We had been searching for one of the old-time Polaroid instant cameras to use in our Vacation Bible School so we could make instant pictures of the children for use in a craft. We discovered the Polaroid PoGo printer and since it was so inexpensive, we decided to give it a try. Wow, we are really impressed with this little printer! We are able to print out instant photos from our cell phones, our digital camera, and after getting a bluetooth adapter we can print from our laptop computer too! This printer makes excellent high quality photos without using any ink. Of course the higher the quality camera makes better photos so don''t expect professional looking prints from your cell phone camera, but, when printing photos from my Canon Digital SLR the photos are extremely sharp.

The re-chargeable battery life is not very long (about 15 pictures worth) but you can leave it plugged up to the AC adapter and print all day long.

We have been able to connect to the Bluetooth feature with Blackberry, and through a D-Link bluetooth adapter connected to our laptop. We have used it connected via USB with our Canon Digital SLR camera, and a Kodak Easyshare camera.

The zink paper is fairly cheap, around for 30 sheets. Right now Amazon has an 80-pack for about 25 dollars. We love the fact that you can peel off the back of the sheet and stick the photos in scrap books and on various crafts.

We highly recommend the PoGo.

I wasn''t until I got it, opened it and tried to use it that I found out it won''t work with any iThings. SInce I had opened it, I was charged a restocking fee...which I suppose is fair, but there was no way to know (that I could see) that it wouldn''t work with Apple until I got the package open and read the detailed instructions. Printer was packaged up fine but was obviously sitting on the shelf for a few years as the battery was totally dead and wouldn''t charge and the paper packs included expired in Jan 2010 and I bought this in January 2013! Seller was good enough to refund battery costs so I could purchase another one elsewhere but this was a bit of a let down as this whole package was intended for a gift so the recipient was made to wait until it was all sorted out

If you''re buying this to go with your iPhone, don''t. It doesn''t work with iPhones. It uses a type of Bluetooth that Apple doesn''t use. That''s kind of crazy how most of everyone in the world has an iPhone haha, oh well. Highly upset that it doesn''t have a list of phones it does and doesn''t work with. Probably wouldn''t of bought it knowing it didn''t work with her iPhone. Oh well, it''s here and the packaging was already thrown away. So, after some trial and error we got it to work with her Canon Rebel t2i. No the quality isn''t great, and sometimes the pics come out looking over exposed, but, for what it does, it does it well, I''m very satisfied with its prints from the canon, does it do it justice? No. Does it print cute, itty itty poloroid type pics fully developed in under 2 minutes? Yes.

Just beware if you''re buying this for an iPhone (3, 3G, 4, 4S, 5) it will NOT WORK.

I have a Lexmark Z22. I use the photo cartridge, along with the HP Premuim Plus paper (not the premium -the premium PLUS), and I get fantastic results. Mind you, I''m not doing digital photography for sale; I''m printing baby pictures for framing and making memory books, but I''m really surprised. The quality is as good as what you get from WebShots, and I have the added advantage of being able to crop and edit at-will with Photoshop. Plus, you don''t have the nonsense of trying to load all of the pages up onto the Web. I''m very satisfied, and I admit, really pleasantly surprised.

If you like to print pictures you better have this cartridge. I printed some pictures with the regular cartridges that came with my Lexmark Z52 and they came out alright but skin tones didn''t come out all that great. When I got this cartridge my pictures came out so good you couldn''t tell the difference between them and a real print. The cartridge is kind of expensive when printing pictures it sometimes will be gone with 20 prints. But its no doubt worth it compared to actually paying for developing pictures.

HP Photosmart D7260 Printer

This printer was a very pleasant surprise. It literally does everything you could need for any photo printing you''d like to do at home. The touchscreen is utilized correctly where even a very novice user can feel comfortable using this printer.

The network connectivity option is wonderful. I just wish it has wireless capabilities.

I have always been happy with HP''s quality and performance vs. price when it comes to printers. If this machine had a scanner built in, it would be the greatest printer on the market for imaging. The ink cartridges are very inexpensive when compared to other printers and the cartriges can print about 250 3" x 5" photos in high resolution.

