  • Each certificate is made from 50% recycled, 30% post-consumer material.

These certificates are nice enough but are printed on very thin paper which makes them feel a little cheap.

The paper itself is high quality, but the printed design is poor: the squiggly lines in the background are too dark! It distracts from any writing or designs that you print on the paper, and gives it an overall messy appearance.

Another review mentioned this but I didn''t understand until the product arrived what they were referring to there are dark squiggly lines across the entire page of this certificate! Maybe it wouldn''t be so bad if you were just using black text but if you want a company logo or a photo on the certificate they will have dark lines running through them. It''s totally unusable for anything other than dark text on paper. We got a great price on the certificates but now I''ve got to see if amazon will take them back as they are totally useless to us. I wish you could see the lines better in the photo they have online. Crazy. I can''t believe that anyone would think that this is good product design.

The paper has a slight off white color on both the front and back which is nice (many inexpensive certificates only have tinting on one side). While the paper stock is pretty light (thin), when printed on it gives a very rich look.

I''ve run into a lot of other similar products that are shrink wrapped and end up warping the pages which ends up making only a small percentage usable. Not the case with this product. They are nicely wrapped and every sheet is good enough to print and present to the recipient. I would definitely buy these again.

Had the paper stock been a little thicker I would have given it 5 stars.

this certificate paper looks great in the photos but it has lines all through the design which I think is unattractive. Too me I feel the paper is thin and cheap. I will keep them only because I dislike very much returning items. Even in the enlarged picture I did not notice the lines until I went back an looked thoroughly.

Epson PAPER 13 x 19" Hot Press Natural Smooth Matte Paper

We used it to make our Christmas cards this year... it was fantastic, and I was able to easily print on both sides of the paper.

This is a lovely matte finish paper. After years of preferring smooth glossy photo papers, I now find myself in awe of what a really good matte finish inkjet paper can do for an image. I experimented with a number of fine art matte papers recently and the Epson Hot Press Natural was at the top of the list of my favorites. HPN does just about everything well. For monochrome photos, it reproduces blacks with a velvety smoothness that is so rich you can taste it. The paper color is a natural, creamy white, something I much prefer to the glare of most bright white papers. The paper is thicker than the average but feeds well through the front manual load tray of my Epson R3000. Epson''s downloaded profiles do a great job when printing in color and Epson''s Advanced B&W set-up works well with monochrome. This is a 100% cotton rag paper, billed as being acid-free and pH buffered. Epson says on the package that it has no optical brighteners. These are all Good Things.

Is there anything about this paper I do not like? Not really. The surface is billed as "smooth" but it does have a slight texture. It''s not a distracting texture--it''s hard to see it unless you angle the paper and catch the light just right. It doesn''t appear to detract from the images I''ve printed, still I would prefer the finish to be a little smoother. The surface has been noted by others to be somewhat fragile, scratching easily. I''m careful with the paper after printing. I allow it to dry at least 24 hours and then coat the prints with PremierArt Print Shield lacquer spray. Following this procedure, I''ve had no difficulties with scratched prints so far. The only real complaint I have about HPN is that Epson doesn''t sell it in 11x17 inch sheets. My preferred normal print size is 11x14 or 11x17 and these sizes are not available. There are other good papers available in these sizes--I''ve been pleased with Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth, Canson Infinity Rag Photographique and Museo Portfolio Rag. All these papers would serve well in place of HPN although I still like the HPN best of those I''ve tried. Of course, there are numerous other papers I have yet to sample that are billed as "fine art" matte. I have an open mind and a willingness to experiment with other papers. As of right now, HPN is the overall winner.

All in all, I recommend giving HPN a try if you are interested in trying matte inkjet paper for your work.

  • EIO Expansion Slot for Optional Networking/ Storage/ and Connectivity Options
  • 68.00 Lbs (WxLxH) 16.90" x 20.10" x 16.30"

I got this printer a few months ago for my office and so far I really like it. The duplex option is terrific. Double-sided printing not only is greener, it helps to keep the files from getting too fat.

The print quality is great, though the colors do print a bit darker than I''d expect based on their appearance on screen. I haven''t had any paper jams or other problems with it.

