I am a nice guy. I have patience. Customer service is inherently frustrating, I''m okay with that. Things take time. Things break. I''m okay with that too. But this is OFF THE !@#$% SCALES OF BEING OKAY.

1. My printer broke. Wouldn''t scan or copy, just print.

2. I call customer service. I describe the problem. They said they''d send a replacement part and a guy would come fix it. Weird, for a $300 printer, but whatever.

3. The printer guy comes. Says they sent the wrong part. Reorders the part.

4. Two weeks go by. I call Samsung. The part is on INDEFINITE BACKORDER. I was not told. I talk to "Executive Customer Service", they say that they can just send another part that works just as well. WHY DIDN''T THEY JUST SEND THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

5. The printer guy comes back. Installs the part, it doesn''t work. He says that he charges $400/hour. That means Samsung has already paid for two replacement parts + shipping and about $1200 in repairs to NOT fix my broken $300 printer. Genius. He marks it "unrepairable". I call Samsung, they say they''re going to call me when his report goes through their system.

6. A week later. They never called me, so I call Samsung. They say they''ll finally send me a new printer. GREAT!! FINALLY!!!

7. ...wait. They''re not sending me a new printer. They''re sending me a new unit, but I have to keep the toner, the accessories, and I have to pull out the "imaging unit" and put it in a box because if I expose it to light, the whole thing is destroyed and my printer is worthless. No matter that I don''t know what the part looks like, I should be able to pull it out in the dark and put it in the conveniently sized light-proof box I don''t have. Great. I ask for an email instruction or checklist so I can make sure to take out all the right parts. The Samsung tech support guy says "we don''t have email." Really? Great move. A tech support department without email. Perfect.

8. Nope...not over yet. They aren''t sending ME the printer. It''s getting sent to my local UPS store. I now have to hope I pull out all the right parts to my broken printer in the dark, put them in a box so the "imaging unit" doesn''t break, go to the UPS store, pick up the new one, and hope that I can put it all back together at my house and that I haven''t left a part in the old printer because I''m supposed to take out the parts that were on a list that they wouldn''t give me.

9. I call the UPS store that Samsung tells me about. They have no idea what I''m talking about and have never had a Samsung printer sent to them, ever.

YOU SAMSUNG!!!!

Your crappy Epson printer breaks, they send you a new one for free, you don''t even have to send the old one back. THAT''S customer service. I will never buy another Samsung product, just to not have to deal with this moronic process again.

Buy Samsung Color Multifunction Laser Printer (CLX-3175FW) Now

Pros: Meets Expectations, Features, network scan with mac and pc great

Cons: Set up

I purchased this All-in-One color laser printer last night from my local Office Max. I was hoping to see in store how to function of the wireless actually worked. The sales guy was unable to demonstrate this after trying on one or two of the floor computers. As a leap of faith (and a few months of reading on the internet before purchasing), I bought the machine at the sale price plus the 2 year OfficeMax warranty.

I brought it home and unpacked and plugged it into the wall at a location not next to a computer or next to a router or wired network connection. My first idea was to set this up wirelessly so I can leave it a universally accessible location like my family room. Well playing with the 2 inch display and 10 digit keypad was becoming frustrating. The printer found my wireless SSID, I typed in the proper credentials but the wireless functionality never started. I then moved the printer next to the router and a computer which I should mention is a Netgear 802.11g router and an old G4 eMac running OS X.4.

Before I tried accepting this to my network, I decided to give it a static IP address on my router. I typed in the MAC address and the IP address I wanted. Then using the CLX-3175FW''s 2 inch screen and on-board menu, I entered that static IP into the network configuration. I plugged the printer using an ethernet cable into my router and typed the IP address in my Firefox browser on the eMac. It immediately opened the SyncThruWeb page and I was able to configure some settings.