With very fast prints, excellent document queue and printing speeds this printer is an excellent addition for homes with avid digital photo takers.

I just hooked up my HP D7260 and the first picture that I printed just blew my mind as to how clear and percise it was. The picture was completely dry when it came out. I used to have to lay my prints out to completely dry. The speed of the printing as also great. I can''t say enough about this printer. I have a love/hate relationship with this printer, and if I had it to do all over again, I don''t think I''d buy it. The prints are amazing. Even in the lower quality settings, it really prints beautifully. But it flies through ink. I have owned it since November and I have replaced some cartridges several times (but some of them I haven''t replaced at all. Go figure.)The ink is very pricey. It also jams very easily, regardless of the type of paper used. The door to clear the jam is way at the back, and has to be completely removed to access it (it''s not on a hinge). The reason I bring this up is that if you have your printer in a hutch type of shelf, like I do, it can be really difficult to access the back to clear these jams 3 times a week, and especially difficult to close it back up again. I have a few other pet peeves, like the messages that pop up on every single computer on the network all the time, but those are minor compared to the ink and paper jam issues.

Let me start off by saying if you need a photo printer this one is good. The prints come out great. They are very high res for an inkjet at this price point. But the quality doesn''t stop at photo paper, it prints great documents on sheet paper, transparencies come out good, as well as on card stock. (however be aware, the printer does not like to feed card stock on its own, so you have to help it along.) That being said I''ve never had a jam. NOT ONCE!

If you have a router near by and multiple computers, the network printing has never given me an issue. It basically set itself up and required no tweaking or intervention from me. (and I have 3 desktops and 2 laptops that print to it regularly.)

There is one minor issue, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. This printer used 6 separate ink cartridges for color and black. This is one of the reasons I bought it instead of a printer with 1 cart for black and 1 for color (which inevitably runs out of one color before the other 2). But, the HP02 ink cartridges are not very big. So if you do alot of printing, be prepared to go through quite a few of these. But at $8-10 a cart for color and a bit more for black it didn''t bother me near as much as the $18 a piece ones I had to buy for my previous Epson. Which brings me to why them being small can be a good thing. If you are an infrequent user, they are less likely to dry up with lots of good ink in them. If it does happen you are only out a $8 cart (minus whatever ink usage you got out of it) instead of an almost $20 one. Another issue I had with the Epson was the nozzle clogging. Let me say it has never been an issue with this HP.

Would I buy again. Absolutely. In fact when in the future it becomes necessary, I''ve been so impressed with this HP over my previous Epsons and Lexmarks I will be looking at the HP large format inkjets.

These note cards are not substantial at all. Unfortunately, they are flimsy and unsubstantial. If you want elegant note cards, these are not the ones. However, the are just what I was looking for -blank note cards that you can pass through the printer. I used them for custom photography with OK results. If you want to really impress people, buy higher quality card stock.

This is a good product although I wish a heavier cardstock had been used. These note cards are fine for casual use but are not professional quality. Still, I am thankful that they are available because papers and cardstock appropriate for laser printers are hard to find in stores.

When the cartridges are new, they work just fine with the HP mobile printer. But the seller sent me cartridges that had expired in 1998. I didn''t realize this when they arrived but I did just recently when I tried to use one. The ink had leaked out and jammed the mechanism. No amount of cleaning helped. So I''m out some $70 on worthless merchandise. Shame on the seller.

Having five kids in school who all use our networked printer, we go through at least one printer a year.

Because of this, we tend to buy a solid printer that is "cheap" on ink, has good text quality and the ability to print good quality photos from our digital camera.

We purchased the PIXMA IP3000 here at Amazon for several reasons. 1) The price was right. After applying for the Amazon credit card, we were rewarded with a $30 discount off our first purchase using the new credit card. 2) The reviews from other websites rated the PIXMA IP3000 as a high quality buy. 3) We have had outstanding luck with other Canon printers.

After a tiring year for our Canon S630, she died a quick and painless death. We were amazed that the S630 lated as long as it did. When I say we print alot, I mean ALOT. It is not unusual for us to go through a 500 count ream of paper every month. This does not include photo printing, T-shirt transfer printing and various school project prints. Having been extremely satisfied with the S630, we did our research on the PIXMA IP3000 and decided to purchase it.

