I was so very happy to find this product for my homemade greeting cards. I had used it for years, not knowing that the company stopped making it. At least now I will have some more greeting card paper for future card making. Will I be able to purchase more of this from you in the future?

THIS WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU WERE SENDING A PHOTO CARD. BUT FOR JUST THE AVERAGE CARD IT IS TO SHINY. I WANTED TO USE THIS FOR BIRTHDAY CARDS BUT AFTER OPENING THE PACKAGE AND PRINTING A CARD IT DIDN''T GIVE ME THE PRODUCT I WANTED. PLUS YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR EVER FOR THE INK TO DRY. BUT NOW I HAVE SOME PHOTO PAPER.

These tattoos are stick on labels but with great technology. You make a picture label, including text, and then print it on your tattoo. A template is included. Printing is done backwards because you are printing on the underside of the tattoo. Than the tattoo is stuck to your disc using the sticky edges around the center hole of the disc and around the outer edge. The result is beautiful, a shiny translucent plastic label that looks close to printing on the disc and silk screening is expensive. I have a "LightScribe" but that takes a long time to label the disc and I don''t think the results are near as nice as these tattoos.

Colors were dark and not vibrant. Labels did not stick well, only on edges. Used one and was dissappointed. I''ll stick with regular white cd/dvd labels from Avery. Colors stay true.

Tattoos don''t come off. That''s what the word -means-. These so called

labels have a TINY ring of adhesive on the inner and outer edge and nothing

at all in between. They''ll come right off again if you breathe on them wrong.

And that''s IF you can get them to print correctly at all, since the template isn''t anywhere on hp.com

I need a new machine to replace one that was giving me problems. When I checked a repaire shop about it, I was told that it would probably cost as much to fix as replace. So the option to replace it was sought. Amazon had the replacement and it does the job.

I was looking for a Panasonic Kx-P1150, but after hours of searching I never found it or found way too expensive ones.

The printer works great, it didn''t have the same problem as the Kx-P1150 had with the drivers (which took me hours to find)

It''s fast and doesn''t weight a lot!

I would recommend this item!

Hewlett Packard PS7520 Wireless Color Photo Printer

Hewlett Packard PS7520 Wireless Color Photo Printer with Scanner, Copier and Fax
  • Print from your smartphone or tablet from virtually anywhere
  • Easily produce lab-quality photos, documents and Web content using a 4.33" color touchscreen
  • Automatic 2-sided printing and 25-sheet automatic document feeder

I bought this to replace an HP Envy 114 that looked good but just didn''t deliver in the functionality department. This printer provides fast, high quality documents and photos. The ink is reasonably priced and the colors come in individual cartridges, so I won''t have to throw away a partially used cartridge just because one color is out. With the 7520 you really can fax without the need to subscribe to a special service. It holds a reasonable amount of paper and it''s very easy to adjust the paper tray to print envelopes. This printer may not be as pretty as the Envy, but it''s a great, functional, all-in-one printer and that''s what I wanted.

I had a problem getting this printer to work. So, I called the customer service center, I was transfered to India! I was on the phone with them for more than three hours! (until the phone went dead!) They were hard to understand, sorry, and did not help at all! I finally got it to work, on my own! And the printer is great! Just wish I could say the same thing about the customer service! I just think that if we spend this much on a printer, and need help, we should be able to speak to someone that understands us, and that we can understand as well. And I TOTALLY DO NOT mean to offend anyone, this was just my experence!

I had a slightly older model than this one and was happy enough but had a it few issues that made me unhappy. I figured I''d take a chance on the HP PS7520 and so far, I am thrilled. It was easy for me to set up and easy to operate. I especially love the quality of the photos that it prints. Has some good options to use. I would recommend this to anyone.

My last 2 printers were HP.

The one I am replacing had a print head go bad (After 3.5 years) after I put brand new full ink into my HP C6380. Ink is expensive for these HP printers. So I bought the newest model 7520 HP printer with the exact same ink that I had already opened. Figured, at least I would not waste $89 in ink.

Why did I put new ink into a bad printer you may ask? Well I went to the HP web site and followed the trouble shooting for the error code I was getting. You have to love the HP trouble shooting, they say open new ink and put it in the printer as part of the efforts when the real issue was that the "print head" is broken. The good news is you can order a print head for about $26 on Amazon, of course school papers can''t wait for it to be shipped so I got this unit at staples.

Just went for the only model available with the exact same ink since I had $89+ in ink ready to go. Plus this printer has the exact same print head as my old C6380. The first thing I did was put the new print head in my old printer and it solved the problem, this proves the print head was bad. So now I can order one and have a new back up printer as my old back up printer long ago ran out of ink and I don''t think that type of ink is available any more.