I immediately tried to setup the wireless function. I tried ever possible configuration and disconnection of the ethernet cable possible. I could not get the wireless function started. I plan on calling Samsung when I have an hour to kill. At this point I decided to move onto the next couple tasks, setting up the printer and scanner, and maybe fax.

I downloaded the software from Samsung''s website: 1. Smart Panel 2. Print Driver and 3. Scan manager. I installed the Print driver first, then the scan manager, then the Smart Panel on the eMac. Once I did that, I opened up System Preferences and added the printer to the computer. Once that was done, the Smart Panel icon in the top right was active. I clicked it and was able to access all fucntions of set-up using Samsung Smart Panel. I decided to set-up scanning now.

Within the menu of the Smart Panel, there is an option for Scan Manager. On the eMac, I clicked this and I was able to locate the CLX-3175FW on my network. I set up a folder and two applications. First folder was just generic PDF scanning. My wife likes to scan bills and semi-important mail and documents. The ADF feeder will take 15 pages and scan a multipage PDF file. I then created an application prompt to open up Adobe Acrobat. I often use Acrobat to scan important work documents and need robust functionality to edit and review documents. I then set up a iPhoto application for when want to scan pictures from the flatbed, etc. Time to test.

I grabbed some mail, I had a 5 page wireless bill, and stuffed it into the ADF on-top. The Samsung beeps to let you know you are ready. I select the scan button and scroll right to select "Scan to PC" and click ok. I can see that it found my eMac so I click ok. It then sees the folder I setup called Bills/Mail so I select that. It then asks for color or gray, 300 DPI, etc. I click ok, ok, ok until it finally starts scanning. Immediately on a screen pops up on the eMac showing the progess of the scanned document. The scan finishes in less than a minute and immediately Preview opens up ans shows me my 5 pages scanned document....pretty slick.

I then decide to set up all this on my two laptops. I have a G4 iBook running OS X.4.11 and an Acer Netbook running Windows XP Home. As expected, the scanning function worked exactly the same on the other two computers. I am very happy with the scanning function. It works MUCH better than I could imagine. I use an MFP at work, Ricoh Aficio 161, and the Samsung software is much easier to use and gives better options for scanning to a networked folder. Kudos to Samsung on this one.

I then decided to try fax but I didn''t have much luck here because I have a VOIP system at home. I''ve tried many configurations and even tried calling Comcast for some possible answers but to no avail. Basically I can plug the fax using a standard phone cord into the my Comcast modem, my MTA has two ports. The fax will dial out but it doesn''t complete the fax. An error report will be printed out showing a No Answer error.

Overall, I am pleased. Having a network scanner and printer at home are great. If I can setup the wireless function I would be even happier so I can move this All-in-One unit to a more convenient location. But the network printer works great. The Samsung is set to sleep after 15 minutes and it wakes fast and responds to a network wake. I was able to send mulitple types of documents (PDF, Word, JPEG, internet prints) to the CLX-3175FW without a problem when attached to the network. I don''t have the USB cord plugged in. There is no need. No need to have an active computer, it will run solo. If you want to network scan, you need to have a computer online or setup a drive or folder on your network to act as a server. I plan to setup my NAS (Network Attached Storage drive) which is primarily a backup disc as a server for scanned info but so far its great.

I purchased this printer in the UK (since I live there). It is excellent. While in the USA, I purchased black toner cartridges for this printer. Be advised that ONLY toners purchased in the Euro States will work in the Euro (UK)machines. This is due to a security chip in the toner cartridge. Thus USA cartridges will only work in USA machines. Anyone want to buy 2 new (never used) black USA toner Cartridges-good price!

I got sick and tired of replacing my ink cartridge''s on my Lexmark inkjet printer at home so I went looking for a good laser colour to replace it. After an extensive search I came across this samsung printer and I was impressed with all the reviews so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed.

I have installed this as a network printer flawlessly using the wireless NIC then wired directly into my router. I have install the drivers flawlessly on my wife''s MAC, My dual boot Vista/Xp laptop, and my home Windows 7 device. The linux one is the only one I havn''t tested, but I will in a couple months on a VM.