Though we have only had it a few days, we can tell a big difference in the print quality. The PIXMA IP3000 uses a new technology called "FINE" which micro-manages the print head and the use of ink. This formula has made a great difference in photo printing. The quality is really amazing. We were very happy with the photo printing on the S630, but the PIXMA IP3000 has improved photo printing 100%.

The PIXMA IP3000 is a very sleek looking machine, and looks very nice in our computer room. Once closed up, you don''t even know it is a printer. The duel paper feed system is a huge plus, the lower cassette will hold about 150 sheets of plain paper.

The bundled software seems to be of good quality, but we use Photo Shop for all our printing needs. The PIXMA IP3000 comes shipped with full versions of each ink tank, not the 1/5 filled ink tanks like many companies have went to.

We paid $92.17 for the printer, minus the $30.00 credit card reward for a total purchase price of $62.17. As our old S630 used the same ink tanks as the PIXMA IP3000 does, we felt that since the printer was shipped with 4 full ink tanks, we almost got this printer for free!

We used the "free shipping" option yet still received the printed via UPS in 3 days.

If this printer holds up for a year with this quality, we were be extremely happy.

Of note, the printer does NOT come with a USB cable.

I am a certified technician for Canon (and other manufacturers) printers, and I can run down a few of the strong/weak points of this model. Overall, this is a good machine for occasional users, but doesn''t deliver the best quality available. It''s a good machine for what it is, and most breakdowns that I''ve seen are due to user error.

Pros:

-very fine (2pl) droplet size gives good resolution.

-separate ink tank and print head for lower-cost supplies.

-easy to use, simple interface.

Cons:

-four color system (black, cyan, magenta, yellow) doesn''t give the true depth of image colors (look for 6 colors, with photo cyan and photo magenta, or 8 with photo red and photo green for better results)

-limited ppm output speed

-inks tend to dry if printer is left unattended for extended periods of time

How to keep your inkjet printer functional:

The top reason for printer failure (particularly microfine printers) is use of incorrect ink tanks. Do not use discount inks from other companies, they aren''t formulated for the very small droplet size of this printer. Don''t use ink refill kits, either. The printhead is not usually replaced with ink cartridges, and can easily be clogged by substandard inks. Also, make sure you print something at least once a week to keep the inks fresh. You can print just a nozzle check (press and hold the rest button until the green light blinks for the second time) to refresh the cartridge with a minimum of expended ink.

The Canon Pixma iP3000 printer is, simply put, an excellent combination of great printing quality, unbelievable speed (for an inkjet) and family-friendly affordability.

After years of making dye-based printers, Canon is now making inkjet printers. The advantage of ink over dye is ink-printed photos will not fade over time, at least not as fast as dye. Color ink formula has improved a lot over the last three years, to the point that they will stay vibrant for many years to come. (Of course, only time will tell whether ink photos will last "forever.")

The boxy iP3000 is not a beauty to behold, but impresses everyone in the family with its excellent image quality (very good for text, excellent for photos) and fast speed. With our old Epson printer it used to take five minutes to print a photo at 150dpi in fine mode. With the iP3000, that was cut down to less than a minute and a half, and the same picture looked better this time around, too. Yes, for those of us environmentalists, the printer can print double-sided. Whether that tends to wear down the paper feed mechanism is unknown. So far, at least it hasn''t had a paper jam. (Knock on wood.)

One of the best things about Canon printers (except the much cheaper iP1500) is they use individual ink tanks, and the replacement tanks are fairly priced, so there''s no need to buy a new cartridge to replace all the colors when only one runs out. The iP3000 is also quieter than my Epson and HP.

This holiday season, if you want a family-friendly, high-quality printer, the Pixma iP3000 is by far the best choice. It strikes the perfect balance between function+quality and price.

The Pixma iP3000 has performed flawlessly, and is an exceptional value.

(a) The printer is quick, and the output is very sharp. (Please note that I have not printed any photos yetjust web pages and documents).

