The Artisan 725 does a great job at all the tasks for which I use it. I was especially impressed with the quality of its B&W photo prints. I see none of the green or blue tints I experienced with my Stylus R260, even though both printers use the same Claria ink sets. The dual compartment paper tray allows me to keep standard 8.5x11 inkjet paper in the lower section and 4x6 glossy photo paper in the upper. I use the 4x6 paper to make "proof" photo prints and then put 8.5x11 photo paper in the lower section to make final prints.
Duplex printing and copying is quick and easy. You can select copy features from the printer''s control panel just as you do with a commercial copier. I have never printed on CDs with this or any other printer, so I cannot comment on that feature.
The built-in control panel made it easy to setup as a wireless printer. With the free Epson iPrint app, I can easily print photos from my iPod Touch.
The only potential drawback is the Artisan 725 cannot be installed as both a USB connected device and a wireless device. You have to choose one or the other. If you need both types of connections, you will have to buy the Artisan 730 or higher model.