Getting the full size printer cartridges with it is a good deal. So far, I''ve only had to change the black one so it does monitor them separately (I''ve heard of other HP color printers that force you to change the color printer cartridges when the black runs out).

BTW, I don''t know what the guy with the envelope problems is talking about. I print envelopes frequently and it has never sealed one. Based on my experience, I would guess his problems have more to do with the humidity around his store of envelopes than with the printer.

It is great having a color LaserJet printer. I am using it on my Mac. The only thing I wish this printer had was a built in wireless capability. I have it plugged into my Time Capsule and not into my computer but it would be better if it were wireless like my Photosmart printers by HP. Installation went without a hitch and I am very happy with my new color printer.

HP CP3505DN Color Laserjet PrinterI purchased the hp 3505 dn primarily for its color duplex capabilities and it does a superb job. The printer arrived with all toner cartridges installed and all I had to do was remove the packing materials, load rhe software, connect it to my network and print. I have never had a paper jam have used regular copy paper as well as card stock. I don''t do double sided with card stock though. I rate hp printers as one of the best brands and currently have 2 hp color lasers and 2 black and white laser printers and have had no problems with any of them. I can reccommend the hp 3505 dn printer to anyone.

I have had HP color laser printers in the past and if you''re looking for a printer for work or mostly text this is absolutely amazing. While no laser printer can give you the photo quality of an inkjet, this printer (1) has a short warm up time, (2) prints great color if you use charts or legal work and need to see the citations, and (3) is simply quiet. You can''t go better than HP. Unfortunately, because it''s color, the price of toner isn''t the cheapest, but if you couple this with the fact that it''s duplex, you''ll save more than you think.

We replaced another HP printer with this one. Very fast output, great color, and the automatic two sided printing is a terrific feature. There was virtually no new learning curve, and we are able to get operational in minutes rather than in hours. Thanks, HP.

Avery Personal Creations Textured Heavyweight Note Card and Envelopes, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, 50 per Box
  • Ink Jet Textured Heavyweight Note Cards.
  • Ideal for birthday and holiday cards, invitations, announcements, monogrammed stationery, place cards, awards and more.
  • The high-quality, heavyweight stock and special two-sided coating maximize ink jet printer colors.
  • Microperforation and premium scoring allow for easy folding and clean, neat edges.
  • Cards are easy to format with any desktop publishing software.

. . . for creating a brilliantly colored greeting card on your ink jet printer. This card stock is heavy-weight and has a matte coating on both sides -no bleeding through on your back-to-back printed cards. The new chroma-based inks -or other high-quality inks developed by your printer manufacturer -works perfectly on this stock. I tend to use large areas of color in many of my card projects and I love the rich colors that I am able to show off with these cards. Years ago, 3M was producing some of the best card stock for greeting cards. Their top-of-the-line stock was coated and it gave great results. After 3M left the printing materials market, it was impossible to find coated stock due to environmental concerns. I am so glad paper manufacturers were able to resolve any issues with the coating material. Avery, my new Canon PIXMA printer, and an almost OK greeting card software package help me to produce some very nice products; thanks Avery.

Cards were easy to use, after alignment was set properly. Images were crisp and sharp on finished product. When separated there were no ragged edges. Love them and would recommend them for homemade cards that look professionally made.

I bought this product because it was the only note-card stationary I would get overnight with prime.

I was dismayed to find the paper was much thinner than expected and that it came in perforated sheets. The perforations and thickness of the paper make a less than impressive stationary.

Pros: Good for do-it-yourself cards. Ideal for printing out multiple cards at once. Includes envelops

Cons: A bit ''cheap'' for important Thanks Yous, Invitations. The heavyweight in the description is false advertising. It''s medium-weight at best.

I''ve tested many ink jet cards since I make and sell my own greeting cards.

Avery used to have a great product almost ten years agoa print to the edge glossy greeting card. Loved them, but for some reason they discontinued it.

I wanted to try these but was disappointed to learn, after I bought them at Staples, that they are not a typical card stock weight, but more like perforated paper. Also, because they''re perforated it does leave a rough edge after you separate the cards. It would be nice if they could make these with the same non-perforated edges used for their clean edge business cards (which I love.)

