I just wanted to note that this installed fine and I had no issues with this fax ribbon for the Brother fax 575. There was another review saying that it was not compatible with it which almost deterred me from purchasing this ribbon. I decided to take a chance and everything worked great so if you need a replacement ribbon then this will fit in just fine. The prints also come out as expected so I''m very happy with this purchase.

I had a little trouble replacing it because I think the instructions were a little backwards (said the shiny side should be one way but when putting the roll on, the shiny side was the other way). It works fine though so I think maybe I''m just a little backwards.

This was a total waste of money. These rolls did not fit my cartridge. When I

received the product the box they came in did not say they fit the FAX 575. I tried

to "jerry rig" the rolls onto the cartridge but it just didn''t work. I got the

product in good time but was disappointed. For the same price, I got a cartridge

with rolls from a different company this week. Oh well, live and learn.

I''ve used this machine basically for faxing items out. I didn''t need anything too fancy or too complicated. This unit actually has more involved functions that I don''t need but I purchased it cause the price was right. So far so good, setup was simple, it is extremely lightweight (I kind of worried about this as my past fax was at least 3times heavier). Uses standard copier paper (thank goodness), fax is very quiet and scans pages quickly. It also has a hand-set if you need to make a regular phone call from it. I haven''t received incoming faxes on it yet but if a problem arises, I will be sure to post additional feedback.

We love this fax machine. We had little space, so the size is perfect. The performance is very efficient for our small volume.

Don''t really need a full-time fax, but I told myself if I came upon one more transaction where I could use a fax machine I would buy one. The machine was larger and bulkier than I expected or wanted but it did what it was supposed to.

Using plain paper it sent faxes quickly and clearly, made nice copies and printed faxes just fine. The manual was bursting with things it could do but...meh, not interested. I sent maybe 7 pages, received 2 and copied 2 then it ran out of ink! No pictures, no colors just plain text; I never got the low ink warning, just 11 lousy pages and wham NO INK. Given the generous amount of ink I got on my hands the cartridge was NOT empty. The replacement is about $30. What a rip-off. At 11 pages per cartridge, this thing could cost a thousand dollars in a few years!!

I speak about this machine in the past tense because it is currently sitting in the yard under a pile of dirt and leaves. It refused to take any of the similar-looking ink cartridges I had around the house, so I murdered it. Not so Sharp now, are you?

I work in an engineering firm and we use for our A4 color prints both a color laser ( xerox phaser 6250 ) and the HP 3000.

We have the 3000 since two years and we have printed around 80000 pages without troubles, except for an input tray which had to be substituted.

The 3000 is very fast ( even if not so much while printing on hp special papers ) and everybody appreciate both the reliability while printing and the network installation which has been absolutely trouble free.

I love it since I can print ACAD files ( covers of our papers ) and JPEG photos without thinking whether this time the driver will work well or not, whether I''ll have a paper jam or the ink will smuggle.

I have had only some troubles with some HP photo papers ( it smuggled ) , whereas with HP brochure papers it works perfectly.

On the contrary the xerox 6250, which costs much much more than the HP 3000, even if it incredibly fast and the laser quality is better than inkjet for printing graphs and chart bars, is not very appreciated since it has great problems with the PCL driver, it has much more paper jams and the cost of the

consumables is extremely higher. We also have a HP 2600 which is a very poor product.

If you need a fast and reliable inkjet for high volume prints go in a network environment, I think you''ll be very happy with it.

I have to say, I have been a loyal HP fan, and I picked this printer to replace my old 2000 model, which I loved. I wanted a HIGH capacity ink machine, that would do color printing without the constant cartridge change of less professional models. This printer (my second one) is nothing but an albatross. It has never worked right from day one. The first one, which was exchanged for this new one, was defective, shook the table apart and never was able to get going. The new one is worse. The on off button does not work until it feels like it, it jams paper, it bands the colors completely missing some spots of color, it is WAY too noisy, it prints in jerking steps and comes out of the machine in jerks, print quality is somewhat grainy, nothing like the quality I have come to expect from HP printers. I have an emergency $29.00 HP models Inkjet 3520 that has FAR superior print ability. Shame on HP! POOR POOR design. I am still awaiting a return for this one! I would recommend you DO NOT get this machine, as it is a dinosaur.

This printer works great for me. I find the quality is good enough for me to use draft mode for printing fliers. The printer has great print quality (for a non-Photo printer) and is exceptionally fast. There are four separate print cartriges which have remtoe print heads to printing is relatively econominal. One thing to note is that the printer senses when the print cartrige is empty and will stop printing. This isn''t a problem for me, but it might be for people tring to refill cartriges or who want to stretch the print cartriges to the end. Also, the printer can get pricey if you purchase bundled with the duplexor and the print server options.

I did not receive Apollo brand transparencies as pictured, but rather Acco brand transparencies in a plain white package with a small label identifying them. However, the transparencies I received do the job just fine, and I wasn''t interested in the brand so much as the price. These are much less expensive than what I could find in stock at any local office supply store since these don''t get much use nowadays (some didn''t stock inkjet compatible transparencies at all). Overall great for me. By the way, they are serious when they tell you to use the textured side. On the textured side they dry in minutes, if you use the smooth side they take forever to dry.