The Printer it''s self is small for a multi-colour laser printer and fit''s perfectly in a little cabinet whole I made. It''s a little to big for my desk but that''s to be expected as for what it is.

I have printed various maps, documents, pdf''s, and I really can''t notice too much of a difference from my ink jet other then the brightness of the colour, but your going to get that with all Laser colours so I don''t count that as a negative.

I have tested the scanner and it scans and/or copies great the only issues I have is getting the scanner to scan connected over the network. I have not been able to fully attack this problem yet (gave it about 5 minutes of my time), but this is a known problem with alot of all-in one printer''s (not just samsung) that are 64 bit (which my machine is)

Overall though I have been most impressed with this Printer, and definitly recommend over it''s HP and Lenovo counterparts. I say this from years of IT work at 17,000 + employee hospital where I''ve worked with all types of printers and computers.

First, DO NOT DOWN LOAD ANY FIRMWARE UPDATE from Samsung. They prompted me to install a firmware upgrade for a "bug" in the printer copier. There has been no issue with it. All has been working fine. Until after the install. I have been buying off-label (Green Apple brand) toner/drum cartridges which save me a bit of money (not alot). I have 2 for backup. Immediately after installing the firmware upgrade, the copier will not recognize the toner. Saying "Incompatible toner cartridge installed". And will not work. I called customer service, and first they told me to uninstall the software. I said it can not be done, as it is a firmware, installed in the copier. They transferred me to a technician, who said that it has to be done by an authorized service center, and they said that since my copier is under warranty, I can bring it to a local service center to have the older firmware version 1 reinstalled. I called the facility, and asked them TWICE if this is a service they can do. They confirmed they can. I brought the printer over and left it for 4 days. Then called them. They said I''ll need to buy a new toner with Samsung brand. I said that the whole reason why I brought it over is to have the firmware reinstalled, and they had confirmed it can be done. Then today, a Samsung representative called me, saying that they will not allow the old firmware to be installed, as they specifically said in the manual that only Samsung toners can be used in these machines. To me, this is scandalous, to tell owners to install an update to fix a "bug" when the bug is simply the fact that they want to BLOCK you from using non-Samsung toner and drums. This is not a warranty issue with defective equipment, but an issue that SAMSUNG does not want people to use aftermarket or non-samsung products. BAD,BAD,BAD,BAD..... I will not recommend any SAMSUNG products to anyone!

I had the Sharp VX 1652 Calculator and it was starting to slow down a bit. Used it for 17 years. This is the exact key position as the VX 1652, so no adjustment period. Everything has been improved. Love the Calendar and Clock. And the Black color is great to have. Recommend it highly.

I wanted a solid and easy to use calculator. This one fits the bill perfectly. I debated purchasing the lighter weight Sharp model, but am glad I selected this one. It does have a significant ''footprint'' so you need a roomy desk, but it is quiet and there is no wobble when I use it, which I find irritating with smaller and lighter machines.

I like this adding machine mainly because the keys are where I''m use to having them. Why can''t adding machines be more universal? It seems once you get use to a certain "type" of machine, it''s very hard to change. I have one at work and two at home.

Prices of desk-top calculators continue to come down. But the quality of the products remains high. This is a wonderful calculator. I have been using Sharp products all my life...and will continue to do so!

My only complaint is that the product was pictured as ''off-white'' in color; but what I received was all black. Not a huge deal; but I would like to have known prior to purchasing.

This little printer is great. Paid $50 for it in the library because I didn''t want to have to go there every time to print. I have had it for about a month and it has had NO problems. The quality is fine but for the price it''s unbeatable. It fits nicely on a shelf on my desk. It''s so cheap what''s not to love about it! The biggest bonus is that the ink is more than half the price for this printer as it is for every other HP. $15! If you don''t need superior image quality, but you want a reliable small, color printer, this is it!

