Columbian CO131 (#10) 4-1/8x9-1/2-Inch Inkjet/Laser White Envelopes, 100 Count

Columbian CO131 4-1/8x9-1/2-Inch Inkjet/Laser White Envelopes, 100 Count
  • Envelope is specially designed to be used in both inkjet and laser printers. Premium 24lb stock minimizes smearing from inkjet printers. Heat resistant adhesive seal minimizes tacking from laser printers.
  • Security tinted for added privacy and confidentiality.
  • Executive Style diagonal seam V-flap construction. Moisture activated gummed seal.
  • (#10) 4-1/8" x 9-1/2"
  • 100 envelopes

I found these Columbian #10 Laser/Inkjet envelopes after having all sorts of problems feeding and printing other brands through my laser printer. The normal office-supply house brand security envelopes seemed flimsy, and would misfeed or jam in my printer, the ink would smear, etc. Not so with these envelopes. They are of a heavier stock (24lb) and feed consistently well with both H-P laser printers and my Canon MP730 Multifunction inkjet printer. They might be on the pricey side of the scale if you are a higher volume mailer, but for small office/home office and personal use, they''re great.

These are good heavy weight envelopes 24# and they take laser print very well, for the price they are a good buy. I just wish they had been security tinted, but with their thickness it appears this may not be a problem.

Though these envelopes say they are security-tinted, they are not at least the two shipments I received aren''t.

My first order arrived well-packaged but incorrect. The description states CO131 #10 security envelopes, but I received CO138 NON-security envelopes. I did a return, which I must say Amazon makes very easy, but my replacement order was also the (incorrect) CO138 non-security type. Oh, well...I needed some 24lb envelopes, since my new laser printer doesn''t really handle my cheapie old 20lb envelopes very well. Even though these are not security envelopes, they are nice, and since the wait time is now 1-2 months, I''ll just order again some other time.

These are the best all purpose envelopes ever. Feed without fail through HP Photo Printer, HP Laser (ancient), and Lexmark AIO.

These are beautiful, bright white, well constructed envelopes with security feature that does not show through. Low tack seal acts to prevent high heat of printer from activating glue, sealing envelope, or jamming from printing process. I keep a glue stick on hand for the occasional corner or edge that may need a little extra seal. The freedom from printing labels and hand feeding envelopes is well worth it.

Olympus A4 Standard Gloss Photo Paper for P-400 (25-Sheets) Save 20% off

Olympus A4 Standard Gloss Photo Paper for P-400
  • Standard dye-sublimated paper
  • Compatible with the Olympus P-400 printer
  • Heavy, bright white paper
  • Dries instantly, smearproof, and water resistant
  • Includes 25 pages of 8.5 x 11-inch paper

I just recently purchased the Camedia P-400 printer a few weeks ago and have used it quite a bit. I would have to say it is the best photo printer on the market today. While it doesn''t give perfect results (and this depends a lot on your photo image that you print) it comes close. From about 2-3 feet away you can''t tell the image came from a printer. Prints beautiful 8x11 photos. I haven''t used it with a digital camera yet, but have used it for files off my computer. Timed, it takes about 10-11 minutes to print a photo (color or b&w) and does make some noise (just as a laser jet).

PROS: Great quality photos, nice design, sturdy, easy to set up and use, works with smartmedia cards/pc cards/computer image files (.jpg,.gif etc.), photos instantly dry/no smudges or smears, photo paper quality is excellent

CONS: Only came with 5 sheets of paper and a photo ribbon for 5 prints, no cables provided for hook-up (not a problem if you already own a printer cable), expensive paper and ribbon (costs $1.60 per print)

If you are looking for a great photo printer and want professional looking prints buy this printer (if you can afford it).

I also should add you get 25 glossy photos per pack ($19.99) and the photo ribbon can print 50 photos ($39.99)

I just got my P-400 printer. Using XP operating system I found that they have not got a good print driver as yet but will sometime this spring. The print is beautiful. I still have much to learn about lightening the print. It seems to print on the dark side. Big drawback is the 7.64 x10 print rather than 8x10. It just barely covers under a frame and much harder to trim. I would like to know where the viewer from Olympia, WA gets their paper for 19.95 and ribbon for 39.95. Please write and let me know. Does anyone have a good price on these items? I want to keep costs down as I do a lot of printing. I am having trouble getting the USB port to print. It must be something I just don''t know. I would not be worried about showing these prints to any customer. creativeimages2@earthlink.net.

