8.5" x 5.5" Laser/Inkjet Labels

8.5'' x 5.5'' Laser/Inkjet LabelsSimply putI bought these to use with USPS Click-n-ship and they work great! I put them in my Canon MX850 Inkjet printer and they worked PERFECTLY!

And, after searching through Amazon & online, these are sold here at a GREAT price!

Once I run out, I will definitely be buying this specific product again!

I bought these from the onlinelabels.com website over a year ago. I still have almost half of the box of 100 sheets. I haven''t had any problems with them, and I will buy these again when I start to run short on supply.

I was delighted that these labels were of high quality and much less expensive than the name brand. I used them to print a heavy black logo and they didn''t smear in my hp Officed jet printer.

Lexmark Premium Photo Paper

Lexmark Premium Photo Paper
  • Premium photo paper for inkjet printers.
  • Lexmark''s highest photo quality inkjet paper.
  • Great for snapshots, Internet images, CD photos.

You get what you pay for. It''s Lexmark, so it''s inexpensive and not so great quality. And I''m using Lexmark ink with it. Doesn''t dry quickly, and the quality of the print isn''t that great. I''m going back to HP for my next paper/printer combo.

Lexmark photo paper has consistently produced great results in my inkjet printers. The results are crisp and vibrant, making them just about indistinguishable from photo lab prints.

While somewhat more expensive than generic store brand photo paper, the quality difference in the final prints makes it worthwhile to pay the extra, at least for our family photos and business product pictures.

Highly recommended!

Can''t say much. Lexmark is very reliable. There are higher quality papers which cost much more so it all depends on what you want.

I cannot believe the difference in my photos when I use this paper! I always bought store brand equivalents (or so they claimed) to save money, but I''ll never go back to those again. My pictures are crisp, bright, and durable. And it''s still not as expensive as some of the premium photo papers out there. Definitely worth it!

I love the Lexmark Photo Paper. I have a new granddaughter so we have been taking alot of pictures. I pop out the card and print up pictures on my photo printer. The pictures always are beautiful.

I bought a new HP printer to replace one that I had for over 4 years. The quality of the printer is exceptional for the price. I was curious, though, why the ink cartridges for this new printer were about half the cost of the ones for the old model, so it seemed like a really good deal. Unfortunately, the fact of the matter is that the new ink cartridges for this model last about half as long as the others. I agree with a lot of the recent press about the need for ink manufacturers to label their products with the quantity of ink rather than the number of pages they can print. It is impossible to compare prices and know for sure how much you are getting for your dollar. Nevertheless, I still recommend this printer. HP is a great company.

I''d been saving the dual package in my wish list while I was checking around for the best price.

Well today I found it at wal-mart for $30.97 and in the package you get 2 black and 2 tri color packs. Can''t beat the deal. Amazon wants that much for just one black and 1 tri color. It pays to research and shop around. So glad I didn''t order it here, but I still find great values on other merchandise here. I love the printer, but the ink sure doesn''t last very long. Cheap printer that I ordered from amazon (and I like the printer), but expensive when you print as much as I do. Just wanted to pass the info for those that might need the #60 ink.

Like everything HP ink related, these cartridges are overpriced. Runs out of ink after an insanely low number of pages.

Best price I found for these ink cartridges. The HP 60 cartridges print good but do not last as long as the HP 60XL cartridges. Both are a good choice.

I could not believe how few pages printed off of this set before it ran out -about 60 pages before the "low ink" warning and about 30 pages after. A total of 90 pages before colors ran out!

Olympus A4 Standard Gloss Photo Paper for P-400 (25-Sheets) Save 20% off

Olympus A4 Standard Gloss Photo Paper for P-400
  • Standard dye-sublimated paper
  • Compatible with the Olympus P-400 printer
  • Heavy, bright white paper
  • Dries instantly, smearproof, and water resistant
  • Includes 25 pages of 8.5 x 11-inch paper

I just recently purchased the Camedia P-400 printer a few weeks ago and have used it quite a bit. I would have to say it is the best photo printer on the market today. While it doesn''t give perfect results (and this depends a lot on your photo image that you print) it comes close. From about 2-3 feet away you can''t tell the image came from a printer. Prints beautiful 8x11 photos. I haven''t used it with a digital camera yet, but have used it for files off my computer. Timed, it takes about 10-11 minutes to print a photo (color or b&w) and does make some noise (just as a laser jet).