Anyway, here is why I took one star. This new printer forces me to use the starter print cartridges that came with it. You ask me this is major fail. I mean this is the sole reason I got this printer so I can use the $89 in ink I already had open, before it dries up. If I wanted to waste $89 in ink I would have choosen another product. Ink used to be ink, I never heard of starter cartridges required to even use a new printer. This is fine if you are going to a new ink, but as a replacement forget it. Anyway, I am just trying to store the ink so it will not dry up before I need it.

Ok, so what is new from my old HP C6380. Well this unit has FAX which I have not set up and used. it has a new sheet feeder. Good for large documents. It prints just as well as the old unit, using same ink and print head so quality is about equal.

As for networking, I always had tons of problems with my old HP C6380. First they did not have any drives available with Windows 7 was in Beta, and so I was without a printer on my primary PC for months. And when the drivers came out the old HP C6380 always had one network issue after another. This product continues a few of them for example starting you out with a dynamic IP address instead of static one. At least this product had a utility to update the IP address, so that is an improvement. Knowing the past issues however, I went straight to a static IP. Other advantages in this area is print by email, so if the printer has networking issues family can still print till I get home to solve network issues. It also has a new feature called Wireless Connect. So I have set up a back up for when the network is not playing nice.

So far I have printed from every PC as well as from my Samsung Galaxy S3 with positive results. The unit wakes up faster than my old unit, and prints faster too. I like how the paper is enclosed, might keep the keeps from grabbing so much scrap paper from the new paper.

The interface is not like a touch screen, gone is all the buttons. The controls are just as easy to control. But a new feature is all the applications. You can subscribe to get cartoon, recipes, coloring pages, kids activities etc... Have not tried them all, but the kids only button will print out a new activity each day allowing you to use up more ink then you ever did before. From their view it is a great idea, but if like me you watch the ink most apps will be useless. Personally I wish they did not waste so much screen space for these applications. The screen is larger than my iPod, and looks about the size of my S3. It is interesting, makes me wonder what can be done in the future. But for now this means ample space for controls etc...

On the side of the large screen are 3 permanent controls for home, back and help. Not all the controls in the sub menus (of the settings) look as nice as the top menu''s, just gray bars. But it is easy to use and do things like change the printers IP address. A lot of the most used menu stuff does look good with large icons for the devices, or places you want a file to go. Also, viewing and printing from the printer is better than ever with the large screen. Not only can you preview but it is easy to edit simple things like crop, contrast, etc..

As for the scanning, it was a web scan interface, it has a button to scan on the printer and an icon. I cannot get the desktop scan icon to work, says device not found. Will need to work on that. I found the scan feature of the printer is the best. Scan to file, scan to USB, scan to camera memory etc... But I liked the scan to email feature the best. As half the time, I am scanning to sent to someone anyway, so this way all I have to do if forward it. I found this to be my favorite improvement.

Anyway, this is a deep printer with more controls than ever, in time I may try some other. But for now I got the important stuff up and running. I do like how I now have multiple ways to do stuff. PC based, printer based, web based, or on my Android. I can pick and choose how I wish to work. After having 3 HP printers, things have come a long way since my old HP 930 that was nothing but a dedicated printer. The HP C6380 moved things forward by being my first all in one unit, a unit that almost never jammed paper unlike my old 930. Since the innards look very similar, I expect this to almost never jam as well, although it does add a new duplex feature that hangs off the back side of the 7520.

The 7520 brings a ton of new features forward, it will take weeks for me to test a lot of these features as I did limited testing to save ink, but this new 7520 makes it easier then ever to print and provides many, many more ways to print. But the all the new feature in this unit should meet my college student wife, and multiple children''s various printer needs well into the future.

I was very disappointed in my experience, because this printer seemed to have a nice combination of features and price. I really wish it had worked.

When I received this product, it was dead on arrival. The product continually displayed "Paper Jam" errors, during its setup. This, even when no paper or paper fragments were in the printer or duplexer.

I suspect the problem is caused by the cheap plastic duplexer that mates poorly with the rear of the printer. Technical support was also unable to resolve or diganose the problem.

Between trying to get this printer working, and then trying to return it, I wasted about 5 hours of my day. The customer service for HP direct (where I purchased it) is horrendous. If you buy this thing, buy from someone else.

If you do make the mistake of buying from them, use the live chat buried on their web site. After 3 hours, and multiple phone transfers, I hung up the phone without ever reaching someone who could help me return the defective printer.

