Canon PIXMA MX700 Office All-On-One Inkjet Printer
- All-in-one printer can preview, scan, copy, print, and fax
- Color resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dpi
- Automatic Document Feeder holds up to 30 sheets of originals to easily copy, scan, or fax large documents
- It has 1.8-inch color LCD photo preview display
- It has 1-year limited warranty
SCAN: The scan quality is noticably better than the HP and I also like the software a lot more. Note that I am using this machine on a mac so I can''t speak to what the PC experience is like.
FAX: The fax is much smarter. I used to have to unplug the HP so it wouldn''t answer the phone when I didn''t want it to. The Canon can simply be told that phone should take priority and it won''t pick up... at least not before my answering machiine does on ring number 4. This is nice because it means I don''t have to mess with phone cords when I want to send a fax.
PRINT: Works great. Set up three different computers to access on my network, although it did take me a minute to realize I had to use the "Canon IJ Network" option in the drop down for my computer to see the printer. If I had bothered to read the instructions it probably would have been quicker. ;)
COPY: Also seems to work great. Similar to the HP here although the quality of the print seems a little better.
I''ll try to come back and add more detail after more use, but since there weren''t any reviews yet I thought I''d add one now.

I got this to replace a HP unit that had constant problems. At first I was in love with the MX700. Excellent print quality, fast scanning, network compatible, etc. However, today I needed to do a large copying and scanning job and love turned to frustration. At first the copies were coming out at about 12-15 seconds per page. But after about 30 or so pages it slowed down to about a minute per page making copies. Then I needed to do a large scan job of about 100 pages. Similar experience. Pretty quick on first 30 or so pages then slowed down to 70 seconds per page while scanning black and white text at 300dpi. Display frequently says "Scanner warming up..." Come on now, I am in Southern California and not Siberia. It is 82 degrees right now in my home office! Unless I got a defective unit I plan to return this printer. I will call Canon when they open to see if the slow down and frequent "Warming up" messages is "normal" or a defect. If this is normal, I would not recommend this printer/scanner unless you only do small print and scan jobs with it. Based on the review from another unhappy user, it appears that it slows to a crawl when the memory is filled up. Too bad as other than for that this would be a great unit. I got impatient waiting for it to copy a larger document and turned the unit off and then back on. After doing that it was fast again making the copies until several pages later when again it when into slow mode. I''d like to go to bed now but it is going to take about 40 more minutes for it to scan the last 40 pages! Arrrgggg!Update: 10/2008 After a year with this printer I really don''t like it. My 2 star rating stands. The printer uses a lot more ink than it appears it should. While my Macs printed fine right away over the network, the mediocre Canon software was never able to get my PC or PC laptop to print over the network. Today I spent 90+ minutes manually messing with my PC to finally get it to print over my my network. 30 years of PC experience came in handy but this is something the Canon installation software should have done automatically. Also with my Macs I get inconsistent connectivity to scan. I can always print over the network but it is hit and miss for the scanner to work over the network. I also had to disconnect my fax line from the MX700 as it will at random take over the phone line when you are in the middle of a conversation. Despite setting the fax function to manual mode, it has a bug that makes the MX700 listen in on all calls and take over a call if it thinks it hears a fax tone. VERY ANNOYING! Although I was not a fan of the HP unit this Canon replaced, I may go back to HP after my experience with this MX700. Oh, and as far as that pesky "Scanner warming up" message when the unit slows to a crawl, well the Canon tech person said that it literally means that the unit is warming up as in getting too hot. So it slows down to allow it to cool off. Seems like Canon really went low budget on this unit...
Update: 05/2009
I have been wishing this unit would die to replace it with something else. The print quality started to get poor the last couple months. I figured it was the print head. I print quite a bit. At about $100 it was not worth replacing the head. But I found one on sale for $50 and replaced the head and now the print quality is good again.
INK TANK TIP TO SAVE YOU CASH : I discovered that there is often still quite a bit of printing capacity left when you get the out of ink warning. When the unit stops working you can force it to continue to print. Simple hold down the Stop/Rest button until the out of ink message goes away and it starts to print. By doing this you can even refill the Canon cartridges. Simply use a syringe to drip ink on the fabric/sponge opening of the cartridge. Don''t over fill it! Let it sit a couple minutes and put it back in the printer. If the out of ink message appears, hold down the Stop/Reset button to clear the message. You can now print until the tank runs out of ink. NOTE: You can damage a print head by running it dry. I recommend that every so many days/weeks you put several more drops of ink in the cartridge so it never runs out of ink. Now you can spend pennies refilling instead of bucks replacing the ink tanks.
Update 03/2010
Replaced it with a Brother color laser unit DCP-9040CN. The Brother printer is at least 5 times faster printing when there are images on the pages. Overall at least twice as fast as the ink jet. Cost was under $300 for the DCP-9040CN. Will never go back to ink jet.