Yes, the printer''s got a great size, great style, and a great price--even for the ink. But this is probably because it eats through the ink so quickly! I''ve had mine for about two months, and I just started my third cartridge. Even given that the first cartridge might be a low-ink starter cartridge, that''s pretty fast! And I don''t think I print overly much, though I am in school, but I don''t think I''ve printed much more than 100 pages in that span--and all at Fast Draft, Grayscale.

I''ve just received my HP D2460 printer today. So far, so good. It was relatively easy to set up, except that the included cd-rom came with a bunch of extra software that isn''t needed for the printer (I just deselected the unnecessary software during installation). one HUGE problem is that this printer doesn''t come with a USB cable included in the box!!! Luckily, I had a USB cable from an old printer that I could use for this one. Make sure to buy a USB cable when you order this printer (or at least already have one available), or else you won''t even be able to connect it to your computer. They really should make it more clear that the printer doesn''t come with a USB cable in the box.

We got this printer last night and it works wonderfully for our family. We needed something cheap but that worked well.

I like this printer because it prints fast and that the paper sits horizontally at the bottom of the machine, instead of a vertical paper tray. I have no issues with its moderate use of ink because my ink cartridges usually dry out before I can use them up. Unfortunately, my printer arrived with a dry printer cartridge that I had to replace before I could start using it.

Dahle 14-1/8" Cut Professional Series Save 38% off

Dahle 14-1/8'' Cut Professional Series, High Capacity Rolling Blade Rotary Trimmer
  • Ground circular blade enclosed in a plastic housing
  • Self-sharpening blade cuts in either direction
  • Automatic see-through paper clamp
  • Adjustable backstop
  • Sturdy metal base

I have been a cardmaker and scrapbooker for years and have constantly been searching for the best paper trimmer. I kept going back to either my Fiskars (which is now 12 years old) or my rotary Cutterpede. Both are portable, but really lacked in accuracy and straight cutting.

I was looking for:

1. A trimmer that will cut multiple sheets of cardstock.

2. A trimmer that has easy to read measurements in 1/8" or smaller.

3. A trimmer that has a self-sharpening blade.

4. A trimmer that would cut straight and accurately.

I selected this Dahle. When it arrived I was shocked because it was much larger than I expected. I knew it wasn''t portable, but wow.. it''s huge! It takes up a good portion of my table. It seems study because it''s made with more metal than plastic. So how does it meet my expectations?

1. This trimmer can cut multiple sheets of cardstock, but not as many as I had hoped. I use Stampin'' Up cardstock. I can only cut 3 sheets at a time. When I tried to cut 4, I had to force the blade and ended up with rough edges on the cardstock.

2. This trimmer can cut in 1/16" increments. However, because of the guard and blade housing, you cannot cut a piece of paper that is smaller than 2". I found this to be very disappointing as I had even contacted Dahle and they confirmed that I could cut in 1/8". I guess they didn''t completely lie. You can cut 1/8" strips assuming you start with a sheet of paper that is larger than 2". Since I consistently cut things smaller than 2", this means I have much more waste now than before and I am having to pull out my old trimmers to finish the jobs.

3. I''ve only had the cutter for a couple of weeks, but the blade seems to be doing just fine. By now with the amount of cardstock I use, I would have already had to replace the Fiskars blade. The self-sharpening is a great feature. When it''s time to replace the blade, it''s going to be fairly expensive. Since this isn''t the "perfect" trimmer, I guess I''ll just buy a different one at that time.

4. I find that my cuts are straight and I love that. However, I am not sure about the accuracy. There is a guide that can be moved into place to ensure accuracy, but it''s not my favorite feature. When I push my paper up against it, I find that it moves causing me to end up with an uneven cut. Additionally, the guide doesn''t "lock" into any place, so it''s up to me to figure out if it looks like it''s on the right measurement. (When I put the guide up against what looks like say 1/2", it can be off by about 1/16".) I find that I''m not using the guide as much because it doesn''t help unless I''m doing the same cut repeatedly or are cutting smaller pieces (say 3") pieces of paper. My final concern with the guide is that it has magnets underneath to help keep it secure, but when you move it, it scrapes over the surface of the cutter. I fear that over time this scraping will remove the ruler markings and then the trimmer will be useless, at least for my purposes.