(b) The printer can duplex pages automatically (prints on both sides of a page). This is very handy when printing documents with many pages. Duplexing appears to slow the printer down a little, but it is still quick.

(c) The iP3000 has two paper slots so you can either load up a large quantity of plain paper, or use the tray for photo paper, and the top feed for plain paper.

(d) The printer uses 4 ink tanks, which can be replaced individually. This will help reduce ink costs (compared to replacing ink cartridges in other printers).

(e) Some newer digital cameras can be connected directly to the printer to produce photo prints, so you don''t have to bother transferring the images from the camera to your PC first. (I haven''t tried this yet).

Two potential "negatives" can be (1) some Epson printers allow printing directly onto CDs/DVDs, while the Canon doesn''t have this functionality, and (2) compared to the Canon i560, the Pixma iP3000 has a larger footprint. Although I like the smaller i560 footprint, I value the features in the iP3000 more.

I bought this printer as an upgrade to my dinosaur HP Inkjet (it had to have been over 10 years old), and must say I''m very pleased so far. However, before I go any further, you should know that the printer does NOT ship with a USB cable to connect it to your computer. This is kind of disappointing, considering you''ll have to spend another $20 just to hook it up to your computer. Aside from that, I am satisfied!

The first thing one is likely to notice is the design, which is sleek, simple, and well thought out. The front has two buttons, one of which will cancel a print job in progress. The other button changes the paper feed tray, of which there are two. There is also a port on the front that allows PictBridge enabled cameras to connect and print without the need of an intervening computer.

For its price, this printer is packed with a plethora of useful features. One feature that was intrigueing was automatic on and off-the printer turns on when you need it, and off when not in use. This option needs to be configured via the Control Panel. Another useful feature is automatic duplexing. In other words, the iP3000 can print two-sided pages without human intervention. How cool is that!

Print quality and speed on this model continue to leave me grinning. The test page was printed in a matter of seconds, and a test 4x6 print came out relatively fast (Canon''s claim of 36 seconds per print seems correct). Text is crisp, and colors are fairly accurate. The test 4x6 print was a little darker than the same one when it was printed at Kinko''s, but they also have something like 8 different ink colors (versus the iP3000''s 4), so that''s to be expected!

Anyways, to cut a long story short, this printer is an amazing value at just under $100.

I have used an Epson for several years, being loyal to the brand, but have grown intolerant of the printing quality. No matter how much I calibrated the printer, I still go blue streaks everywhere for normal printing. Very frustrating.

The PIXMA MP280 has satisfied that need. It comes with a bunch of bells and whistles, but I was looking for something I would use every day to print, scan and copy, something to replace my Epson printer and Epson scanner (two separate components). This fit that need very well.

The price would lead you to believe that its quality is not very good. However, unless you''re a photographer or graphic artist who requires really high resolution output onto really good paper, this is a fine addition to the office.

With that said, here are some notes:

First, you need to supply your own USB printer cable for this device. The printer does not come with one. Personally, I find this to be a huge miss. No manufacturer should assume that any customer has all the tools for the job. It''s the same cable I use for my Epson, so I''m fine. This is such an easy way to make it easier on the end user. Therefore, this is a big miss.

SETUP AND INSTALLATION: I''m on a Mac, so setup was complete and I was printing in under 30 minutes. The manual says you need at least 20 minutes for software installation, but mine was installed in less than 10.

OUTPUT: Color printing was satisfactory. Nothing that I could hang on a wall (but I don''t need it.) At standard printing, the color output was insanely slow less than two pages per minute. If you use color printing at the "fast" selection, not much quality is sacrificed, and the printing came out to about four pages per minute. For black and white, the printing was again satisfactory, with about six pages per minute. As a note: In relation to the IPM, the problem with that measurement is that while we all print images, 99% of the time they are still on regular 8.5x11 paper. So the image could be nice, but the paper still has to come out. What I printed above were pdfs, and the color was SLOW.

COPYING: Very easy. One button for color or black and white with satisfactory output. The copier warming up takes longer than the copy itself a total of about 30 seconds.

