HP Designjet T1300 44'' Large-Format Inkjet ePrinter
  • IPG: (ALL) Print Speed (imperial) 103 D prints per hour

I work for a general contracting company and we just replaced a 10 year old hp plotter with this with the intention to speed up the plan printing process for subcontractors. Sure, this plotter prints a bit faster and has nearly no down time between drawings but the fabric paper catcher is completely useless. It makes the prints pile together in tight rolls. Let me restate our purpose for purchasing a new plotter: To save time. It takes more time to sort out the small rolls of plan sheets and stack them together than the printer saved from just printing faster than our old one. Seriously, I don''t understand how this stood up in the testing phase of this product''s development. Now we have to rig something together to stack the sheets as they print. Such a tacky thing to add to an otherwise nice looking new machine. It''s very unfortunate and I am extremely displeased with this plotter.

Brother PC-Connectable Label Maker with Auto Cutter
  • Easy - Fast - Secure!
  • Easy to Use - No software installation required
  • Uses tapes up to 1" wide, laminated for indoor/outdoor use
  • Prints multiple lines of text and graphics
  • Uses AD-24 adapter (included) or 6 "AA" batteries (not included)

I got this product to replace my current Brother P-Touch Labeler, because I wanted something that I could create laminated labels with, but also be able to make them a bit snazzier than my current labeler allows. This product fits the bill, and then some!

With this label maker, you can hook it up to any PC, and print laminated labels. Let me make this clear though---you have to have a computer to hook the labeler up to, or it will not work. Hooking up the label maker is very easy, you simply use the USB cord that comes in the box and hook it up to the USB port on your computer. Once hooked up, and powered on, a built in software called "P-Touch Editor Lite" automatically comes up. It is very user friendly, and allows you to create your labels from your computer, and print them without having to install any additional software. The great thing about this, is that with this label maker you have access to a wide range of fonts, clip arts, and editing that you do not have on a regular label maker. But, the best feature of using a computer to generate your labels, is that you get to see what the labels are actually going to look like BEFORE you print them! At last no more wasted TZ tape!

Now, if you want to take your label making up another level you can install the additional software from the CD-ROM that comes with the labeler. Installing this software is totally optional, and not necessary, but just provides some additional features that the built in software does not have. This is where things got a little tricky for me, and why I would give this product 4.5 stars if I could. Installing the software was not as easy as I expected it to be. But I am going to tell you what I did wrong so you won''t make the same mistakes that I did!

The CD-ROM contains two applications that need to be installed--the editing software, and a driver for this editing software. After the editing software is installed, the CD-ROM will attempt to install the driver. This is where I got stuck--the driver would not install. But after browsing through the numerous pamphlets/manuals that come with this product I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong--but I wasted at least a half an hour trying to figure this out. Here is what you need to know: 1. Make sure you do not have the label maker plugged in to your computer or turned on--wait until the installation software asks you to do so. 2. Make sure that the "mode switch" on the bottom of the machine is turned to the "E" position.

As long as you follow those two bits of advice the driver will install properly, and you can be on your way to creating all kinds of labels. The reason I would take off half a star is because I wasted to much time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong--there should be a label on the CD-ROM envelope that says "WHEN INSTALLING SOFTWARE SWITCH MODE TO ''E'' & DO NOT PLUG IN/TURN ON MACHINE UNTIL ASKED". That would have saved me so much time!

With that being said, once I got the software installed (and as I mentioned earlier, the software is optional....it is just more advanced than the software that is already built into the labeler), I was very impressed. You can really do a lot with it--there are even two modes, "Express" and "Professional". There are just as many, and maybe even more, fonts as Microsoft Word, as well as many different symbols/clip arts/ frames that you can insert. You can also install add-ins for Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook that allow you to print your laminated labels from there. You can also insert photos that you have stored on your computer into the label! I especially love the ruler, which shows you precisely how long your label is going to be, so that you know how much tape you are using. There is also a neat feature called "Snap" which allows you to take screen clippings from your computer, and insert them into your label.

The label quality is excellent, and just what you would expect from Brother. As far as I can tell, this label maker accepts any type of labels that Brother makes (and they make A LOT of different kinds!)--even the 1" width labels. Fonts, and other symbols, etc, come out very clear. I inserted some photos and screen clippings to see how they would turn out, and they came out well---a bit grainy, but I was taking a large photo and fitting it onto a ½" label, so I did not expect that it would be the best quality. You can also have multiple lines of text, arrange the text direction, and do many other things with the installed software--you can even make barcodes! Other notable features--the product is actually more compact than I expected it to be from the picture, a clear window for viewing what type of tape that you have in the machine, accepts batteries AND has an AC adapter so you can plug it in ( a big plus!),is Energy Star rated, and seems to be made out of durable materials.