PROS: Great quality photos, nice design, sturdy, easy to set up and use, works with smartmedia cards/pc cards/computer image files (.jpg,.gif etc.), photos instantly dry/no smudges or smears, photo paper quality is excellent

CONS: Only came with 5 sheets of paper and a photo ribbon for 5 prints, no cables provided for hook-up (not a problem if you already own a printer cable), expensive paper and ribbon (costs $1.60 per print)

If you are looking for a great photo printer and want professional looking prints buy this printer (if you can afford it).

I also should add you get 25 glossy photos per pack ($19.99) and the photo ribbon can print 50 photos ($39.99)

I just got my P-400 printer. Using XP operating system I found that they have not got a good print driver as yet but will sometime this spring. The print is beautiful. I still have much to learn about lightening the print. It seems to print on the dark side. Big drawback is the 7.64 x10 print rather than 8x10. It just barely covers under a frame and much harder to trim. I would like to know where the viewer from Olympia, WA gets their paper for 19.95 and ribbon for 39.95. Please write and let me know. Does anyone have a good price on these items? I want to keep costs down as I do a lot of printing. I am having trouble getting the USB port to print. It must be something I just don''t know. I would not be worried about showing these prints to any customer. creativeimages2@earthlink.net.

I''ve used this paper with my A2 printer and the results are amazing. The printer is as close to true dye sublimation as you can get at home. If your looking to make full use of this type of printer you need the best paper for the job. The Olympus photo quality paper is that medium. The color was vibrant and the end result was amazing. It is worth the extra few dollars when you compare this paper to its competitors.

HP Deskjet 3320 Color Inkjet Printer

HP Deskjet 3320 Color Inkjet Printer
  • 1,200 x 600 dpi resolution on photo papers
  • 6 pages per minute print speed
  • 8 ppm with optional black cartridge
  • Quick setup and convenient USB connectivity
  • PC and Mac compatible

(COMMUNITY FORUM 04)I purchased this printer because I wanted an inexpensive printer to do light printing while engaged in a six month project and temporarily living 3000 miles from home. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet this printer prints, and although only rated at 6 pages per minute (for black or color), it churns out page after page at the rated speed. It also doesn''t vibrate when printing I have mine on a flimsy serving tray that was pressed into service as a printer stand and it''s perfectly stable when the printer is working.

Installation and set-up were simple connect the USB cable and place the CD ROM that comes with the printer in your drive and it practically self-installs. You will have to go through a calibration step in which a page of horizontal and vertical lines are printed and you select the lines that are the most perfect. This assures that the printer accurately produces documents that look the same on paper as they do on your screen. I was pleased by the vivid colors in the final test page that is printed after the installation completes. For the price this printer is capable of quality that is amazing.

I also like the software that comes with it because it gives you control over output quality (I use mine in fast draft mode to conserve ink) and allows you to select the type of paper you''re using so that you get optimum results. This printer will work well with plain paper, which is a nice feature for anyone who is cost conscious. When you''re printing you can see how much ink is remaining in your cartridges, which is also a nice touch for such an inexpensive printer.

There are a few things facts that you need to know about this printer: (1) it has a single interface (USB), unlike many printers that come with both parallel and USB. Also note that you''ll have to purchase your USB cable because the printer does not ship with one (most USB printers don''t, so this does not detract from the value). However, I was a bit disappointed to discover that it ships with a single color cartridge, although it is configured for separate color and black cartridges. Also, you need to know that a set of color and black cartridges will cost as much as the printer itself.

If you want an entry-level printer or have light printing requirements this is a bargain and well worth the price.

After owning a black & white inkjet by HP for years, I bought an Epson color printer... Big mistake. In addition to being noisy, the software kept track of the ink levels and you couldn''t change it until the software told you you were out of ink. I''d have to trick it by unplugging it when the ink cartridges were in the small space available for changing. So after a few years of suffering with the Epson, I swore that I''d go back to HP.

I also use a HP laserjet at work and it''s performed reliably for quite a few years, and is still going strong.

So I was comparing HP printers. The higher the price, the faster the printer & some have special photo features, but I didn''t need that, I just needed a solid printer for my occasional printing needs.

I had one printer jam since I started recieved this printer, but the back panel comes off for easy removal of any stuck paper. It has an envelope guide, but you have to remove the paper to use it... no big deal.