At that point, I was prepared to eat the cost of the printer, rather than suffer further frustration. Instead, I made a last ditch effort with live chat, which took another 40 minutes, but was ultimately successful.

Beware. The item listing for this and some of the other Wausau card stock paper says it''s 500 count, but if you read the description or check the item number with other vendors, this item is in fact only 250 sheets of paper instead of 500. Databazaar shipped me the item, but failed to put any packing materials in the box to keep the cartridge from banging around in the large box during shipping. Not that it needed much, but I figured the huge letters stating "FRAGILE" across the top of the cartridge box would give a hint that maybe a bit of packing material may be warranted here. They are not saving any money by shipping fragile items this way.

Onto the product itself...

The prints are perfect, and I would put good money on it that no one could tell the difference between the prints from this cartridge and one that came from HP. And do they really come from HP? I mean, it''s not like HP owns the facility that creates the cartridge; they simply contract it out to places that make other cartridges. So, it is very likely that some of these third-party cartridges have once (or do) manufacture HP cartridges.

The markings on this cartridge match up exactly with the markings on the HP cartridge I pulled out of the printer. Not a copy of the cartridge shell, but perfect stampings. So, I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that it is the same manufacturer for HP cartridges. Or, they get their shells from the HP manufacturer. Either way, it is almost indistinguishable from the original HP, and in almost every way.

The chip says "RECHARGE O8NON-HP12" on it. It reset the counter and the low toner light turned off on my 1320.

The paper sleeve that protects the drum during shipping is really cheap and came apart in pieces rather than just puling out in one piece. For those that gorilla grip everything and have no patience, you may want to take it easy lest you want pieces of protection paper in the drum.

The cartridge is surrounded by an AirPac pillow bag and a thick, puncture-proof, silver bag. No recycle bag or even documentation on recycling.

The cartridge-specific label on the outside of the box says "Made in China" and the generic "Premium Laser Cartridge" box is printed with "Toner made in Japan". Hmmm, which is it? Doesn''t matter to me, but to some country-of-origin-sensitive people this could pose a problem.

That''s all. It works, and works well. I can easily recommend this product for use in your HP LaserJet 1320.

These cartridges deliver inconsistent results.

Bought 3 of these cartridges in may. Print quality was mediocre on the first 2 cartridges. The second cartridge lasted shorter compared to the first (with around the same printout load). Print quality of the third cartridge is BAD. The pages come out with black lines. Totally unacceptable if you need to send out a letter.

Cartridge worked fine for about 100 pages, then fell apart. The pin that holds the drum in the cartridge fell out and the drum shifted rendering the printer unusable and jamming the cartridge inside. It took 15 minutes of wiggling and turning the printer to different angles to finally get the cartridge out and even then it came out in pieces.

I am a computer tech certified on HP products and usually have good luck with remanufactured cartridges but this one is simply not worth it.

I received the product ok, but when I put it in my printer--the machine did not recognize it. (I am just sorry that they don''t have a zero stars category.) Other than this, I have had great experiences with Amazon.

Canon i850 Photo Printer

Canon i850 Photo Printer
  • Up to 4,800 by 1,200 dpi color, 600 x 600 dpi black
  • Prints up to 22 ppm black, 14 ppm color, 4-by-6-inch photo in just 48 seconds
  • Microscopic 2-picoliter droplets
  • 4 individually replaceable ink tanks
  • Photo lightfast technology helps photos last approximately 25 years

Bottomline:

If you want a photo printer go with the i950

If you want a great all-round printer go with the i850.

I owned both the i850 and i950, with the i850 first. The i850 is an great all-round printer printing fast text and photos. Using the Canon photo paper images look great, but simply lack the detail the i950 can provide with 6 inks and almost twice the nozzles and special photo inks. The extra nozzles not only make printing faster (at least for photos) but allow for more detail.

On a picture, printed from Photoshop 6.0, that contained lots of details and color, but specifically a tree with multi-colored (shades) of bark on the i850 the tree looked good with good detail, but on the i950 the tree came to life, was sharper, with more tree/bark detail and color variations becoming visible. There was no question, the i950 was better, noticably for photos.

On mixed media (web page with graphics) the i950 and i850 were the same, but for some reason, the i850 was noticably faster. You get a larger black-ink cartridge w/ the i850 presumably favoring its intended role as a excellent all-round printer.

If price is an issue, the i850 is the printer for you ... If photo quality is the most important, then the i950 is for you ... Can''t make up your mind? Go with the i950, the extra money is worth the results.