There is not much room for improvement with this labeler, but I would have a few minor suggestions for the manufacturer. First, I wish this product came with more than just one "sample" size TZ tape. It would be nice if there were more TZ tapes included and even possibly in various sizes or colors. Second, although this product is quite small, the portability of this product would be improved by adding a handle. Lastly---it would be nice if the labeler came with some type of pouch to store the label maker in, along with its AC adapter and USB Cord.

Otherwise though, great product for making quality, personalized, laminated labels! Definitely several steps up from what I had been using!

(Please check out my images of the actual output for text, JPEG, and screen capture.)

I''ve never owned a dedicated label maker before, but certainly have an appreciation for a good label. After running a few tests for an hour, here are my impressions of the PT-2430PC:

PROS

*Ease of use. No driver or software to install if you don''t want to. A small self-contained program is executed when you plug in the device to the USB port. I did not bother to use whatever extra software might be on the CD.

*The text output is legible enough. While jagged edges are definitely visible, it''s just a label maker and not a graphic design machine.

*Uses any True Type font installed on your computer, including whacky symbols!

*The quality of the labels are very good in regards to water resistance and peeling-and-re-sticking ability. I ran a printed label under a faucet for 15 seconds. There was absolutely no bleeding or damage to the base. The tape seems to be laminated and this gives it strength and durability. I was really surprised that the labels still stuck after I had thoroughly wet the adhesive (though I had to wipe off the water first). They also peeled off without leaving a residue and then easily re-adhered to the surface.

*Takes tapes of various width, up to 1-inch

*Works with AC or batteries (but it takes 6 AA!)

*In addition to text, you can print images and screen captures (but see the CONS section and the sample images I''ve posted)

CONS

*It is useless when untethered from a computer. A label will only print via a computer. It would have been great if there was a built in memory which could store a few labels which could be printed remotely. This is especially desirable since a good chunk of this thing is for holding 6 AA batteries.

*After a few minutes of inactivity, the self-contained software shuts off. You have to reset the label maker to execute the program again.

*It''s a bit too big for portability. It''s about the size of two stacked 3.5" hard drives. A lot of the extra space is due to the housing for the 6-AA batteries, which I plan to never use since it also works off an AC adapter. It would have been ideal if it could have been USB-powered.

*Every time a new label is printed, a 1-inch piece of unused tape is spat out. Considering that most labels I intend to make are 1-2 inches long, this is a very high proportion of waste.

*The labels, once the backing is peeled off, tend to curl and stick to themselves. It''s really only a problem if the label is longer than 2 inches. It also unsticks from itself without much damage if you''re careful.

*The ability to print images and screen capture is mostly novelty. The print resolution is so low that it looks very grainy like a super high ISO photo film.

*It seems rather expensive.

I''ve wanted a label maker forever, and when Amazon Vine offered this one for review, I was excited, but a little concerned that it had to be connected to a PC to work. I was afraid I would have trouble setting it up, but I plugged it in and within minutes I was printing labels. I couldn''t believe how easy it was to use because sometimes I can be electronically challenged. After playing with it for a while, I installed the P-Touch editor software on the CD-rom that is included with the label maker. While the basic software was sufficient for my use, the P-Touch editor software was fun to make really creative labels and even upload small pictures that I used on some. The 180 DPI print quality doesn''t make for detailed pictures, though.

Refills for the label maker come in a variety of colors and widths for various uses. The back is easy to peel off and the labels are laminated and high quality. The only complaint I have is that it wastes a bit of tape each time it prints, maybe about 3/4 of an inch that it just lops off and spits out.

It takes 6 AA batteries or you can use the A/C adaptor cord that comes with the label maker.

I''m very pleased with the unit and I''ve used it to organize my pantry shelves, and to label the fifty or so storage tubs in my attic. Next, I''m going to work on the kids'' closets!

Update: I''ve frequently run my labeled containers through my dishwasher and while I expected them to come off, they haven''t so far, and still look the same as the day I put them on.