I''ve used this paper with my A2 printer and the results are amazing. The printer is as close to true dye sublimation as you can get at home. If your looking to make full use of this type of printer you need the best paper for the job. The Olympus photo quality paper is that medium. The color was vibrant and the end result was amazing. It is worth the extra few dollars when you compare this paper to its competitors.

Epson Stylus Photo R220 Ink Jet Printer (C11C626011)

Epson Stylus Photo R220 Ink Jet Printer
  • 5,760 x 1,440 dpi maximum resolution, 3-picoliter drop size
  • Up to 15 ppm color, 15 ppm black
  • Prints a 4-by-6-inches borderless photo in as fast as 57 seconds
  • Complete, easy to use CD and DVD face printing solution
  • USB interface, PC and Mac compatible, 1-year warranty

I think this printer is pretty good and I gave it four stars because I am slightly disappointed with a few of the features, but I am overlooking some of these because the printer is under 100 bucks, so I guess you get what you pay for! Just in case it helps you make your decision, here are some of the idiosyncrasies

1. Your cd or dvd will need to dry for at least 24 hours after being printed before you are recommended to use it in a cd/dvd drive.

2. You need to manually align the cd tray to these little arrows right before it prints. Why couldn''t they just design it to let the user push the tray all the way in? The arrows aren''t that easy to see.... and I just hate relying on my manual alignment skills :-(

3. Turning the printer off will waste a lot of ink when you need to re-start it. The printer will "load" the print cartridges, which I think is Epson''s term for "we want to get you to buy more ink so we can make a profit on this $99 printer."

4. Photos aren''t as true to photo quality as I get with my Canon MP730 but this is ok for me since I bought the printer solely for its cd/dvd printing ability.

Overall, this is a pretty good printer, but I would give it 5 stars if I wasn''t annoyed by the above "features"

This inexpensive printer does a nice job of printing photos and on CDs. My complaint with Epson printers is with their "intelligent" chip embedded ink cartridges that monitor ink usage based on page yeilds rather than true ink volume. In short, this means the cartridge will show the same usage of ink whether you are printing pages and photos in draft mode or in high quality mode. The printer software stops the printer from printing if one of the six color cartridges is percieved as "close to empty". Epson engineered it this way to ensure that the ink doesn''t run out and causes a clogged printerhead. The problem is that I''m constantly replacing ink cartridges that still have about 25 percent ink remaining. I know because I have opened the spent cartridges and have measured the remaining ink. Also, you cannot refill the cartridges with after-market ink because the chip in each catridge renders it "empty" even if you refill it. This ink cartridge design has caused a class action suit to be brought against Epson. Do a Google search and you''ll find the website. In fairness to Epson I must state this printer does a nice job printing photos and onto CDs which is a nice feature. If ink costs aren''t a problem (about $60 for a complete 6 color set) than get this printer. In the meantime, I''m steering clear of future Epson printers until they re-engineer the ink cartridges to reflect the true ink volume usage.

I might give it a 5 stars for the cost vs utility but this printer is a total waste of ink; if you have a habit of turning off the printer after printing (like myself), every time you turn this printer (or any photo printer from EPSON) on it will recharge the ink or in more understandable term it will perform a small version of head cleaning, with or without the real need :(

What does this recharging cost?? Approximately anywhere between 5% to 10% of the ink every time, in other words you need to buy ink cartridges little faster then actually required but again this is where printer manufactures make most of the money now a days and EPSON is no different then others.

On the flip side this is Energy Star compliant printer and use only 3W if you leave it on standby mode thus save you from recharging the ink all the time.

About quality of the prints and DVD/CD printing option; this printer will meet or exceed any standards of any comparable product in the market. Period.

6 color printing is bringing real detail with true colors and having 6 different cartridges is a plus for buying ink.