I really wanted to love this trimmer. I wanted it to give me years of paper cutting satisfaction. Unfortunately I think it''s just OK. It''s not the best trimmer for paper crafters. Maybe it''s more applicable for office applications? I''m going to keep it. not only because returning this big trimmer would cost a fortune, but because it does cut accurately and that makes it a huge improvement over my old paper trimmers. However, I will continue my search for the perfect crafter''s paper trimmer.

I tried a few $30-$50 paper cutters from local office supply stores and a local photography shop, they either didnt cut straight or weren''t smooth/clean. I wasnt sure about spending over $100 just to make cuts, but it is SOOO worth it. Excellent professional cuts every time!

I use this to cut 180 gsm sheets. Cuts are clean. I can shave edges to correct an error with no problem. Unit appears to be well made and solid. The price was very reasonable. The box arrived with some damage (puncture) but the unit inside was undamaged.

The "directions" provided with the unit are almost useless but aren''t really necessary.

It''s easy to forget just how bad Chinese products are until you can buy a fairly simple product manufactured in the free world.

I''ve tried the cheaper paper cutters sold at the big box office supply stores and was disappointed. This is a well made product. I did a little research prior to purchasing and replacement cutting wheels are available. Although if you stick to cutting paper, you will probably get many years of life from the original cutting wheel.

What kept me from giving this product 5 stars was the manual. It''s the worst I''ve ever seen. It''s almost completely devoid of words, and the pictures provided are almost completely useless.

I would tell the manufacturer the same thing I have told 3 year olds, "use your words".

The product was promptly shipped and well packed by Adorama.

GP Ink Jet and Laser Paper (998072C)

GP Ink Jet and Laser Paper, 8.5 x 11 Inches Letter Size, White, 3 Reams/Carton
  • 92 bright white, 24 lb heavyweight paper
  • 8.5 x 11 Inches letter size paper, Convenient size carton contains 3 reams of 500 sheets each/1500 total sheets
  • Manufactured with ColorLok Technology
  • Acid free for archivability
  • Sustainable Forestry Initiative Certified - Fiber Sourcing Standard

Normally I buy recycled paper by Georgia-Pacific. One of the things I find interesting is that this paper is packed much more environmentally friendly than the recycled paper! It is mailed in a box with 3 reams wrapped in paper (the recycled paper is wrapped in plastic which I hate). The box is very easy to open & it is made to be a perfect fit for the paper. Therefore it is easy to retrieve more paper when I need it & very convenient to store.

From what I can tell it is no brighter than the recycled paper at 92 brightness. You get the same amount of sheets as well. The only difference (besides the packaging) is the weight of the paper. It is considered heavy weight at 24. My usual paper is 20.

I think it is the weight of the paper that gives it the nicer feel. I really cannot speak for the Colorlok technology. I know that my documents appear nicer to me but I''m not sure if that is thanks to the Colorlok or thanks to the thickness or both.

For everyday use I plan on sticking with their recycled paper. When I want to present a more professional looking document or anything I feel a thicker paper is needed I will use this.

Overall I think it''s a fine paper. It jammed only once in my printer & that was most likely my fault as I filled the paper tray pretty good. The recycled paper doesn''t jam a lot but it does on occasion. Possibly because it''s thinner. I''m not a paper expert. Because the recycled paper is cheaper & better for the environment, I would recommend it over this if the quality of your documents is not a concern. If you need a more professional look I strongly recommend this paper over the recycled.

One last thing, even though this isn''t recycled it is from Certified Fiber Sourcing. Sustainable Forestry Initiative. :)

I usually use the generic laser paper from a large office supply chain. I didn''t think Georgia Pacific''s would be much different. Hah.

