I am extremely happy with this new printer of Kodak''s. Finally a company has the %&lls to break away from the pack. Basically to make a long story short, I ordered this from Amazon, even though it says ships in 3 to 4 months ( at the time I ordered), it still shipped the very next day. Now I see it is in stock. I pull it out of the box and set the whole printer up with my computer and wireless in about 30 mins. Super easy! It is a very quiet printer, looks great and user friendly. The best part was the set up of the wireless, which after downloading the software for the printer onto your computer, you then turn on your Kodak printer, it searches for all the wireless signals available in and around your house, just like your laptop. you then see the list, pick yours, and you are wireless and off to the races! Done! The printer has worked perfectly for me for about 2 months now. Great quality, and I have done a ton of colorful labels as well. THAT''S NOT THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS PRINTER! What is the biggest complaint about printers, all brands....INK right? The printer companies love to gouge us all on the ink$$. Well Kodak has broken out of the pack and want''s to carve out a quality niche for themselves. Their ink is the cheapest in the industry. Not only that but the printer came with a FULL, yes you read right, a FULL set of ink cartridges, not the usual half full scheme. I know that because the printer utility shows me a colored diagram of the ink levels and they were full from the beginning, and I have printed a lot so far and am only half way through the ink according to the diagram. Also, when i went into the the big office supply store to get more ink, I was standing there trying to remember the model number correctly so i could then buy the right ink cartridge. The employee asked if she could help and then told me don''t worry about the type of printer, ALL Kodak''s printers take the SAME! ink cartridge. Wow! That is simple and easy. And the best part.. an entire color cartridge with a separate black cartridge in the same box, cost me only $24 total!. That''s it! Yes! Finally.

I originally went out and bought the typical popular brand name HP printer and took it home. Then I read the reviews...not good. So I took it back, having not even opened the box, and then spent hours reviewing and looking up printers, but one thing sat in the back of my mind. I had asked the printer salesman what printer he would buy and he walks me right to the Kodak printers and said these ones, good printer and the cheapest ink. He said he just bought one for himself. That''s what made me finally look up Kodak printers. I really liked the brand new line of Kodak printers that was just coming out over these last several months. It''s obvious that when Kodak decided to to break away from the pack with cheaper ink, they then redesigned there entire printer line and came up with a terrific printer with a great modern look, user friendly and easy to set up. Thank you Kodak! Give one of these printers a try everyone. Give up paying an arm and leg for ink and get a great printer to boot! PS Only 4 our to 5 stars because I have only had the printer for two months. It will have to earn that last star over time. :)

I recently purchased this printer. Easy setup, flawless wireless use, and prints quickly, etc.

I''ve used HP wireless...and maybe it was just the model I had, but it would go to sleep and never wake up.

I would have to get up and go into the office and reboot it every day.

The Kodak, so far, is working flawlessly. I would reccommend it to all.

Thank you HP for all the great years, but you''ve been outdone in ALL-IN-ONE printers. The KODAK ESP OFFICE 6150 was easy to set up. Took under 15 minutes and I was printing! WOW! Ink is a lot cheaper too. It is well built, unlike all the printers made today. I had not have had to buy a printer in 7 yrs and was amazed how cheaply made they all were. This machine stands out as a solidly bult machine. It is fast and sleek looking. It is priced right too. You will not be disappointed. Read it''s capabilities. I read all the reviews on all the ALL-IN-ONES before deciding. I am happy to give this machine 5 Stars.

LESS THAN 1 YEAR LATER: JAMS, RUNS LOW ON INK TOO OFTEN, NOW PRINTER HEAD IS MALFUNCTIONING. IF YOU ARE OUT OF INK, YOU CAN''T SCAN OR FAX I GIVE IT A 1/2 STAR

I''ve tried them all: Canon (worked like a champ but didn''t last mechanically); HP (second mortgage to buy ink); Brother (worst interface software on the planet and a cartridge management system that has you throwing ink away; and Dell, (actually borrowed this one, not bad and reminds me of the Kodak.) Alright, so enough about what hasn''t worked. The Kodak set-up couldn''t have been easier (I used the USB interface) and it didn''t spend half the day running ink through "set-up testing." Some have complained about configuring the Wi-Fi but after examining their remarks and looking through the instruction manual myself what I can tell you is this: if you don''t know what a local IP address is, you shouldn''t be using Wi-Fi at all. The scanning feature brings up the PC software automatically and asks you only two questions: "Where do you want to save the file and what file type do you want to use?" Simplicity defined. I really like the LCD display as it gives you positive feedback as to what the printer is doing; it''s a not a feature unique to Kodak but it was new to me. This model can print duplex and the first time I used it I thought it was broken as the page ejected after printing the front and then voila! The printer took the page back and I had a great duplex print. The alignment between front and back was very good for a system that doesn''t roller pathway the sheet. This printer does what it is supposed to do and at $149, it''s a bargain. Does it have any negatives? Yea, a few. It''s a little loud but I simply turn up my YouTube video. The ink will saturate lesser grade papers when you duplex print so that they warp somewhat but on intermediate to high quality bond the problem disappears. On premium photo paper, the Kodak has the best color rendition I''ve seen in this price range and the images are quite sharp. The manual, although thorough, lacks a good index so you have to hunt your way around to find certain things. Overall, if you don''t want to cough up a few thousand for a color laser (which can''t fax or scan), this is the AIO for you.

My old HP wouldn''t scan with my new iMac. So I shopped around and found this printer. It came from Amazon promptly and at first worked very well. However, first it stopped fax''ing. After long calls with support, I finally got it working. Then it stopped scanning. After emails and long conversations with support, they told me to uninstall the software and start over. That worked for a while, then stopped and I had to go through the whole drill again. Then it stopped printing. It would go to sleep and would only wake up if I turned off the machine and turned it back on. Then, that wouldn''t work either, and I had to unplug it and plug it back in before it would print. Then that stopped working too. Kodak support kindly mailed me another printer.

After a while the new printer started the old ones tricks. Now it won''t even print if I unplug it and plug it back in. It is out on the porch waiting for the electronic recycler to pick up . . .