With my experience I found that printing speed; mentioned in description; is nothing but a load of BULL, or may be they are talking about draft printing speed and very conveniently forgot to mention the word "Draft" while writing the specification about printing speed. :)

If you are one of those "hotwire guys" who "refill" their ink and print like news paper press, you might need to buy a set of clear view cartridges so you can see how much ink you are putting in along with a EPOSN cartridge chip reset gadget to reset the counter or be ready to say bye bye to low cost ink and start buying ink cartridges. "Continues Ink Systems" or CIS are also available in the market for this printer. I myself use one of those and life is good

i don''t know what your preferance is, but this printer is a pretty nice piece of machinery. especially for the price. although i frequently have to reload the DVD tray, the fact is there IS a DVD tray. it does tend to be quite annoying sometimes, but it is straight up difficult to find printers with this type of accessory. if you look in the stores, you will notice the same thing. (depending on where you live)

the only other problem is trying to find discs to use on here. i accidentally bought thermal printable discs which don''t work with this type of ink. it just turns into ink beads. i have been using verbatim inkjet printable dvd-r discs and those have been the best for use in this printer. make sure you get inkjet printable, that is a must. i wouldn''t recommend memorex printable dvd-r discs because they have quite an ugly label of memorex written right in the center of the disc.

there is also a handly little tool (software that comes with the printer) that allows you to center your own pictures onto the disc. it took a little bit of tweeking, but now i have professional looking dvds.

the only thing i recommend is to put a layer of clear coat over the top of the discs due to the fact the ink WILL run if water touches the surface. i have been using matte finish (basically flat clear coat) and it looks just like it did without the clear coat. i just don''t have to worry about the discs running when water touches them. also don''t forget to mask the bottom of the discs when you do this (the discs tend to lift up and a little bit of overspray hits the recordable side if you are using spray.) i don''t know if other inks work this way, but the stuff in the R220 just happens to be water-based.

I have been using this printer for DVD covers now for 2 months and can advise every one looking to replace the paper covers with ink to get this printer without any worry. I have done a minimum of 150 covers with one set of ink..the yellow and the black will let go first. That comes out to .40 cents a dvd...so it cost less than the paper that cost.20 and the price of the ink The result are just great and the software is outstanding. The problem that was mentioned in several reviews about the plastic carrier has been replaced and it works real well and i can see that the desing is going to never break

I was looking for something that would make a nice note card. but this is pretty thin stock. It is hard to find note cards for laser printers (not just ink stock). it is just slightly heavier than 80 lb paper.

These note cards are not substantial at all. Unfortunately, they are flimsy and unsubstantial. If you want elegant note cards, these are not the ones. However, the are just what I was looking for -blank note cards that you can pass through the printer. I used them for custom photography with OK results. If you want to really impress people, buy higher quality card stock.

This is a good product although I wish a heavier cardstock had been used. These note cards are fine for casual use but are not professional quality. Still, I am thankful that they are available because papers and cardstock appropriate for laser printers are hard to find in stores.

I recieved my order and was shocked to find that the contents looked like it had been run over by a truck!

The package was damaged, and when I opened it, one corner of all thirty pages

was bent. This means that out of the sixty cards I recieved only thirty of them will be suitable for printing.

HP Iron-On Transfers (12 Pack)

HP Iron-On Transfers, 8.5 x 11 Inch, 12 Pack
  • Original HP supplies.
  • The science behind brilliant print.
  • HP papers are matched with HP printers and print cartridges to bring exceptional quality to all your printing creations
  • Pack of 12 sheets
  • Dimension: 8.5 x 11-inch

Well, I have used this product with more than 100 t-shirt and I have no complains. After my 3 first big trials... a really mess... It is easy to transfer (once you get used with the process), it is a fast process, and the image stay for a long time on the fabric. Of course, the transfer will not last forever, but after 100+ washing cycles, all of my t-shirt still are in PERFECT condition. I use soft soap, and a soft washing machine cycle. The most important words here, are: VERY high temp iron (mine is one with 1400 watts), very VERY high pressure when ironing (I sweat a lot in this process) and the fabric must be as flat and firm as possible (porous fabrics are not the best, as well as stretching ones like cotton-lycra are not a good option because when stretching, the image breaks).

One last note: it is for white fabric. If you try it over other color, the image''s colors will be different from intended. If the fabic is dark colored, you will not see anything after trasferring. This is because the WHITE color of the image after ironing comes from the fabric, so if within the image are white and shiny teeth, and the fabric is dark, the teeth will be black, as well as all the other light colors of the images.

I have tried both the HP paper and the Office Depot paper, and the HP paper sure has better quality.

Both of them were done with the same steps, and it ends up that Office Depot one started to come off after 1st or 2nd wash, while the HP one is still on there without a scratch.

Also, HP paper fits more to the fabric, which it will be harder to see it was an "iron-on", but the Office Depot one was very obvious.