Unfortunately, Canon tried to get too smart and hurt the product offering substanially in this case. They were afraid of hurting the MP830''s sales so they removed lots of good features from this product. The MX700 cannot print double-sided unless you manually flip pages...my $60 Canon printer can do this, but not this one. Also, they striped the memory down so much that it can''t actually use the full 30 page capacity of the Automatic Document feeder. Put in 15 pages and the memory is full...and the scanning slows down to 1 page per minute...which is very very slow.Overall, I do not recommend this machine. Buy the old Canon MP830 or go with the new HP''s. I''ve used both and feel they are a lot better values.

A real bargain. Basic copy and printing works great with my Apple PowerBooks and the newly released OS 10.5.One of the major reasons I bought this model is it can be networked via Ethernet. The directions were very good if you read through them and don''t try to jump ahead like I do. If you follow all the steps you''ll be up and running in no time.
You''ll need a A>B USB cord (not included) to get the thing set up EVEN if you plan to only use the Ethernet connection. Once you''ve got it on your network you can unplug the USB cord and put it away.
Other points for Mac users as of 11/8/07:
1. In order to support color management in Mac OS X v.10.5, an upgraded version of Easy-PhotoPrint will be available. The current version of Easy-PhotoPrint EX does support Mac OS X v.10.5.
2. MP Navigator / MP Navigator EX are not compatible with Mac OS X v.10.5. Please check our Download Library for updated utilities/software. For now, please scan using ImageCapture or other TWAIN compatible application.
Picture print quality is very, very good. But, suggest you use Canon paper for the best results. I use their Photo Paper Plus Glossy 4" x 6".The MX700 has no fax receive setting for "do not pickup". It instead has a "telephone priorty" for use on a line shared with normal voice use. Unfortunately this setting is unreliable and frequently the MX700 picks up the line either immeadiately, or after a minute or so into your call, or even if you change extensions which makes a little noise on the line. It then starts the fax tone in your ear. You can''t turn it off because it thinks it''s in the middle of getting a fax. Canon Tech support is no help. I''ve just had to unplug the phone line. The color printing and copying is not very good either with unsaturated color and non uniform color across the page. If I can find a way to dump my MX700, I''ll go back to HP.

Although I am very pleased with the product and its outcome, there are certain areas that could be improved. Avery''s website now requires registration in order to download patterns. I think that''s unnecessary. The patterns are Microsoft Word compatible and allow users to change the text fields. Yet unlike the software that they offer for mailing labels, which allows you to repeat the information for all labels on a page, come up with individual ones, or import data from a file, these patterns require you to update each of the four labels separately, and do so on each side. If you have several varieties of items for which you wish to produce labels, you can''t merely make them, pick them off a list, and fill the four slots dynamically.
Considering that it''s a package with a small number of sheets, it''s likely that customers will not be using it for large runs of the same item. With their traditional label software, printing only one label on a page is a breeze. If they don''t feel that''s necessary with this product, perhaps more than ten sheets of material would have been a better offering, since the software is best tailored to making many copies of the same sheet.
The labels themselves are symmetrical, although you are free to have a different design or text printed on each side. But the pages themselves are not symmetrical. Since they are not centered, be sure to print a sample unless you are sure which end of your paper feed corresponds to the top or bottom of your page.
All in all, I can''t complain about the labels or bags themselves, but Avery has spoiled me with better software in the past. Depending on how you plan to use them, the software may fit your needs well, or may require more work than should be necessary.