This is great little machine. Many users have commented that the unit wastes an inch of tape with each print. This is true if you''re printing only one label. However, if you are printing a bunch of labels, enable "Chain Printing" and only the first inch will be lost. The Brother website offers instructions on how to do this, and I''ve posted their text below.

I tried the method with a dozen different text labels and the process worked like a charm!

These are the notes from their website:

Due to the construction of the tape mechanism, the one inch (25mm) piece of tape that is produced prior to every label cannot be eliminated. However, when you print more than one label at a time and select Chain Printing, the subsequent labels can be printed without the excess tape.

To select Chain Printing:

1. Input the text for the label.

2. Click on the pull down arrow menu next to the Print icon and select Print Options.

3. Select Auto Cut and Chain Printing in the Print Options dialog box.

4. Click Print; the machine will feed and cut off the one inch blank tape and prints the label. The label will remain in the machine until you print another label.

5. Create another label and click Print. The machine will feed and cut off the first label you have created. The second label will remain in the machine until you print another label.

6. Continue creating and printing the next label. When you finish printing all the labels, press the Cut button on top of the machine. The machine will feed out and cut off the last label.

Great labeler! I was using as 1230-PC for a long while, and this is just like it but comes with an AC adapter (yay!) and yes, it cuts the labels for you. The 1230''s "scissors not included" requirement was getting old, not mention having to boot up Windows just to print a label. All in all, the 2430 is proving to be a great unit so far.

For you fellow Mac folk: I found a driver for my Macbook Pro (running Lion), and it works fine. The packaging and included user guide only say Windows, but the Brother Japan site has a driver and the P-Touch Editor software (in English). You can''t use the built-in software, but so what? Who carries around a labeler the size of a trade paperback, plugging it into random computers?

The Mac printer driver file can be downloaded at http://d.pr/erul or if that doesn''t work use

The P-Touch Editor for Mac can be downloaded at http://d.pr/EnaD or if that doesn''t work use

Good luck!

I thought I was buying from Amazon, but it ended up shipped from one of their market partner. The cartridges is not in its original box and both packaging are cracked. They look like factory rejects. HP has big problems with cartridges and Support of their ink cartridges. I have had 3 cartridges from 2 sets that would not be accepted by the printer. This happens when the electronic chip or its programing is defective or is damaged in transit. This is not terribly unusual but 3 in the same week is. All were within 30 days of purchase and all were sealed until they were installed and refused to print. New replacements did work.

The real problem comes when you try to get them replaced under warranty. There is no clear way to contact HP. You need to go to the support section and report it as a problem, Then you get a reply asking you to do several things and print a report which can not be printed with a defective cartridge and scan it and send it to them. Failing that they want 13 separate pieces of information most of which are not printed on the cartridge. Then you get a reply that says it will be replaced but you need to fill out another set of questions and give them the serial number of your printer. This is a lot to expect of a consumer who has done nothing more than buy a printer cartridge.

So far the single pack cartridges are OK. Stick with them or avoid HP altogether.

I only use original HP 02 ink cartridges on my HP Photosmart all-in-one printer. It is the best quality of ink. I received my order in 4 days and I consider that to be very quick. When I know my ink cartridges are running low, I reorder so I will have a new cartridge ready to go and I don''t have to buy it retail which is much more expensive than online.

So, you can only get so excited about about printer ink, but I will say that I can''t believe I have not been ordering ink from Amazon all these years. I typically trek out to BBuy for ink. No more. This 2-pack was cheaper, on my doorstep in 2 days, and I didn''t even need to get up. Awesome.

Xerox Phaser 6500N Laser Printer-Color-600x600dpi Print-Plain Paper

Xerox Phaser 6500N Laser Printer-Color-600x600dpi Print-Plain Paper Print-Desktop-24ppm Mono/24ppm Color Print-250 sheets Input-LCD-Gigabit Ethernet-USBI like this printer. It is replacing a Laser Jet 2600n that is showing its 7 or 8 year age. The printing is great. The price was good ( caveat I haven''t had it long enough to buy toner which can be pricey ). However, ...

The setup process is awkward and not helped by the fact that the only documentation you get in the box is a large ( 19 inch x 25 inch ), multilingual ( 15 EU language ) two sided sheet of paper with diagrams that can be difficult to interpret. There simply isn''t enough text there to clarify what some of the diagrams are trying to tell me. Since I make my living supporting complex software on UNIX and Windows I have lots of experience with interpreting software manuals. Diagrams and hardware however are not my strong point. There are 12 short sentences to give you an idea of what these diagrams are intended to represent. After a lot of comparing diagram to printer, trying to figure out how to open some of the component or get at some of the ports, I was eventually successful. A bit more text and a bit less white space would have simplified this process significantly.