I will give two thumbs up for the HP paper!

They''re easy to use & they look great right up until you wash them the first time. Light t-shirt transfers crack & peel something awful, I''ve never known one to last more than one wearing.

If you''re going to make a t-shirt, get the kind that says DARK t-shirt transfers. I''ve got a closet full of Office Depot & Avery brand Dark t-shirt transfers (many transfered onto white shirts) that look great and I wear them every weekend. It costs a little more, but they actually work, making it well worth the money.

I did a little more than the directions outline. I took longer with the ironing. I took 5 minutes to iron the items on. I pushed down hard when I did the ironing. My black and white iron on washed well. I washed the item inside out in the cold water. Dried it on gentle cycle and it came out fine. I just don''t know how it will turn out after several washings. Let the printing completely dry before ironing it on. Take your time on ironing them. Take your time letting the iron on cool before peeling the paper off. It should work.

These transfers are superb. All you need is an inkjet printer, a bit of time, a T-shirt, a hot iron and a hard surface to iron on (not your ironing board) and you are set.

There are a few things to watch out for, but the results are fantastic. I used white T-shirts to print a photo transfer onto. It may seem obvious in hindsight, but the quality of the print is more down to what you print and the quality of the printer you use. The transfer will transfer anything you print onto it.

The documentation says to print whatever you want in reverse, which makes sense as ironing it onto the T-shirt will reverse whatever is printed. Having dutifully reversed the print and tested the print on blank paper I was ready for my first Transfer be warned though I used a Canon Pixma printer which has a very clever Paper Type option of "Iron on Transfers" and which reverses the print for you, so my image was changed back so I wasted a T-shirt! If your printer has a paper type of Iron on Transfer, you might want to do a test print on this setting using plain paper to see if it reverses it for you.

When you iron, you need the iron really hot and to press hard to fuse the transfer onto the T-shirt. If the iron isn''t hot or you don''t press hard enough, the transfer will not fuse properly and just peel off.

Unless your ironing board is solid, don''t use it. Most boards use a mesh to allow steam to blow through and if you use an ironing board the transfer will only fuse where the pattern is solid. I used a block of wood with a cloth over it, then with some paper over the top of the Transfer so that the T-shirt wouldn''t scorch as I ironed it. You''ll need to iron it for a few minutes for the transfer to fuse properly. I started in the middle, pressing hard and working out to the edges. You can see when it has worked as you can see what looks like small bead of clear melted plastic oozing out from under the transfer paper.

The results are great. Enjoy.

Beware though, the value pack that comes with photo paper does not contain the same ink amounts and is therefore a rip-off. Many have been disappointed to find that HP has some packages with a smaller capacity ink cartridge and therefore not the value originally thought.

This ad does not detail the ink in a cartridge capacity; check with the HP site to determine product specifications and compare with the capacity of buying an individual color cartridge versus the group package. Caution advised. (And seller including capacity of each cartridge) Note that black cartridge (usually larger) and color cartridges vary in capacity.

Good product but be very, very careful that you buy the five cartridge combo pack that does not include black. That is the one with the most ink in each cartridge. The combo pack that is sold as a photo combo, includes the black cartridge and 150 sheets of 4x6 photo paper has a lot less ink in them. I finally even spoke with a person at HP that confirmed it. I had to get a person in sales (USA) that could confirm it. Technical support and customer service online live chat (not USA) had no clue. The five cartridge combo box shows the volume of each color like the individual cartridges. The photo combo doesn''t list the individual volumes only that it is enough to print 150 photos.

HP printers have always been the most convenient for me. We currently have a C6180 wireless printer and it works great, I just cannot believe how much ink we go through. Our old printer used 56 and 57 inks and we had to replace them much less frequently. These smaller color ink cartridges are a rip of in my opinion, they simply don''t last long enough for the price.

Pantone books are a must if you are a designer. I got this set as I needed it for my freelance work. The pages are thinner than the older Pantone books but they are also a lot less expensive to buy than Pantone books used to be. It is worth mentioning that I did have an issue with the Neon book, it looked like on one page it was damaged when it was printed. The type was offset slightly and there was a fold in the page. I don''t know if this was an isolated case or whether they all printed like that, but all the other books in the set were fine. Other than the Neon Book issue the books are great and for something that is extremely useful to a designer well worth buying for this price!
