Buy HP D1455 Deskjet Printer (Color) Now
I have this printer for almost a year now. My last HP was great!! I purchased this one new on Ebay. At first everything was fine. But now sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn''t. For example right now I am trying to print something. The light is not blinking to let me know there is a problem and when I open the printer folder on my desktop, the document is waiting YET NOTHING...This happens often. Also it takes too many pages at once and then they all get jammed up. Well, you get what you pay for. It was definitively cheap. I recommend you just buy a better printer the first time around!this is a great printer it prints at high speeds with good detail and folds into a small appliance for the person with a cluttered desk it is perfect and uses little inkI''ve had this printer for a couple years and it works fine. It prints quickly if not noiselessly and the print quality is good. Ink costs about $30 for a combo black/color pack. Similar to another reviewer, I did have many problems trying to print labels/business cards, and I eventually gave up on them. Besides that, this is a good, basic printer, and I have no major complaints. What a huge pile of steaming dung. If someone offers you one of these for free, run the other way as fast as you can go. Lots of paper jambing problems. And ink cartriges that are probably almost empty when new. The old HP printers were great about 10 yrs before this junk was produced. Lately i have been very disappointed with HP products. I was a huge fan once. My old 812c still works like a charm and was built like a tank. This thing was a problem from the get go. If and when it works, it works decently. But thats not often enough. Into the dumpster you go. Or maybe target practice with my rifle. Less than one star from me.