I print graphics I make in photoshop on these. They grab the colors which come out intense, more than on paper. I don''t project these so I can''t speak about that. I put one on my window, it''s very pretty. Dries real quick and the colors seem stable after 6 months, but that''s not in the sun. It suffered from condensation though, so it''s water sensitive, using my HP inkjet printer ( it has a setting for transparencies, nice feature, I think it shoots more ink) with OEM ink cartridges. Quite cheap comparatively, but some other brands say theirs are water resistant after drying ( at 2$ a pop!).

I''ve used several brands of inkjet transparencies over the years, and these are by the far the worst. I bought them solely on price. The emulsion is too rough to get sharp type or images; the finished transparencies were disastrous. Very disappointing.

I bought this same exact product by the same manufacturer last year. Last year''s version was much thicker and the films stayed flat while i worked with them and printed onto them. I had no issues and was very happy with the product. This year''s version, however, has been really hard to work with, as each piece of film is super thin and wants to curl up in my printer. (think of a poster that has been rolled up for a while, this is what each sheet has done as soon as i remove it from the package.)

I have now wasted about the half the pack on printer mis-feeds that leave ink in places it shouldn''t go because the things keep getting stuck due to their rolling/ flimsy issues. And these things aren''t cheap! Neither is the ink I''m wasting. I am hoping this is just a bad pack. Pretty disappointed in the quality this time around.

When this thing works it''s wonderful, but I have had some problems. First a note on troubleshooting problems. Don''t talk TOO LOUD. I had to turn the sensitivity down on mine. This unit is so sensitive that it sometimes hears too many sounds to accurately understand what you are saying. This is the opposite of what most people would instinctively do. Most people try to talk louder if they think someone can''t hear them. You may also have to mute the TV if it is too loud.

Pros(Besides the obvious):

1. It has a very strong built in magnet that allows you to put it on your refrigerator just at your speaking level, never gets lost and items stay on list until you remove them, even if you take out a battery.

Cons:

1.There are some words that it seems to refuse to recognize, no matter what you do. (i.e. I tried to add calendar to my smartshopper and no matter how many times I improved voice recognition, it would not recognize it. I even removed collander from the smartshopper so there was nothing similar. That didn''t help. It kept coming up with the most rediculous suggestions to what I had said that were not even remotely similar. I finally ended up adding wall calendar instead.)

2. Again, talk softly.

3. Sometimes mine freezes up and sticks on Record Now. I can usually break this by taking a battery out and putting it back and then it works fine again.

So when it works I love this, when it doesn''t I hate it. I have learned over the last couple of months to deal with its quirks, so I mostly love it.

This product really does work as advertised. The pre-loaded list of items is impressive. And it''s not difficult to train the device to recognize new items. One tip: Try to speak as naturally as possible. I''ve noticed that if you over-enunciate, sometimes the device gets confused. Pears sounds to it like jars, for example. I think the device tends to focus on syllables, as opposed to individual letters, so talk normally to it. When my partner taught it half-and-half, he didn''t try to say each word. He just said, "haf-n-haf," the way he normally would. Also, don''t pre-suppose that there are individual items it doesn''t know. For example, it doesn''t just recognize "cheese." It knows many kinds of cheeses. The device comes with a book that lists all of the pre-programmed words, but I''ve found few words that it doesn''t know.

Just an idea that I know would help me & others like myself who find themselves with a mile long list for ''grocery/errand days'' and the need to make a shorter list without deleting the main one.

Bought from Adorama through Amazon with zero complaints on shipping or delivery time. Once I got the printer to work, it output very fine prints and color printing is the best I''ve seen in this price point color laser. Regular paper and laser labels feed just fine and fast. Labels are a bit cocked by about a millimeter, but I''m still learning how to tweak this one.

The problem was with a windows setting. A check box for "enable bidirectional support" on the ports tab in the printer properties was preventing jobs from being sent to the printer leaving them in the queue indefinitely. Once I unchecked this box all was fine. I was unable to find a reference to this anywhere even after 5 hours of dedicated internet searching. A call to the Konica-Minolta support number got me stuck on hold a half hour until I gave up. In short, I feel sort of on my own with this one, but as I get more familiar with the machine I hope things will go more smoothly.

This printer is really fast, the color is great and the printing is great quality. I use it both for colored and black and white works great on both. You can tell from just hearing the machine run that it is real quality . Finally a printer I am happy with.

I use this printer exclusively for printing photos. It does a great job, and at first I thought used a lot of toner. Not really, it was just getting the toner properly activated that appeared to use 25% right away. Now, it barely changes the toner levels after a printing session of 100% coverage for photos.

It is rated as 2400x600, but quality isn''t better than any quality laser out there. But, the toner cartridges are easily refilled and toner refills are in the $100 range for a full set of 4 toners.

The one negative is that the use of single feed paper is very noisy and the sensor for manual feed is quite a way inside the printer opening (maybe 3"). Using legal size paper often isn''t pulled in squarely. Care must be taken to insure good manual feeds.

It prints 65# card stock well, and handles it well in the duplexer also. The duplexer is noisy, but who cares for the price.

I often use 65# paper since it matches well with photo paper in my work. The printer pulls this paper from the internal tray well, and I have had no misfeeds. I have had it a month now and have only the complaints mentioned above, and I consider them all minor.