There''s little visible difference between the text appearance but the FEEL of the paper is tremendously better. The generic is 20lb, GP is 24. I didn''t think that was a big deal but the generic felt like tissue compared to the GP. When you''re trying to make an impression the feel counts as well.

I imagine that the slight extra stiffness would help to avoid paper jams but I didn''t have a chance to print enough pages to notice a difference.

A solid choice for your presentation.

This paper is nice, works great and the price is fair. I use it for mainly general purpose, B&W printing and so have not tried it with my color laser yet, but it seems like great quality paper with a nice surface and feel. No complaints and can easily recommend this paper for general use.

Want GP Ink Jet and Laser Paper (998072C) Discount?

For some, just grabbing any paper and shoving it in the printer works just fine. That may be OK for draft copies, but if you want excellent printed results that are worthy of letters that stand out or for presentation work, this GP Ink Jet and Laser Paper, 8.5 x 11 Inches Letter Size does a commendable job. It''s packed in three reams of 500 sheets each, so you get 1500 sheets per carton.

Some may prefer the medium-weight 20 lb papers for general use and because more sheets will fit into the printer''s paper tray. I''ve long preferred the 24 lb heavyweight paper because of its more solid and authoritative feel, and it''s not as transparent as the lighter weight papers. Contrast is the key element between the toner or ink and the paper, and the whiter the paper, the better your printed results will look. Most contemporary papers will have a brightness rating between 80 and 100, and the higher number, the brighter the paper. As far as brightness goes, this one is rated as a 92 bright white paper, which offers excellent results for black & white documents and most color presentations.

If brilliant presentation-grade color is a necessity with a well-calibrated inkjet printer, then you may want to consider the GP Spectrum Premium All-In-One Printing Paper, 8.5 x 11 Inches Letter Size, 96 Extra Bright White. This is also a 24 lb, so transparency issues that may be present with lighter weight papers are eliminated, but compare your results with the 92 bright white papers and see which works best for you.

I like the fact that this GP Ink Jet and Laser Paper is not only acid free for achievability, but is manufactured with ColorLok Technology, a process that offers special additives which result in faster drying time, better colors and richer blacks. Georgia-Pacific is just one of the companies using this process, and it''s another reason that I like GP papers.

So what about paper airplanes?

Kids (and those young at heart) can go through a lot of paper when making paper airplanes, so this 24 lb paper may be more cost-effective than some cheap copy paper when making some of these projects, which often fail due to flimsy paper, resulting in paper waste with each successive effort. The book Ultimate Paper Airplanes offers step-by-step instructions for making paper planes of all types, and contains pictures for each step so you can easily do it yourself. And this is an ideal paper for making paper airplanes.

Bottom Line:

This bright white paper offers a professional look to all printing projects, yet it''s reasonable enough for general draft and everyday use. You can spend more and get less, so this one offers very cost-effective results as a paper you can use regularly without swapping paper in printer trays. Whether your needs are for good black & white documents or effective color presentations, this is an excellent choice... and yes, it''s a topnotch choice for paper airplanes.

7/6/2012

This GP paper produces very good quality printed pages. It is heavy enough that there is no bleed through. It is 24 weight which makes the pages feel more substantial than the usual 20 weight pages. It is very white at 92 whiteness although not brilliant white. A bonus is this paper is acid free so it won''t break down it is archival quality. I have been pleased with the quality.

My only quibble is you can see a very faint darker stripe down the length of the page that I would prefer not to have on the paper. It is so faint that many people probably won''t notice it.

  • Colors cling to the smooth uniform surface, offering perfect reproduction on all forms of imaging equipment.

This paper works wonderfully in my printer (a Canon I860). This is no wrinkly lightweight paper that feels cheap to the touch. The ink on the printed page looks crisp and even on this smooth, heavyweight paper. Gives a very professional appearance. I''ll probably buy this paper again from Amazon rather than trudge down to Office *** or Staples to buy the bargain stuff.