The print output is great. The text is crisp, clean and very true to the fonts that I have run through the printer. The graphics are spectacular. I printed a picture taken on my Panasonic Lumix FZ-40 on a regular sheet of paper. The color match was impressive. It looked more like a professionally developed photo than something printed on regular paper with a laser printer. I did not specifically measure the time taken to print either text or graphics. Text seemed satisfactorily fast and the graphics time was better than the LaserJet 2600n.

The bottom line is that this printer gives impressive performance at a bargain price. If the installation process were better documented, I would rate this at 5 stars. If that is not an impediment for you, consider it a 5 star printer. However, keep in mind that I have not attempted to buy supplies. You are looking at mail order since your average local store is not going to carry toner for your Xerox Phaser 6500N.

Be careful that you get what you order. I ordered a Canon E20 cartridge from Amazon.com but ordered it from ANTOnline rather than Amazon (who didn''t have it in stock). I was careful to read the description that I was ordering a Canon-brand cartridge and not a 3rd-party replacement. ANTOnline shipped an inferior replacement-brand cartridge. ANTOnline did not respond when I contacted them. Amazon.com originally denied my claim that ANTOnline shipped the wrong item. I appealed by telephone and Amazon refunded my money.

Even the box that had 4 reams in it with the manufacturer''s logo all over the box; each ream was trashed on the inside. The paper is all still usable, but how hard is it to either package this stuff better or improve the quality of the wrapper? It makes it very difficult to store the reams when they are falling out of their wrapper.

I wouldn''t say this is great paper, but very good paper. It is bright white, fairly heavy and sturdy and has a medium smooth surface. I was hoping after looking at the online information at the Domtar site that the surface would be very smooth as they list it as having a smoothness of 60, which is a very low number. The main problem was the paper cover containing the ream was torn very badly and wasn''t even protecting the paper. There were pieces of tape on tears in the paper cover, which held up, so it seems the ream had been damaged but was sold as new. I reported the problem and asked for a $5 partial refund. The $5 was refunded and most of the paper is usable. I also asked that information regarding selling damaged goods on Amazon was passed along so that this wouldn''t happen again. About 10 sheets on one side of the ream had a knife cut in the center and many have damaged corners.

HP LaserJet 2300n Printer

HP LaserJet 2300n Printer
  • Up to 25 ppm
  • 1,200 x 1,200 dpi maximum resolution
  • 266 MHz internal processor, 40 MB RAM, expandable to 304 MB
  • Internal Fast Ethernet print server
  • USB and parallel interfaces; PC and Mac compatible

I''ve had my HP 2300n LaserJet printer for 8 months, and I''m very satisfied with it. It''s my second HP LaserJet. My first was a LaserJet IIID which I bought in 1992 and still use today. I wouldn''t have bought the 2300n except that some movers handled my IIID roughly and damaged the duplexing unit which I had been using almost constantly. It really saves paper and file space to print on both sides.

When not in use, the 2300n goes into a power-down mode which is silent and makes it seem to be turned off except that an indicator light lets you know it''s still on. Send a print job to it while powered down and it immediately springs to life and processes the task just as if it had not been powered down at all. This is a great feature because the machine does not wear itself out whirring away, making noise and using energy as the IIID does when not turned off.

The 2300n is fast. The IIID''s speed of 8ppm was considered fast when I bought it, but after getting used to 25ppm, I''d hate to give it up. The 2300n prints at a pace I associate more with photocopiers.

My IIID had excellent print quality until last year, about 11 years after I bought it. The output has become dirty. It needs cleaning and servicing, but that''s not practical now, especially considering that I live far from a service center and my 12 year-old IIID printer weighs 75 pounds.

By comparison, the thirty-one pound 2300n is much easier to lift and move. I also like the fact that it takes up much less space than the IIID does, and it doesn''t have those paper trays protruding out of it. The paper is nicely tucked away inside, where it should be, in an easy to open drawer. To accomplish this, the machine is intelligently designed to be slightly taller which is not a problem at all, just a better use of space.

The IIID has only 300 dpi resolution which is fine for text, but not so fine for graphics. The 2300n prints beautiful graphics, not in color, of course, but when I want color, I use an inkjet. When I want to print a picture with the 2300n, the high resolution is very nice.