The i850 produces the best photo prints I''ve ever seen from an inkjet. I looked at the HP 7350 and a few from Epson because I''ve never owned a printer from any other manufacturer. When I started to read the reviews about this printer, I decided to check one out in person. I was immediately impressed by the quietness and speed -and WOW, the finished print -I couldn''t find any flaws. I thought my HP 970 printed great photos but the Canon blows it away. I''ll keep the HP because it still is a great all-around printer and I''ve only had it for a 2 yrs. Inkjet technology has made some great advances the past few years! And Mac users, this is a great printer because it works perfectly with OS 10.2 Jaguar -including borderless prints. Just download the current drivers from Canon''s web site. This is a fantastic printer for the price. A side note, one reason I decided to go with this Canon printer is because I''ve been very pleased with their scanners too. I have the N1240 and it produces great color tones with all my photo scanning. I highly recommend the i850 printer.

I purchased this printer 2 months ago and have found the perfect home printer. The main reason I was in the market was the high cost of "color" inkjet cartridges that I went through like candy in my old Canon and HP printers. I did my research and I wanted a printer that had separate color tanks so that if I ran out of cyan ink I wouldn''t have to trash the whole cartride that most likely had plenty of yellow and magenta inks. The individual tanks are far cheaper to buy (at about ~$$$ each) than a new color cartridge (~$$$).

Now for performance. The output quality is fantastic. I have printed out over 40 photos on 4x6 glossy photo paper (I have used 3 different premium glossy brands with little, if any, discernable difference in sharpness or color fidelity. I work for a large major medical equipment manufacturer and we ditribute "low-end" printers for over $10,000 that you would not be able to tell the difference in quality with the naked eye given the same source input. The bottom line is that the photo print capability of this printer is nothing short of stunning. I am also more than happy with the general purpose color and document printing on standard high resolution paper contrary to a number of reviews (usually from editorial product reviewers) that I have seen elsewhere.

The speed of both photo and general purpose printing is nothing short of astounding. I couldn''t believe my eyes at the output speed of photo prints and general purpose documents. Documents came out nearly as fast as a laser printer I have at work. And the pinter is so darn quiet. Except for the normal "thunk" as the paper is fed into the machine, I can barely hear the printhead while it is in operation.

In short, if you are looking for a printer that is miserly on printing supplies that produces fabulous photo and general purpose output, then GET THIS MACHINE!

Want Canon i850 Photo Printer Discount?

As everyone else has noted, this is a very good printer for the cost. The performance will probably be sufficient for all but the most particular users. I just printed out a 8.5"x11" borderless print and cannot find a flaw in it. And the print out was relatively quick: 2''30" for a 1.5MB file.

The printer comes with the following:

CD with 3 or 4 software programs, the drivers, and the complete documentation

quick start guide

(really) quick start poster which was enough to get everything running

sample pack of the Canon 4"x6" Photo Paper Pro

print head, ink cartridges, and power cord

As noted by other reviewers, a cord to connect the printer to your computer is not included. I bought a Belkin F3U133-06 USB Device Cable (6 Feet) which has the square connector for the printer and the flat connector for the computer. The printer can also use a parallel port cable, but I have not tested this.

Installation was pretty simple and worked fine with my old (''97) Windows 98 desktop and my new Windows 2000 laptop. I''ve mostly used the Easy Photo-Print program to print images. It automatically makes the proper printer settings so you don''t have to worry about that.

Another nice feature is the Auto Power Setting available from the Maintenance tab. The printer can be setup to turn on when a document is printed to it and turn off after a certain period on inactivity.

Anyway, highly recommended.

I purchased the Canon i850 on recommendation from the Canon rep that I met in a store. Well......this is the best printer I have ever seen for [its price].

The colors are superb, and the B&W print looks like it came from a laser.

The set-up instructions are on a separate sheet, and worked the first time. I loaded the software on my mac, and printed within minutes. Photos printed on 4x6" glossy paper look like they came from a professional photo lab.

Word of warning. The image software that comes with the printer works a bit too well. When you first start it up, it finds ALL images in the folder you direct it to, and immediately displays them on the screen so you can choose which ones to print. It found a couple of images that, ahem, I did not want anyone else to see. Oh well, I guess they didn''t belong on my hard drive anyway?!?

All in all, an excellent printer and software combo. You will enjoy it too.

Verbatim HP Q6473A Color LaserJet 3600 Series Replacement Laser Cartridge Magenta

  • Compatible Hardware: LaserJet 3600 Series
  • Color Toner Cartridges are manufactured using genuine polymerized (chemical) toner
  • Clear, sharp and consistently accurate color results
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty and protection against printer damage

I ordered this Verbatim cartridge ("Verbatim offers one of the most comprehensive lines of premium quality laser cartridges for today''s most popular printers. Utilizing Mitsubishi technology...") and was promptly shipped a "Generation Imaging Consumables" unit by GO-DPS. Generation seems to have no reputation or a terrible one from online searching.