This printer is about the size of a roll of paper towels when it''s folded up, and the paper goes pretty far back into it, so with paper it''s it only adds around 6 inches to it. It''s quiet, which is very nice. And unlike the epson, the ink levels shown on the screen are "estimates only" and any time you open the top, the ink cartridges pop into view. Yay!

Draft mode prints very good looking, very readable black and decent looking color. My girlfriend didn''t even know it was in draft mode when I showed her a page, though she did comment on the colors not being as nice as they could be.

I have no reason to switch it off of draft mode, unless I''m printing documents I want to give to someone or something I want to archive. I just wish I could switch to "black only draft mode." It would''ve been nice to conserve the color ink when printing web pages that I only needed to keep around for a few days, but at $17 and $21 for ink cartridges (bw & color), ink isn''t expensive.

The software that comes with the printer aligns the printer so it knows where the edge of the paper is, and makes sure that when it switches from color to black & white the lines are straight. Basically it prints a bunch of lines and you tell it which ones are straight or close to the edge of the page without going over it. This may be difficult to do if you have bad vision, but the middle settings are the ones that worked for me, and the middle settings will probably work for 99% of the printers out there.

Overall, I''m very happy with this purchase, and I''m glad I didn''t spend the extra money on features I don''t need. I hope to own this printer for many years to come.

I took a fifty dollar bill out to Wal Mart the other day to buy a cheap printer and decided to buy the HP 3320. Frankly, I didnt expect much ( you get what you pay for...right??) Anyway, the Printer preformed VERY WELL. The paper feed ALWAYS worked, the quality of the photos I printed were excellent and combined with the easy set-up made my 50 bucks go a long way!

I read some of the other reviews on this printer......Had to laugh........Come on people........Complaints on windows 95 drivers???? Windows what????? hehe. No, the ink only comes with

one cartridge, and no extra cables........but it is well worth the FIFTY bucks.

Having used HP Printers for many years, I assumed the quality of their past products would speak for itself. WRONG. I had the same problem another reviewer mentioned, "the printer head assembly (the part that holds the ink cartridges) broke & would not move any more." This occured 5 DAYS after the warranty expired. And in the three short months I used it, I also purchased at *least* three times as many ink cartridges as I''ve ever had to purchase for any other printer in a similar time frame. A very bad buy on my part, so I''m waiting for my Lexmark Printer/copier/scanner to arrive, while I use my daughter''s THREE YEAR OLD Lexmark that still works great.

After a six months of relatively light use (printing a paper every now and then), the ink cartridge doesn''t move anymore. It''s better to go ahead and buy a more expensive printer instead of having to replace the cheap ones every few months or so.

I got this printer a couple weeks ago from HP''s online store, and I''m quite pleased overall.

FYI, I''m using this with two Win7 64bit PCs and an Actiontec router which is supplied by Verizon FiOS.

PROS

I won''t mention the obvious features, as they''re easy enough to spot reading the main description of the printer and looking at the pictures.

It''s very well packed! I doubt the standard "fling it up there on the porch" approach that some delivery guys take would hurt this thing.

Comes with a (short) USB cable where most printers these days do not. Since I hoped to use it wirelessly, it was nice to have a cable included for initial setup rather than buying one separate. See the cons below for more info on the USB cable.

Setup in Win7 64bit was a breeze! I just followed the directions. That got the wireless part setup. From there, my other Win7 64bit PC easily found it on the network. Now they can both print to it.

It works with WPA2! I didn''t have to downgrade my wifi network to use the less-secure WEP. (It does work with WEP for sure, and it seems to work with WPS, too.)

Upon changing my wireless settings, I just plug the printer USB back into the PC and run the HP wireless config. The software gives me the option to enter info manually or have the printer auto-detect network settings from my PC. Both ways seem to work.

The document feeder on top works fine for copies. I''ve used it a few times now without any jams or failed copies.

The ID copy feature is awesome! It lets you fill up a single page with incremental scans of smaller images without printing more than one sheet ... and all from the printer, no PC software-based editing required.

The control panel is adjustable, so you can tilt it up. It makes it so much easier to see if you have the printer set below eye level.

While shopping, I read some reviews/reports that other wifi printers wouldn''t wake up from standby mode to print. I''ve had no such problems with this M1217nfw if the power button is on, it will wake up and print when told.

CONS: To me, these are negatives, but they''re nowhere near bad enough to make me regret buying this printer. I can''t say if they''d be deal-breakers for other folks or not.