I''m still using the toner cartridge that came with the shipped unit, but I keep a spare cartridge on hand. A great feature of the 2300n is the economical printing mode. I can easily turn this feature on and off (from within the Windows XP printing menu) and make my toner supply last longer. Unlike with the IIID, which also has an adjustment for toner consumption, with the 2300n, the econo-mode feature takes effect immediately. It makes the print lighter, but it''s still quite readable and appropriate for those times when dark print quality is not needed.

Whenever I think of my HP 2300n LaserJet, I always get a nice feeling. I can''t think of anything I don''t like about it. It takes up little space, It''s fast, It duplexes, It''s economical with time, energy and toner, It''s quiet, It networks, It has wireless capability, It''s plug and play, It has an easy to use control panel on the front, and I feel confident that it will perform whenever I call on it.

I''ve come to trust the Hewlett Packard name for quality and performance. I teach English at a university in Japan where I write and print a lot of educational materials. Sometimes I make workbooks and print them in my office. I need a workhorse of a printer I can depend on to produce clean clear results. If my 2300n holds up only half as well as my old IIID did, I''ll still be very satisfied.

This item was so well packaged that it took two of us to remove from box, a plus for protection. Instructions were easy to understand and setup was a breeze on my mac. Very quiet, prints fast, and very configurable . Two paper trays make adding paper less of a worry now. This unit can handle up to legal size and ledger size paper with ease, but also handles 4x6 photo paper and envelopes with no problems.

Touchscreen is very responsive and connecting via wireless was so easy. Photos are printed and look good, but you will want to tweak the settings for optimal end results.

Software is great and integrates in a mac well. I tried the software on my friends PC and again, easy and simple. The back of the unit has a manual feed for 1 sheet at a time and all paper sizes can be used.

I have read people saying the trays were weak, but I do not find that issue at all. This is built much better than any Epson, HP, or Canon I have owed. A plus is how sharp and attractive it looks on your desktop. Airprint via iphone or android is a piece of cake and works well. I am finding it does not eat ink and if you feel you need to re-allign the heads or clean the print heads that process is finishes in record time. I have mine set to sleep after 1 hour and I never hear any noise coming from my printer. Buy this excellent printer and enjoy more desktop space and ease of operation. Kudos to you Brother!

No complaints worked perfectly well in my Epson NX420. It''s ink, so there isn''t really any need to elaborate here.

These come without any retail packaging and certainly in any case they are not sold the way that Epson sells them. Epson''s retail package is a box with an expiration date and inside their are individually wrapped four cartridges. (if I recall correctly, all of these are then shrinkwrapped together in an outer wrapper). In contrast, this shipment arrived in a plastic bag with a single shrinkwrapped wrapper containing four cartridges that were themselves unwrapped (no individual shrinkwrapping on each cartridge).

We''ll see...but when nearly 1/4 of the reviews are complaints about how one or more of the cartridges was non functional, then I have to believe there is an issue, because Epson product quality is far better than that.

Someone suggested that these could be refurbs/refills. Its certainly a possibility but one I wouldn''t really know how to rule out. I am not sure how else to account for the fact that they are not in original packaging.

It would be nice to hear the explanation from the seller and see if it makes any sense. Otherwise, I''m dubious on what these even really are.

  • Subtle grey tonality
  • High contrast with deep, rich blacks
  • Detailed shadows and highlights
  • High maximum paper weights
  • Brilliant colours with dye and pigmented ink

this paper will produce outstanding results for printing from black and white photo files. There is a special coating on this paper that gives the picture a slight bronze cast that resembles results from older wet tank darkrooms. the paper has a slight sheen to it and I use a satin or luster finish paper selections in the printer menu. There are a limited number of custom icc profiles that can be downloaded from inkpress for both Epson and HP printers. I especially like this paper for architectural subjects

the cp-10 and cp-100 printers and photos are wonderful.

Even the pro photographers are impressed with the print quality.

Good product. Photos printed on this paper look much more like a professional print. Epson papers have also always been good for me, but I haven''t found Satin Finish pre-cut papers from Epson in the size and price I desire.

I purchased the 2015d directly from HP. The automatic (vs. manual) duplex function was my main purchase criteria, thus the choice of the 2015d rather than the 2015. Specs at the HP site stated that the 2015d is "certified for Windows Vista" and is "Windows Vista ready". These statements are misleading: Vista does not support the automatic duplex function of this printer. After many hours of effort, I called HP tech support and they confirmed/shared this info post-purchase.