SCANNING: Again, satisfactory. The DPI is not very high, but this is an everyday scanner. Most of the customers would be people who want to share images on Facebook.

COLOR CARTRIDGES: One of the things I hated about my old Epson was that I had to change out color cartridges about once every two months. I have run several dozen color prints through this and it''s now telling me that I need a color refill. Ugh. So I''m not thrilled that I may face the same situation with this one.

Overall, three stars. This is a solid printer for everyday use, and I like the compact size with the all-in-one features. The lack of a USB printer cable and the fact that it doesn''t do a very good job with color ink consumption keep me from giving this really high marks. But this has a place in a home where it will see a lot of output, perhaps in a home with school-age children or home office.

A good all-in-one, worth the money.

Using a PC, total set up time was about 30 minutes from unpacking to printing the first page. But it started out badly:

There was no USB Printer Cord in box, so if I didn''t have an extra around the house, I wouldn''t have been able to hook this up to my computer. There should have been a note that this would not be in the box, not just an omission of what IS in the box.

Ink cartridge insertion was very easy. I must say, btw, that I have a Canon PIXMA 1P4700 Premium Inkjet Photo Printer, and can easily compare the two. Insertion of the cartridges on the 4700 was very simple as well which is why I was interested in its "baby brother" for just fast, easy, ordinary print.

Color output satisfactory. This printer is made for everyday printing, not hanging museum-quality prints on the wall. Does a nice job. But printing color pages was outrageously slow only about 2 pages per minute. Ugh. The 4700 prints 9600 x 2400 dpi. This MP280 does a max of 4800 x 1200 dpi which may be fine for 4x6 prints, but I print mostly 5x7 and 8x10. The MP280 didn''t do well with larger prints and, judging from the way this one (too) is eating ink, this could be a very expensive process.

Speaking of ink, I continue to be disappointed by ALL manufacturers, but in this case by Canon for not making the cartridges of at least SOME of its printers interchangeable. In addition to buying for my primary 4700, now I have to spend up to $12 a cartridge for the MP280. However, I think that I will buy "after market" ink for this printer since my photographs will continue to be printed on the 4700.

The copying process was very easy one button and you can get color or b/w copies. It takes about 15-20 seconds to make a copy, sometimes an eternity. (The actual printing is about 2 seconds. Waiting for the document to get in the queue is what takes forever.)

Scanning good for everyday needs. If you''re sending a picture over the internet, this works perfectly. If you''re trying to recreate the Mona Lisa, this won''t have the resolution capabilities. (At least, I couldn''t see them)

It would be easy to say you get what you pay for here, since this is a $70 printer, but it''s a little better than that. This combo doesn''t take up much space, and performs nicely for everyday printing/copying/scanning needs. Compared with models out there that easily cost $200 or $300, I think this is worth what MOST people would do with it.

Do NOT buy this printer if your primary purpose is to print photographs. The resolution is less than satisfactory, and you''re stuck with 4x6" prints. Yes, I know that you can print from HD movies using the software, but very few of you will do this or ever use the software. I would suggest that, if you want prints from video, get some high-end software made for the purpose and, if you''re going that far, move up one or two notches in the Canon printer line.

The Canon PIXMA MP 280 Inkjet Photo All-in-one is a very reasonably priced multi-functional printer. But it consumes a lot of expensive ink. In fact, a single refill of black and color ink costs more than the printer itself did. The accompanying instructions are well-written and the set-up is very easy. I assume the reason for the low price of the printer is to get customers to buy a lot of very expensive ink. But most printer brands are this way ,and Canon printers are excellent. Buying cheaper generic ink has not been a good idea in my experience since these inks are often incompatible and cause the branded printer to malfunction or not function at all.

This is a surprisingly good combination printer/scanner/copier for the money, and it is an excellent choice for most home users, so I am basing my review and star rating on that basis. It''s very good for printing nice vacation or family pictures or making greeting cards or such. You can do nice borderless prints up to 8.5 x 11 inches. There are more expensive and higher-quality printers available for professionals, but a printer like this is a better choice for casual users.

I was also very happy with the quality when printing a text document. The text appeared very crisp and clear.