The included USB cable is very short, something like 2 feet. If you plan to use this via a USB cable, be prepared for the back of the printer to be within 2 feet of the USB port on your PC. That could be tricky for some folks'' computer desks. (You could buy a longer cable, I suppose, but that makes the total cost higher.)

There isn''t really a "paper tray" at all. There''s a fold down door at the bottom of the front. You lay it down and put the blank paper in there. It sits there, exposed to light and air and dust and dog hair. I will have to take the paper out and close the door if I don''t plan to print for a while. The lack of a drawer-type tray that slides completely under the printer means it''s not quite as easy to be "on demand printer" at this house.

The normal toner cartridge (not the intro one it ships with) has something like a 1600 page yield and seems to be $50-$60. That seems on the expensive side of cost-per-page for laser printers. If you do a lot of printing be sure to consider that.

Buy HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw Monochrome All-in-One Printer Now

I decided to go with a laserjet after my HP inkjet wouldn''t print black/white documents because a color cartridge was empty.

Setup with the printer was very easy and no CD is required. It comes with a 3'' USB cable and you just connect it to the PC and a dialog box asks which type of install you would like to perform (wired network, direct USB connection, or wireless). I did the wireless connectionso I had to enter in the password for the printer to get on which is all configured through the PC. Overall, the total install and setup took about 10 minutes.

I did change the amount of time for the printer to enter the sleep mode. The default was 15 minutes and I changed it to 5 since I don''t print as often. You change this by right clicking on the printer and going to the properties menu on your PC.

For printing, the text is very clear. Images are pretty good as well. I printed directions and maps and from google and everything looked clear. I love how fast the printer is. Even when the printer is in sleep mode, it starts printing in less than 10 seconds.

I scanned one file so far to test it out. I performed the scan wirelessly which is a nice feature. I didn''t play around with the resolution but the image didn''t seem as clear as my photosmart all-in-one. But, for what I plan to use it for I think it works great.

The document feeder also works well so far (I only tested once) and I haven''t tried the fax yet.

The only complaint I have, is that I wish it had auto-duplexing. Overall I am happy with the purchase. I also bought it directly from HP since they had $ 30 off plus an additional $ 50.

I do tons of printing for work and really needed to buy a laser printer that had a really low cost per page. I researched monochrome laser printers for a couple of weeks before buying this one and I really like this one, it is my first laser printer and much cheaper per page than any inkjet. I actually based my decision on the cost of the toner cartridges. HP''s toner cartridges are expensive, but the 85A has been out for a while and there are some really inexpensive and good quality generic cartridges 2 Pack: Compatible HP CE285A Laser Toner Cartridges. I purchased a pack of 2 for about $25 and when I installed it the printer recognized it as genuine hp. The printer is a bit loud but I can live with that. It prints bout three to three and a half reams of paper with the starter cartridge. In my opinion you can''t go wrong with this printer. It has a document feeder which can scan to pdf, one of the functions that I use a lot and the wireless printing is seamless I haven''t had to reset the printer or my computer because of a freeze-up. I have it connected to three computers and an iPad and they all work great with it. If you don''t mind it being kind of loud then this is your best bang for your buck.

ive noticed alot of other reviewers had problems with using all the features of this printer. Ive managed to get everything working. i have the printer wirelessly connected to my network and i can scan print & fax from my macbook pro running lion.

Heres what i had to do:

1. download the updated printer firmware from hp site and install via usb cable.

2. download the driver installer from hp site(do not use the included cd) install via usb.

3. go to system prefs>print&scan> select your printer then go to options and supplies.go to the utility tab and open printer utility. You should now be in the onboard browser. go to the networking tab and configure the settings to connect to you wireless network. when the printer is connected, close the browser.

4. remove the usb cable and uninstall the printer from system prefs.

5. re-install from the installer you downloaded in step 2. choose network when it asks. when it finishes you should have everything working fine.

Hope this helps anyone whos been having a hard time.

The mohawk paper is really nice. I use it to publish a monthly news magazine (12-20 pages) of good news in my area. It is slick and looks very professional and competes with any other magazine paper in quality. The only problem, the paper is quite expensive and is not sold in my area. I have to travel to Jackson, MS to purchase reams. When I ordered from Amazon, I thought that I would be in seventh heaven and get enough to last two months. No! No! Amazon shipped the paper in four installments, not indicated in my ordering quest. I had to wait several days to get another ream and a few more days for the next and so on. Hence, my news magazine was sent out later than readers expected. Late news does not read well.