If you want note cards for personal use and you don''t mind the less than "real" card quality, these will probably work for you. If you want a professional presentation of your art or photography I recommend going with a heavier card stock that doesn''t have perforated edges.

I bought these note cards for my mother so she could make baby shower invites for me. They ended up technically beyond her level (not because it''s at all hard, there are templates and everything, but because her technical level pretty much extends to freecell and e-mail) so I made the invites. They turned out great I used a template in Publisher (because I''m familiar with publisher) but I believe you can get them in word and probably google documents too. Printed really well and went out in the mail.

This is the second Brother multi-function printer I have owned. The old one worked perfectly for several years.

When I found out that Brother was offering this new MF Printer with 11 x 17 output capability I was tempted to buy one because I frequently print/fax/copy floorplan drawings. Then when I found out that it was less than $300 on Amazon I purchased one immediately and gave my old MF Printer to a friend.

I have not been disappointed. It was easy to set up and working in a matter of minutes. The warm up cycle at the beginning of a print job is a little slow, but fairly typical for this type of machine. I haven''t found any complaints with it. The ability to print/fax/copy/receive 11 x 17 drawings is awesome.

I fully expected that the downside to this printer would be the cost of the ink cartridges. Wrong again! Replacement Ink cartridges, in both black and color, were relatively cheap and available in XL and XXL capacities.

One last thing. This is not a photo printer. Color printing is sharp and acceptable for most business applications, but don''t expect to print photos.

This is a great, inexpensive business printer. I have been using it daily for about 6 weeks without so much as a hiccup. I highly recommed it.

The 11x17 scanner is the main reason I bought this machine. You just cannot find this platform size for the price. It is fast and the scan quality is very good. The other features life FAX, print and copy and generous paper trays are icing on the cake. 11x17 photos are superb, even when their source is very lo-res. Brother support has been punctual, well trained and have solved my ''operator'' trouble immediately...there has been no actual hardware issues. I am Very Satisfied with this product.

I bought this because I need to be able to produce color 11x17 drawings for my land surveying business. It was recommended by another surveyor. Even thought it''s slower than my copies or a laser printer, it''s very useful as a home backup. I also needed the scanning capabilities. I usually print out the survey and then sign it, then scan to PDF for delivery to my clients. It works great for that.

For a long time, I was dead set on getting a laser MFC (probably monochrome; can''t afford the color lasers and I rarely need color prints, although it is nice to distinguish hyperlinks and print web pages on rare occasions) to replace my old HP Photosmart C4280 printer/copier/scanner, which worked great but just couldn''t ever meet the level of performance that I need. I frequently scan or copy documents in 9x12" or 11x17" sizes (rarely larger, but it''s happened), which is impossible on my old machine; I also print out long documents (sometimes up to around 50pgs) in duplex regularly, which took forever and required me to feed each sheet through one at a time or spend time making sure I had them all oriented correctly and in the right order after I printed the odd pages on the first side.

The Brother MFC-J6910DW caught my eye because it, unlike all laser printers under the thousands of dollars, could scan/copy/print up to 11x17. Most only allow up to legal size, which is no more useful to me than 8.5x11. This machine makes my life so much easier with this ability, combined with the automatic duplex printing function as well as duplex scanning through the ADF. I was also pleasantly surprised by the relatively low ink cartridge cost per page it''s actually getting down into the realm of laser toner costs, which is MUCH better than the typical inkjet.

After owning the printer for a little over a week now, I can say it''s quite a pleasure to have. Set-up, including connecting to my home ethernet network, was a snap, and as soon as the drivers were installed on my computer from the included CD, I was able to do everything I needed to right from the start with a very short learning curve. Being an individual but with somewhat business-like printing needs, the overall cost-to-own on this Brother printer, its ease of use, and overall excellent functionality with outstanding features make this an excellent purchase.

This is the 3rd printer I have since I upgraded to MAC OS 10.7 LION. I had a HP 309 that worked fine with my MAC until I upgraded. Then I bought a KODAK multi-function printer that kept loosing connection with the network. Now I have this Brother MFCJ6910DW.

First the printer:

Machine is build very well. I love the 2 paper trays and the capability to print , scan and copy double sided 11" x 17". Physical setup was easy. I had the printer out of the box and the trays and cartridges installed in under 30 minutes.