I like the idea but these labels are too thick for my inkjet printer, my laserjet at work and I even tried to print the template on regular paper and put it thru the copier. No luck on any machine. I ended up hand designing the toppers which is fine I guess but I could have done that cheaper with out buying this kit. I really wanted a professional looking end product but it is not attainable with any of my office machines :(Read Best Reviews of Avery Printable Bag Toppers with Bags, Pack of 40 (22801) Here
I have been waiting for an item like this for a while. I have used Avery products for years, and I have never been disappointed, and this product is no exception. These bags and toppers are part fo a new line, "Avery Merchandising Solutions." The self-adhesive bag toppers can be used in either a laser or ink jet printer, I printed some on each kind of printer and the results were equally pleasing. The bags were easy to assemble and the results were professional looking. Printing the toppers require a template from Avery.com, which was very easy to locate and use. The site offers a huge library of art work that can be used to customize the labels, or you can import your own artwork. Importing artwork is fast and easy; I was able to customize a set of toppers in less than 20 minutes. The only thing that keeps me from giving the product 5 stars is the bags themselves. The bags are made of a thin plastic and measure 4 3/4" by 6 1/2". I wanted to use the bags to package sets of handmade notecards. The bags do not have a fold or anything to provide for "depth" in the bag. I was unable to put more than three 4x6 notecards in the bag, because of the lack of depth in the bag. The packaging shows the bags full of seashells, stones, and plastic animals, but I doubt that the bags could hold the amount of items shown without seriously changing the dimensions of the bags. That said, I still think this is a good item, I have always been pleased with Avery products, and I will be purchasing more of these. I would like to see other sizes available, and possibly other packages, such as clear boxes, other bag sizes, etc. Maybe with the success of this product, Avery will look into making more packing items.Want Avery Printable Bag Toppers with Bags, Pack of 40 (22801) Discount?
Unfortunately, Microsoft Office 2007 does not have the template for 22801. In the past I have gotten around this by searching the Microsoft website and downloading from there, but 22801 does not exist. Therefore, in order to create and use your Avery labels, you must register at the Avery site first (no getting around it).For the download, make sure to choose Open With>Microsoft Word. By default, for some reason, it originally downloaded into Works, and the template does not format in Works at all. The "Open With" option does not come up automatically. I had to download it once (automatically opens in Works), then choose the option on the avery popup that says "If download does not start automatically, click here." Click there, and then the option to Open With exists. Then save in Word format. (Or SAVE AS first, then Open With also works.) Once you have that done, you must CONVERT the document in order to have full access to all of Word''s functions. (Microsoft Button>Convert>SAVE!!) (Not sure why this issue exists, and when I attempted to use Internet Options in IE to set Word as default for downloading docs, this option was unavailable.)
The main problem that I find with most Avery templates is with graphics. You cannot drag your logo/photo left or right, or stick it in a corner. You paste in your graphic and it''s pretty much either up or down from there. If you want the graphic placed below text, type in the text first, enter for spacing and then paste in the graphic. If you want the graphic above the text, paste in the graphic, enter for spacing and then type your text. You can resize your own logo/graphic to fit the labels by using a net-based photo resize program.
To create different text effects, such as concave or rainbow, Insert>Word Art. For a really professional look, and for more on messing with Text in 2007, see this link:
Your only limits here are your own imagination, and the size of your label.
Once the labels are printed, it can be a challenge to attach them to the bags. You have to fill the bags first and then seal them (self-adhesive strip on the bags), then attach the bags to the label, which becomes tricky, depending upon how bulky your bag is once filled. (The bags are a nice size, but they split at the seams if over-filled.) You can re-position once or twice at the most if you mess up (after one or two repositions, the label begins to come off onto the bags), but if you do not have the patience to be precise, you will end up with lopsided packages. These bags cannot be used for food, so disappointing! So I suggest using them for pretty holiday gifts you wish to display, such as poptpourri or a glittered ornament, or for selling at craft shows. There are pop-outs for hanging these packages on displays, but if you are going to do this, I suggest filling them with lighter contents; I think heavy items would pull on the bag and end up breaking from the weight after a period of time.I had no issues with printing the toppers as some others have. And I like the product. It''s easy to use and pretty easy to print just 4 or to mass produce all 40!
The biggest issue I have is that there only seems to be one size. If you need more than one size, you''re going to need more than one solution to presenting your product.
I''m a computer tech and really like the idea of putting some of my own branding on generic cables and adapters, but big stuff doesn''t fit and and having one small adapter in a bag looks unprofessional. It seems like a smaller and a bigger bag set would really complement this product.
So while I like this and how easy this is, I''m going to have to find another solution for different sizes. And when I use a different solution for everything else, why would I continue using these for just this size?
Another review talked about the amazon page saying "don''t use for food" but the product not saying anything. On the back botom of the packaging I got it says "Do not use bags for food. Do not microwave bags."

