems with it running sheets of Post Office shipping labels.
If I had a complaint, it would be what I consider some useless doccumentation and the fact that the machine, like most things today, is built from cheap thin plastic. Does not inspire much faith that the machine will hold together very long. At any rate the price was okay and I expect the cartridge to last a long time.

I read many reviews and wanted a simple, reliable, networked (this is wired only!) and duplex capable laser printer. After a thorough time of researching I decided that this model Canon fit our needs and our space requirements. I did not require color or multi-printing type features. I have a separate photo printer with scanning capability; also a Canon. I have had little issues with my past Canon printers (used for 10+ years now) and feel I always get my $ worth our of them. I do find it questionable that this printer new with a new regular toner cartidge is is almost the same price as a genuine Canon replacement toner cartidge (high yeild) but maybe that is typical. I will try my luck on a refurbished OEM style toner Cart. when the time comes. We have the printer set to default to duplex saving us $ on paper and it is FAST. No complaints.....Thank you Canon! This is the 1st B&W Laser printer I have owned. I print alot of material for class journals & homework assignments year round. This Canon Laser printer is super fast. One of the features that I like is the duplex printing. The first day I received my printer, I printed a ream of paper, double sided. It saves time and money! I am connected via USB, so I have yet to connect to my wireless network, but my son assures me that if needed, it will work fine.

Many have been disappointed to find that HP has some packages with a smaller capacity ink cartridge and therefore not the value originally thought. This ad does not detail the ink in a cartridge capacity; check with the HP site to determine product specifications and compare with the capacity of buying an individual color cartridge versus the group package. Caution advised. (And seller including capacity of each cartridge) Note that black cartridge (usually larger) and color cartridges vary in capacity.

Good product but be very, very careful that you buy the five cartridge combo pack that does not include black. That is the one with the most ink in each cartridge. The combo pack that is sold as a photo combo, includes the black cartridge and 150 sheets of 4x6 photo paper has a lot less ink in them. I finally even spoke with a person at HP that confirmed it. I had to get a person in sales (USA) that could confirm it. Technical support and customer service online live chat (not USA) had no clue. The five cartridge combo box shows the volume of each color like the individual cartridges. The photo combo doesn''t list the individual volumes only that it is enough to print 150 photos.Buyer beware ...HP printers have always been the most convenient for me. We currently have a C6180 wireless printer and it works great, I just cannot believe how much ink we go through. Our old printer used 56 and 57 inks and we had to replace them much less frequently. These smaller color ink cartridges are a rip of in my opinion, they simply don''t last long enough for the price.