Installing software was a different story. I''m a MAC user (LION 10.7). It took 2 installs and about 2 Hrs. to get the printer to "talk" wirelessly over my home network. Then I was able to print. But that''s it.

I called Bother Tech Support. They have a special group that addresses MAC problems. Unlike the regular phone support, they have limited operating hours. I think it''s 10:00 AM -8:00 PM EST. Once I got someone on the phone (Next day) a very nice and knowledgeable employee had the scanner function running in no-time. I can scan from the PC or directly from the printer to the PC. The text recognition is working as well. Installing it all was quite complex. I miss the days that you can plug just about any device into your Macintosh without having to load a driver.........................Hopefully Apple will come with a driver for this printer soon.

I appears to me that the "Scan to network" and "Scan to FTP" functions are not working for MAC LION 10.7. I have also not been able to make the scan to email function work with my Google account. I called the help desk again but the employee that (tried) to help me this time didn''t get me anywhere.

I have not used the FAX function at all.

The Brother website could use some improvement. It takes a while to find the correct documentation. Why not have a setup guide for each operating system???? One page that tells you step by step what to do........

Once I have some more "fun" with this machine I will update my review.

UPDATE:

Installed on my 2nd MAC OS 10.7. Went smooth this time. Here are the steps it took.

1) Do not use CD rom (yet)

2) download and install driver form Brother website:

3) Restart your MAC.

4) Add the printer in Systems Preferences, Print and Scan.

5) Printer should now show up in your list.

6) Print a test page to make sure it works.

7) Now download and install the Scan Driver from the Brother website:

8) It should open a window (Device Selector) to setup your computer name to scan to.

9) Check the box "Register your computer........." and give your computer a name to be displayed on the Brother display.

10) You should be able to scan now.

11) Now insert the Brother CD that came with your printer.

12) Open the Brother Support App and download and install Presto Pagemanager. This installs the OCR (Text recognition software)

13) Open the Brother Control Center (there should be a small icon in the top of your screen) and scan a document using OCR

14) Enjoy.

This is great for use with the Brother QL-570 and QL-500 label printers. People can use paypal shipping with this label paper. Paypal shipping requires you to have this kind of paper in order for your labels to print out of any brother label printer, I made the mistake of trying to use the DK-1202 Label Paper which is the same dimensions but not the same length and Paypal shipping wouldnt let me print out shipping labels without the DK-2205 Paper in my label printer.

The DK-1202 is 2-3/7" x 4,

the DK-2205 is 2-3/7" x 100'' (which is the one that your soposed to use for paypal shipping)

Dont confuse the two like I did :p as paypal shipping only lets you reprint the shipping label within 24 hours of creating it.

I am a student who regularly sells books, old movies, old video games, and other stuff via the internet and hate waiting in long lines at the post office to send a package every once in a while. With this label paper and my Brother QL-570 & QL-500 Label printers I just print out the shipping label using paypal shipping and put the package into any mailbox thus avoiding the long lines at the post office.

We use these labels as our other ''can''t-do-without'' item for the label printer

Again the set up with the cartridge on the labels themselves and the printer makes it super easy to load there is only one way it can be done so if you forget how to do it inbetween loading it is pretty obvious and so very forgiving

I love these labels, this one is in a continuous roll which means it is great for adjusting according to the type of address label needed. But as we send very large parcels at times this is actually fine for that nice wide and bright can be whacked on the front quickly and easily to the most awkward shape, and adheres well to any posting medium (paper, plastic etc)

If I was going to be picky theonly thing I would say is that it needs a gap between the backing and the label to make it easy to peel. As it is in a continuous roll you can make the label easily to any length, but sometimes you have to pick at the edges a bit to get the label off the backing a bit of a gap would make this easier.

Overall an excellent product easy to use, looks good and very adaptable.

When I bought a new photo printer, I didn''t realize how complicated paper selection could be. I just wanted "normal" 4x6 paper that would make good prints. In browsing, I came across paper with extra handling tabs that had to be removed, overly thin paper, etc. The Staples paper ended up being just what I wanted: it has the thickness and feel of photos that I am used to, no weird unnecessary features, and pictures look good on it; it also came at a reasonable price. This is a good paper choice for everyday photo printing.