I got this as a gift for my parents they will probably not use all the fancy features like the graphics you can add with this laber. It comes with one cartridge so you may want to add a few more.My likes about the p-touch system:
1 labels last a long time but not forever
2 colors are available and easy to switch out
3 conservative on the batteries
4 compact and nice form factor like a typewriter but smaller I have 2 other smaller P-touch labelers that go in my trucks for labeling cables and wires very handy at times.
5 added fancy graphics features on this model my small ptouch system is only good for perhaps drawing a box around text, these get pretty fancy
6 new label design has a split down the middle making removal of the new backing easier prior labels were troublesome to remove the backing.
I bought this for my dad who turned 75. If he can use it, I think most any age person can get more organized. We find unusual uses for the labels it prints some are used not only to identify property but also to hold on the battery door on a flimsy product. Others are used to annotate a spreadsheet of medications with a new one before giving it to a new doctor. The uses just keep showing up for the product!
I bought mine during the fast and furious sale which closed out in 5 seconds as did the next model up with a usb interface. The graphicss are minimal on this but add a nice touch to someone who is beginning scrapping or wants a simple, easy to use low cost label. For serious graphics you will want the pc version. For my dad, this will do fine.
I labeled some outdoor stuff that faded out after a while (3 years) so do note that p-touch labels expire with sunlight.
Lastly, the features are well made such that the cover can be removed fast and replaced without any lost screws or broken snaps. This has always been a brother p-touch feature that I appreciate from my truck labelers which get the tape color changed frequently it''s matter of opening the door and replacing the cartridge no fancy stuff and can be done one handed. Without that design feature you could easily have a product that breaks far too soon. My 2 other p-touch labelers that are 7 years old and have been dropped off ladders at worksites still run fine. Its a quality product that will serve many purposes for a long life, which is why dad got one. UPDATE 1 year later his is still on the first set of batteries and running strong!

