There are a lot of suppliers of full-sheet adhesive labels, many offering discount pricing. We''ve tried several brands and have now standardized on using only 3M labels. Some 8.5x11 labels we tried weren''t even cut to the correct size. The main reason we now use only 3M labels isn''t the label, but the backing! The side of the label you probably are NOT thinking about when purchasing, becomes the most important side when laying out a label for cutting etc. The 3M label is one of the only labels we could find with the backing paper scored at 45 deg angles on the back, making it possible to create 2-up or 4 up labels on one of these sheets, and always have a score line on the backing to peel the backing away for ease of label application. Highly recommended !

You do get a lot of full sheet labels in this pack from 3M, but sadly they are rather thin & the scored waxed paper backing is infuriatingly difficult to remove. (It will likely take 2 of these sheets layered on top of each other to cover-up any old package labels/markings/writing. So-so.) Maybe better to pay a little more (Avery) for better quality. Probably ok if you don''t don''t have to do a whole lot of mailing at once or are starting with clean packages/boxes. Fine going through a laser printer.

We have a small business and hand label hundreds of containers after hand cutting them to a custom size to fit the containers. Here is the scoop: first off even if you do have one of the diagonal backing cuts for "easy removal" you will have to pick at it over and over to get it to start. This is bad enough. If you do not have a cut in the backing on a particular section then it is over, finished, done, kaput. You WILL NOT get the backing off from any edge no matter how hard you try. I am going to find out how well their satisfaction guarantee is because this is going back. I work in the electrical industry and am usually very happy with 3M products and am quite familiar with them. I am greatly disappointed in how thin these labels are and how difficult to use. Try again 3M!

This box of labels is a good price and we ordered to save the money, but regret it now because they are a dingy white... almost like a thin Newsprint Paper in washed out white. I wouldn''t order them again.

I ordered a pack of 100 and they came with "cover-up technology". That was not shown on the picture here. I''ve got these by mistake before and do not work for my purposes. I place them on new white paper (not covering anything up). The "cover-up technology" uses some type of silver backing on the label so old labels and writing do not show through. This causes the front of the label to be slightly greyish and does not match new white paper. If you are using these to cover up old packaging it is probably great for you. If you want it to look seemless on a white background, probably not so much.