The printer is quite lightweight and easy to handle. Setup was quite painless except for the problem of not having a USB cable included in the box. This is so annoying, but Canon is not the only manufacturer guilty of this shortcoming.

Basic usage is fairly intuitive, but I recommend loading the manual from the included CD. It is quite comprehensive, but easy to navigate and understand. This printer has quite a few unexpected features. As one example, although it is easy to scan using the autoscan feature, there are many other settings and options available for scanning, including saving in PDF format and even a rudimentary OCR function to convert scanned text document to editable text.

The copier function also works well for a basic model. Keep in mind that it is limited in size to an original of 8.5 by 11.7 inches. It can reduce or enlarge, but only in set sizes, primarily between full-page size and 4 x 6". At the price of this printer, I was not expecting any reduce/enlarge functions at all, so here I am counting it as a plus, not a minus.

One feature I have not tested, but you might be interested in, involves advanced printing options from the Internet. According to Canon, you can choose what to print when viewing a Web page. That feature is worth investigating if you often print from the Internet. I don''t do that very often, and it requires loading their toolbar (optional, part of the setup process). I''m too cautious to add a toolbar that I won''t use very often, but it sounds like a worthwhile feature to check out if you have the need.

I use this HP Inkjet paper on my Epson 9900. I needed something that was lightweight but could still hold color without bleeding all over the place; this product filled these need perfectly. I use it primarily to print architectural & engineering line-drawings that require color lines. It''s perfect for this because it is weight-wise similar to the 20# bond I use for B/W line drawings, but every line is crisp and clear. Its also very economical compared to some other wide-format media. I also use it for short-term ''throw-away'' banners, such as "Happy 40th Birthday Bob", but it is not limited to just lettering, sometimes I put a photo on it and for the purposes of having the banner for a specific indoor event, the image looks just fine. Since this paper is not very expensive, it is perfect for one-use occasions, as you don''t have to throw down a ton of money on a custom banner that you will only use for a few hours. This paper also lays very flat post-print (little to no curling).

I have been using the Avery Half-Fold Greeting Cards # 3265 for years. I have tried many other brands. Most "glossy" card stock I have purchased is so flimsy the cards have a cheap, "funky" feel and not worth the ink. The Avery 3265 stock has a nice feel, is thick enough to feel like a real card and the print output is quite phenomenal with my Epson Stylus Photo Printer.

I have printed photo''s, clip art and every possible combination over the years on the Avery 3265 card stock and I am constantly blown away by the quality of the prints as are the people I give the cards to. Perhaps the person that can not get good photo prints on them is using the wrong printer (I use a Canon and my Epson and both get great results). I get photo-realistic prints that are just as good as on photo card stock (albeit on the 3265 matt finish). I just printed Chinese New Year cards today and one in particular, a dragon on a black background looks like the black area is pure velvet. Very cool.

I highly recommend the Avery 3265 card stock for anyone wanting to make cards from home. Just a tip. Best prints come out of an inkjet photo printer (any brand). You will use a bit of ink to make the card, but, hey, that is why you bought a photo printer. So you could make "cool" prints!

This product provides a certain amount of convenience but is not anything special. It is 8.5x11-in. card stock for inkjet printers, with a crease in the middle for folding. It has a template number for use with word-processing and creative-project software, but templates can often be more trouble than they are worth, especially for the simple task of dividing a simple letter-sized sheet into two parts. There is a convenience, to be sure, in having correct-sized envelopes packaged with the paper; but again, there is nothing special about this size of envelope; and they feel somewhat flimsy, not exactly something in which to encase the results of your artistic labors.

Plain is OK, but to get a top rating from me this product would have needed to have been special in some way, such as perhaps being glossy on half of one side in order to provide a space in which to print a photo vibrantly.

I got a fabulous image from NASAs Hubble Christmas card page, and made a few modifications and used this paper to print Christmas cards, and it worked beautifully.

Somebody told me that card stock does not work well with the duplexer on my printer, and so I printed one side, and then printed the other manually. I have no idea if it would have printed both sides automatically if I''d tried it.

The cards were easy to print (once I got the art the way I wanted it to be--proof on regular paper) and looked great.