The extra space at the front of the label is definitely an issue for me. If you set margins to "Narrow" there is minimal space after the text but you still have 1" at the front so the text is not centered. The best way to save tape it to put it on "Chain Print" and print multiple labels at a time. Nonetheless, you still have to use a scissors to trim all the labels and that is a pain.Want Brother PT1290 Home and Office Labeler Discount?
This is a great little label maker. It has some great options including adding fun symbols and shapes like hearts, stars and different fonts to your labels. I''ve used it to label glass containers in our pantry for baking items and love the neat and easy to read look of it. Very user friendly and easy way to keep things organized. Of course like all label makers I''ve used, it seems to use up more tape than I''d like but this one offers a great solution by giving you the "narrow margin" option. This avoids the extra inch margin on either end of your label. Great! I find myself looking for things to label just so I can use this labeler. Before purchasing this product, you should be aware that it is designed for laminated tape and ONLY works on laminated tape. The machine itself costs 50% more on Amazon at the time I write this than the non-laminate model, and more importantly the laminate tape costs twice as much as the non-laminate tape. The laminate tape also can''t be written on. Moreover, because of concerns about the laminating print head, it is designed to waste an inch of the expensive tape each time you cut the tape. Since the tape costs $12 for the 26-foot tape on Amazon (and a Brother tech support told me it''s $15-20 purchased locally, yes, you read that right, almost as much as the machine), that''s fifty cents a foot, or about a nickle per inch. So that extra inch costs you a nickle each time, and each label costs you from 15 cents to 30 cents depending on how long it is. (My very first label, which says simply "Test", is almost 3 inches long and therefore costs almost 15 cents, with all settings on default.) I may return it, despite the cumbersome process for returning things online, because I don''t have any need for weather-proof labels and am not willing to pay several dollars extra a year for them. Now, if you are willing to always print several labels at a time, and cut the labels apart yourself with scissors, you can avoid this inch wastage by using the continuous mode. Or if you want a blank inch on either side of your label all the time, which is the default, then arguably it isn''t wasted. For me this isn''t worth the dime that 2 inches of blank space is costing me plus I didn''t want it anyway because it may unnecessarily make the label too long to fit on a file folder without cutting it with scissors myself, which is exactly the sort of manual thing that label makers are supposed to get rid of.The second thing you should be aware of is that while the machine is quite powerful, it is not very easy to use. I am not saying the product is badly designed, it''s just that it has enough stuff crammed into it that I think will confuse many people (it confuses me slightly, and I have a Ph.D. in a technical field). The design could be a lot worse, but my guess is that for most people the extra options will simply confuse things.
So for those of you who just want to label file folders quickly and cheaply, like me, I''d consider Brother Personal Labeler Machine, White (PT90). Also, it seems the laminate tape models like this one also use 6 batteries, whereas the non-laminate like the one I link to above use only 4.

Besides that problem the printers have been solid. They are a great printer for those that print. If you aren''t printing a few pages with it every week I hear there can be problems but I print so much that I don''t have to worry about that. The large format sizes through the bypass tray really give this printer a lot of options. They have been trouble free other then the aforementioned problem. I would recommend to any business.

- Great for printing anything you''d like to see on a sticker
- Glossy photo paper is specially designed to instantly dry with a high resolution pictures
- LD paper is Water Resistant, protecting your stickers for a longer-lasting life-span
- Photo glossy paper is universally coated to use with most inkjet printers in the market today
- Can use the whole sheet as one large sticker
Nice, glossy finish on one side, colors print out nicely on my Canon MX700 Inkjet, no issues with ink smudging, comes out dry right away.
It''s possible to scratch, but only if you scratch it really hard in general, if you''re interested in making stickers that you want to more long lasting (and this applies to all sticker paper, regardless of brand), get a bottle of Krylon Crystal Clear Clearcoat spray and give the stickers a good cover of that, and your stickers will last a long time, including water-resistance.
The sticker aspect of it does its job, holds the sticker well in place though the adhesive isn''t extremely strong like a real sticker would be, meaning that it''s easy to peel off and comes off clean. However, I don''t expect it to come off on its own indoors. (though I would imagine outdoors it would be another story).
All in all a good purchase.

I bought this paper to make customized labels to wrap over Hershey''s Miniatures for wedding favors. I could have used plain paper or even high-resolution paper but I really wanted glossy in order to make them look more like real candy bars. This paper worked perfectly; I''ve yet to see a smudge or scratch so maybe that has something to do with the type of printer, not the paper. I use a Canon and printed on standard settings, not even high quality or photo setting. I am perfectly pleased with the quality of the printing; the colors on some of my labels weren''t quite what I expected based on what the monitor showed but we all know that what you see on the monitor is not always what you get in print. The bride will be thrilled with how this paper looks as part of her wedding favors and I like how inexpensive it was, how easily it peels off its backing, and how well it''s sticking to the candy bars. I''ll probably use all this package for the favors and buy another just to have on hand for everyday stuff. S&H were fairly priced and product was received in a reasonable amount of time. Only wish I could buy this stuff in my local stores. Thanks!Read Best Reviews of LD Glossy Inkjet Photo Sticker Paper (8.5""X11"") 100 pack Here