Yes, these Brother toners do only count the number of pages printed to determine the amount of toner left. When one of the CMY color runs out, they all run out at the same time. Even though the printer may say its completely out of toner, that might not be the case always. To reset the toner (if you know there''s ample amount of toner still left), unscrew the two screws on the side, pop off the side cover, and turn the gray gear wheal counterclockwise 90 degrees.

Overall, these toners are fantastic. Highly recommend.

Brother color printers are set to ''run out'' of toner after a set number of color pages printed. So there is often plenty of toner left in the cartridge.

To reset the 9440cn printer, turn the printer on and open the toner access main door. You get a ''door open'' message on the LCD. Press Clear/Back and you get the toner reset menu. You can then reset the carts by hand using the up/down arrows and the 1 key to select reset.

At the end the printer will report all the carts as full. You can then replace them when they are empty, not when it suits the planned obsolescence dept.

The toner cartridges for the Brother 4070cdw work very well, there were no issues for the ease of use and consistancy or quality. the only negitive to report is the number of copies expected from there advertising versis the number of actual was very low about 50% of the expected. many conditions may have caused this but in a nutshell there could be much more toner in these cartridges for the cost of each. they are great products but at a cost per copy that is much to high in comparison to others.

These toners are easy to install. One thing though, after the first warning of these toners being low I take them out and check the little round window to see if there is still toner. If there is, I wind back the gear with a peg on it back to its original position. I recently did this with all three colors as it was reported they were going low. After winding back the gears, the printer performed perfectly for another month with a moderate amount of color printing. Finally, the low toner warnings went off again and since there appeared no more toner, I installed new ones. I have a closet full of these consumables and look forward to many great years printing with these printers. (We have 6 of them)

*EDIT 12/20/10*

We''ve 3 more of these printers now. Here is something important you should know along with the above information:

Hidden Menus

**Toner Reset Menu Open front door of printer. Press the ''clear'' button once or twice. There are two capacities for each color. It will start counting down from whichever you choose.

**Everything Else Reset Menu Press ''3'' and ''9'' at the same time. Hidden reset menu will appear. Select item, select reset.

Although the photo shows an original Brother box, what I received was not. They sent something that said it was "Premium" toner manufactured in a "certified" plant. The seller definitely misrepresented the product.

Hey Hewlet Packard is a great company with great products. I have a Apollo P-1200 printer and instead of paying 40.00 for this cartridge in stores I pay 31.00 for it here. The cartridges (both color and black last forever so don''t worry about running out of ink with a little heavy printing. I got my printer back in June of 1999 and this is the end of September and it''s nowhere near gone. I have printed over 400 sheets. It''s a good product and a good company. Cartrages never leak ink and there easy to install. Definitely worth the money.

The provider of the ink cartridge messed-up and sent me the wrong product, but after contacting them, they corrected the order and I had it in a couple days (correct ink) and a return mailer to send the wrong ink back at no shipping cost to me. That was impressive!

It seems like I have owned a Hewlett-Packard Desk Jet 500 forever. It prints slowly and only in black and white, but it has not broken down in all the years I''ve owned it. The HP 26 Black Ink Cartridge is perfect for this printer. I''ve tried substitute brands and they usually clog after a while. This has never happeneded with this brand of cartdrdge. And I always feel like I got my money''s worth by the time it does run out of ink.

I buy this black ink for my old Apollo P-1200. I have it in a box for a long time. But i need aditionals printers for my post-grade tesis and i print a lot of previews. I try to give my apollo to my childs and i take my deskjet 3200 for real stuff. Its a lot of ink for my kids but a little slow for them. The cartrige comes very good packed and i put inmediatelly in the old printer and after configuring the resolution came to life again.

The only bad point is that the delivery get a lot of hits and when i put out of the package i get spots of ink in my hands, after cleaned was ok.