This printer works like a champ printing via AirPort Express from my Macs. (I didn''t have the same luck with the HP LaserJet 1022 I recently purchased and returned.) This printer is very fast compared to my older LaserJet 1200, and the duplex feature works nicely and is a great paper saver. Installing the drivers on my Mac was a breeze, unlike my experience with the 1022.

UPDATE JAN 2009: Unfortunately, I have to second A. Richards''s review below.

After having worked flawlessly for 19 months, this printer stopped working properly. Sometimes it displays the paper jam and toner warning lights and won''t print, even when there''s no jam and plenty of toner; sometimes it prints one job successfully after restarting it, only to stop working after that; sometimes it prints only one page of a multi-page job; sometimes *no* LEDs are lit even when the power is on; sometimes it shows up as "offline" on my Mac (OS X 10.5.6) even when connected directly to my USB port and its power is on.

Called HP Tech Support and spoke with a technician who troubleshot with me and told me this was a problem with the formatter board, and that is was a known issue. He said it affected 10-20% (!) of all P2015''s, but that, since my printer is out of warranty, HP would charge me $260 (incl. shipping) to repair it. (For what it''s worth, he said the P2035 and P2055 are "excellent printers" and that only "1-2%" are sent back for servicing.)

Be wary of this printer. I didn''t expect to have to buy a replacement printer so soon.

This is an excellent 2-sided personal laser printer. The cube-shape is tall, but takes up no more desk space than HP''s earlier personal printers. No paper trays stick out. I particularly like the 6 idiot lights that clearly show what''s gone wrong (paper jam, out of ink, etc). The old models would simply blink one light and leave you to decipher the meaning.

I could not resist the price of the 2015d despite the negative reviews considering the Vista compatibility. I received the printer from Amazon yesterday and 30 minutes after calling HP support, it was working great. The CD does not work on Vista, so if you have that don''t even try to use it. Two drivers have to be downloaded from the HP site. The HP tech was very easy to understand and very helpful. In order to use the duplex feature, 2 sided printing must be set in printer preferences. It would be nice if that were automatic but for a final cost of $198, I can live with that. The manual also needs to be downloaded from the HP site. I replaced my HP 1200 with the printer and appreciate the added features. I would highly recommend ordering the additional paper tray as the one that comes with the computer only holds 50 sheets.

This product has fully functional drivers for XP x86 (32-bit), XP x64, Vista x86 and Vista x64. While most 2-3 year old HP LaserJets are getting ''updated'' driver packages, most of them are supported via the ''Universal'' print driver a package which creates serious problems in networked situations due to a poor deployment interface.

I have this printer attached to an HP JetDirect USB 2.0 print server, which is working well. It''s spooled from a Windows 2003 R2 x64 server, serving XP (x86 and x64) clients, as well as Vista (x86 and x64) clients.

The unit is fast, the UI (buttons, indicator lights, etc.) is excellent. I haven''t had any hardware problems (paper jams, flimsy construction, etc.)

Only complaint: The x86 XP and Vista driver component appears to randomly switch to 2 pages side-by-side mode, printing out 2 pages at 50% size on letter paper. This appears to happen somewhere at the print server/queue but no changes have been made.

The paper input tray for envelopes is different from the HP LaserJet 1320 (the P2015''s predecessor) and does not ''open'' all the way down to a flat surface. Nonetheless, it is an improvement from the loader ''slot'' that the 1320 had.

All in all... I''d do it again. Keep your eyes peeled for an updated driver, though, in network environments.

If you use a lot of sheet media you will be miserable! Difficult to load and very very slow once you jump through all the hoops. Print driver software very unfriendly. If I had not gotten a killer deal on this I would gone back to Epson printers.

The print quality is outstanding and is thrifty on ink. Printing on roll media works well. No issues with ink clogging, but replaced the red ink print head once under warranty.

HP service center called and worked with me for two weeks replacing parts and uploading software to fix my printer. Thanks Cesar from HP

I''m spending another hour trying to load paper into my HP printer, every day it rejects the paper loaded. The process of reloading takes an hour because the printer continues to reject paper rolls. Sheet loaded media is worse. I can''t believe HP would sell a product that doesn''t work. My frustration with this printer runs so deep I will never buy another HP product of any kind.