Updated Review: I''ve been using this paper for over a year now (it''s 1/31/12 today) and after multiple orders I''ve come to see why everyone complains so much about it. Sometimes I get a good quality pack, and others not...I''ve returned 2 packages to Amazon already. I''m now using a Canon MP560 printer and originally had no issues. But on more recent orders with this paper, the ink/paper starts to skip spots randomly. Leaving white speckles where the ink doesn''t take to the paper. I''ve wasted so much time and money trying to print clean pictures. Additionally, with this paper it''s impossible to print borderless, the ink starts to fade all along the edges. And I have noticed that my paper has yellowed on the newer packs I had ordered, my older paper still no yellowing. So sure it''s a good deal for 100 sheets/$18.99...but I need it for my business, every wasted sheet costs me money. Because it''s not reliable, it''s just not worth it. Also, a note on shipping..Aside for the two packs I returned, I kept 2 in which the corners were completely crushed in..and one pack had been opened already..with part of the sheets having a bend through out about 25 sheets.Original Review:
I was originally unsure about purchasing because of some of the bad reviews. But, this paper has great quality, and you can''t beat the price. I printed on HP Photosmart D7260 printer with HP Vivera inks. NO SMEARING. I used cheap inks years ago and always experience random spots and smears, if your printing custom jobs..trust me spend the extra money and get good quality ink. The paper is thin (not as thick as photo paper) and has a nice gloss finish. It came with in a few days and very well packaged in a box (no worries about being bent) in the mailbox). I will repurchase this again! Very happy customer.I''m a graphic designer currently doing commercial as well as "cute design" (for baby showers, christenings, baby arrival, etc...). I''ve tried different papers and this is my final choice. I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, because the other day I printed out a few sheets, and when I was cutting my stickers I said something and yeah... a drop of spit fell on my sticker and it smudged not only on the spot, but some space around it (I thought my pages were dry after 5 minutes, but it seems they weren''t). ALSO... you may lose some small detail.
MY RECOMMENDATIONS:
Let it dry very well before speaking near your print-outs or wear a surgeon mask. =D
Also, be careful with small areas of color over large areas of color (eyes, using a light font over a background of color... you may lose that kind of detail)
Keep your printer in good shape.
MY PRINTER: CANON PIXMA IP 4700
MY SOFTWARE: Illustrator CS4
MY PRINTING SETUP: Photo Glossy Paper, Standard quality (not the highest)...
My stickers look great and my clients love them... I''m very pleased with my results!
For the record: I wish I could have give it 4.85 stars =)

I would just like to say that I have had 2 Epson PictureMate printers and they both have been awesome!! No other printers seem to compare to Epson''s photo printers. This one, the Zoom, will not only print your pictures but will also copy your pictures to a cd, Awesome!! The LCD screen is alot bigger on the Zoom than the other ones. I am nothing but pleased!!