I''ve been buying Verbatim products since the ''80s (they made the best 5 1/4" floppies under heavy use conditions!) and I don''t like paying for one thing and getting another, so I requested a return. GO-DPS politely said that people like their cartridges a lot, but they would give me a full refund. They also said that there is an actual GO-DPS page somewhere that says this cartridge is not actually the Verbatim brand on the listing, but I have failed to find such a page.

I include this here as a warning, hoping others will see it. Apparently the way this works is Amazon puts up a listing and then various independent companies click a button to attach themselves to it. I suppose Amazon can''t possibly verify with everyone that they actually plan to ship the item listed.

Update: I checked with "greattoners" and they report that they also do not have the Verbatim brand. They actually believe that it works like this: someone makes a generic toner listing, a bunch of companies connect themselves to it, and then someone else edits it and inserts specific brand name information. The change is not run by the other companies, who remain attached to it. The companies ship out their own brands and then most customers live with it.

This is no excuse, however. The order comes to them saying "Verbatim" verbatim. It''s on the receipt GO-DPS sent me with the toner. They can''t possibly be totally unaware of the bait-and-switch.

For $20 less (!), I ordered the equivalent toner manufactured by Earthwise By Imation from pro-vantage. They promised that their advertised brand is their actual shipped brand. (I think buy.com would have saved $7 more, but I''m giving up here.)

While the quality of this paper is good you can obtain better paper for the same price. I must have been mistaken when I ordered this as I was certain I was getting 50 sheets at this price and had I actually gotten that amount I would have to say it would be a very good buy but at 20 sheets for this price it is NOT high enough quality for that price point. The saturation of the paper is good, this does make decent B&W prints and the same for color. I would have purchased Hahnemuhle canvas instead if I wanted to pay premium price for 20 sheets.

On the bright side this vendor did in fact deliver the paper. The paper is NOT crappy and is worth a look if your in the market and want to try some different papers. I printed this using a Canon ix6520 printer and the prints were good, it had no trouble pulling the paper through. I just feel that the number of sheets at the price point is too few when there are known higher quality alternatives out there. Being an unknown vendor with few purchases or reviews I would suggest a better price or more sheets for the price to get your name out there.

I''m giving it the same rating I gave the 50 size packages of the same paper. BUT NOT HAPPY CAMPER with finding out I ordered both the 50 and the 25 size packages of the SAME EXACT PAPER. Only I paid approx 20.00 dollars per two 50 packs and 20.00 for three 25 packs thus making the 75 sheets 25% more expensive. You could not tell from the descriptions given that these were the same paper but they came and it was clear they were. So that''s shameful on the sellers or HP perhaps for not making it clear these are basically the same paper only in different size boxes by number of sheets contained. As far as the rating for the paper goes. It does a great photo quality on both my old HP printer now 12 years old and my new EPSON R2000 printer almost a year old. So that''s fine. What I do not like is the ghosted printing on the nonglossy photo side. I bought this paper to save weight and thickness in layering different medias together...and when I can''t print text on the flip side that sort of undoes what the whole idea of thinner paper is about. So I like it and I probably will use it again but will also look for other paper that competes and does not have a ghost print on the flip side...preventing it''s use when needed or wanted by the consumer that''s me. So it lost a star and then some over that. I hope HP is listening but really most of us do not need help with this paper anyway figuring out which is the photo side. I didn''t and rarely have ever. SO STOP DOING THAT...or offer us a choice and I bet you soon find that most consumers or customers prefer the advantage to using the flip side too. It''s thinner and unfortunately my design of a 6 panel card this year did not prevent me from having to add that exttra 20 cents onto the cards for postage. I had hoped as last year I used thicker and heavier paper for an 8 panel card and still it was only 20 cents more too. At least it wasn''t more:)))) But I suspect I would have saved the 20 cents extra charge had I not been forced to glue on 4 extra sheets for the flip side of the cards for my printing and text materials. It certainly undid the whole reason to go with lighter weight photo paper this project.

Moab Lasal Photo Matte

Moab Lasal Photo Matte, Double Sided, Bright White Archival Inkjet Paper, 235gsm, 5x7'', 50 SheetsWe used this photo paper for this years''s "Pet Pictures with Santa". We use this event to benefit the Pulaski County Humane Society. The photographer requested matte paper rather than gloss and she was very pleased with hte results that she got with the Moab Matte paper. A plus is that it is two sided, so it doesn''t matter how it is loaded into the printer.