The pictures you get are gorgeous. If you want to pay about a buck a pic, that is. The ink cartridge DOES NOT LAST! We get between 35 and 50 pictures, not 150. This is the second time it has happened, and we use the cartridge well before the "use by" date. See the reviews on the cartridge pack for verification. This was our first Epson, we usually only buy HP, and this will be our last. Too bad Epson would rather make a buck on print packs than be customer loyalty oriented, but what else can we expect these days?Read Best Reviews of Epson PictureMate Zoom (PM290) Photo Lab Printer (Silver) Here
My husband bought this for me because we have 6 kids and I live with my camera in my hands. This is so convenient, I can take it anywhere, I don''t have to have a computer to crop, zoom or take out red eye. The picture quality is great and I love that it gives me the option to add a date stamp to each picture. Being able to copy my photos straight from my memory card to a disk was just a super bonus. This is a great product. I even like the ink and paper packs, I mean I spent over $40 just for 3 ink cartridges for my Canon printer which took 6 cartridges plus I still had to buy picture paper, so to get all the ink in one cartridge plus 100-150 sheets of picture paper for less than $40 I think is a great deal.Want Epson PictureMate Zoom (PM290) Photo Lab Printer (Silver) Discount?
It may be small, but big on picture quality. I had seen this machine a couple of years back at a scrapbooking convention, and had already seen the quality of the pictures. I was impressed for it''s size, I didn''t expect much. I do already have a much larger EPSON printer that is over 24" long, that cost over $1000 when it came out, and can print 13x17 pictures with not only 10 cartridges of ink, but 5 of them being black. Yes, this is a phenomenal printer too, especially since I do so many black & white photos, but certainly not portable. I wasn''t able to find this PictureMate printer anywhere in a store, no matter where I looked, but didn''t consider going directly to Epson at the time. I was just surprised it couldn''t be found at Best Buy or other Computer stores. Two years later, I attended another CRAFT HOBBY ASSOCIATION convention and took a class, which was not sponsored by Epson. This class changed my thinking about scrapbooking and my style at this time in my life, wanting to simplify everything. I got to use this PictureMate printer in that class; print as much as I wanted, and try all the menu settings and options out of the box. I have never used my camera flash storage directly to printer before either. I always download all my photos, and store them in folders, and rotate them and organize them in Photoshop Elements, which is time-consuming and vulnerable at the same time. The printer takes many camera''s flash storage, and it was simple without having to read manuals. It was super fast & easy, and I LOVE the index prints. It also surprized me having all those different print sizes that would fit on a 4x6 borderless (if you choose) sheet of photo paper. Two years after I initially saw it, I realized it had been improved and had more options, including the cd writer! How convenient! This PictureMate is even better than I expected. I originally wanted this just to take this to scrapbooking crops and our annual scrapbooking retreat since it has power cord, but can even run 9 hours on rechargeable battery! I thought it would be great to have current pictures from crops and conventions and be able to print them out to scrapbook them immediately in some of my class projects! But since I took that new class showing me how to scrapbook a condensed version of a calendar year into a smaller book with plenty of journaling pages from Creative Imaginations, I''ve got this printer on my desk and used it quickly to put together mini-books from our summer vacations. SO, I''m kind of glad that I had waited because i got even more for my money, payed the same price as I would have at Epson, and earned rewards from AMAZON for doing so! What I didn''t expect, is that my larger photo printer would be getting dusty!Great little printer no bigger than a lunch box. I used this at a party and presented the guest of honor with an album of photos taken just minutes after they were shot. Sharp, good color, easy to use. I recommend if 4x6 prints is what you want.Avery Folded Two-Side Printable Clean Edge Business Cards for Inkjet Printers (8820) Save 25% off

Unlike the usual ink jet business cards, these do print nicely on both sides. The other type always looks a bit blurred if run through on the back side of the page. They do come apart easily like all "clean edge" products, so handle with care. I use these as labels for my jewelry items so I have a need for duplex printed cards. These serve the purpose very well. I can even print partial sheets (albeit carefully) so each piece in my collection comes with a complete description. The cards were easy to use and lived up to their claims and to my expectations. I will definitely use them again.Want Avery Folded Two-Side Printable Clean Edge Business Cards for Inkjet Printers (8820) Discount?

I bought these to use with my Dymo label printer. The labels print fine, but the adhesive on these labels is terrible. It adheres only for a short time and then starts peeling away. I don''t know about other Dymo Letratag labels, but these are useless.Read Best Reviews of Dymo 10697 1/2in X 13ft Letratag White Paper Tape (2-Tapes) Here
I like this tape. It''s great as long as it''s used on a smooth, hard surface. I use it mainly for labeling bins for storage or toys, so it works well for me. I wish it was a little more useful on other surfaces, but for the price and my needs, it works. I only gave it three stars because its stickiness is really dependent upon what you put it on.Want Dymo 10697 1/2in X 13ft Letratag White Paper Tape (2-Tapes) Discount?
I used this tape primarily for labeling spice containers and it sticks to the top very effectively. I will purchase again when I run out.I sort of like Dymo''s plastic tape a bit better but this tape works pretty good. I found it''s even more resistant to water than I thought it wouild be. The only draw back I''ve found is that the adhesive tend to let the corners start rising up a bit and then you need to replace the tape. I''ve found that you can put clear plastic tape over this tape and that tends to solve that problem if you''ve got to use it where might get wet or dirty. Overall, good product...