I bought this product to make color invitations. I did not realize there was a restriction on the type of ink you can use with this paper. When I printed with my color copier that uses ink cartridges, it smeared on the paper. I don''t have a laser color copier but I''m assuming that is the kind of printer that works with this paper. Now I have 99 pieces of color copy gloss cover paper that I can''t print on.

I bought this printer from Amazon for under 100 dollars, no tax, no shipping. Here''s what I got: an excellent photo quality printer, copier, scanner, pdf creator and fax machine with auto-feeder. I am baffled by the people who post one or two stars about this machine. Go to any store and you can hardly buy any printer, any copier, any scanner, any fax machine, or any pdf creator software for 100 bucks, and this unit has them all built into one nice looking box. There is also a very capable OCR application.

I am very tired of hearing how much ink costs. A printer should not be measured by the price of ink but strictly by how much it costs to print each page, and Epson tends to be at the low end of the spectrum. I also don''t care how much ink is left in the tank or if it has a chip, again the issue is how much a page will cost me. I do not work for or represent Epson, and hope to point out the negatives as well as the positives. I own 3 Epson printers and 4 HP printers. I don''t own Canon or Brother because at the lower end of the spectrum I think their products are very cheesy. Let''s talk about the CX9400Fax. I doubt if a better value exists anywhere near the price range. My experience is that individual tanks are the better choice but I''m not sure it really makes a huge difference.

Don''t even think of rating a printer by how "fast" it is, with inkjets that spec is a ridiculous fantasy ... there is just no such thing as 32 pages a minute in real life! I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised how much faster this unit was than just one generation ago. In photo mode I would estimate real-life printing to be four times faster than the CX7400 and at least as good, if not better. Epson has always excelled is photo quality and the CX9400Fax is no exception. As a fax machine it is adequate for home office use and the small number of faxes people send from home. Same with it being a copier and scanner, for the price it does a good job. It seems built a little sturdier than most competitive models. It sounds, well, like a printer. I don''t know how anyone could expect a mechanical device to be totally silent. Ease of use is pretty close to flawless.

Here''s a couple of "secrets" that address concerns some of the other reviewers had. First, if you think the printer is running out of ink too often and you swear you don''t print that much, you are probably right. Epson, like some other manufacturers, has to prime the heads every time you turn the printer on, which uses ink. That costs money and I wish there was a better way. But, simple solution, leave the printer on 24/7. There is no logical reason to turn it off between each use , especially if you are using it as a fax machine, since it automatically goes in to a sleep mode. Another well documented Epson feature is that you can force it to print using only black ink. There are a lot of reviewers who say they ran out of all colors when they think they only printed in black and white. While they may be right, it''s hard to blame Epson. The manufacturer clearly has a "black" only setting in the print options, plus they offer a high-capacity black tank for those who do a lot of text printing.

It is important to note that if you want to fax from a document that is on your computer you need to have the CX9400Fax connected to a phone line, just like any fax machine. It won''t magically send a fax through your internet connection. There are ways you can do that but not with a traditional fax machine.

So, what is the image quality? In "draft" mode it is marginal but that''s what draft mode means. Draft mode is not intended for quality printing, just to quickly print a document that you intend to throw out.

As you increase the quality settings, the Epson magic sets in. Normal mode is as good as any printer on the shelf. Photo mode is almost as good as it gets. The highest quality modes are marginally better, you have to have a fine eye to tell the difference, but the real story is that it is very hard to beat an Epson photo when printed at the best modes with the highest grade papers. Moral? If you print in draft mode and expect high quality you are seriously fooling yourself.

The final observation is that many people complain that a set of ink tanks cost as much as the printer or that printer manufacturers don''t include an USB cable. Those complaints just can''t be taken seriously. Can you remember paying over $500 for an inkjet printer only 10 years ago and how badly it printed? We have demanded that our consumer electronics be made by cheap labor in China, which has brought hardware prices down to a cost almost equal to the cost of materials. 100 bucks for a machine that does as much as the CX9400Fax is ridiculously low! Sure, it may be a throwaway, but that''s what people want. The USB cable issue is even funnier. How many USB cables does the average person own? The percentage of people buying a printer who have never bought a printer before is near zero. And if you seriously don''t have a USB cable you can find one for a buck-and-a-half right here at Amazon. And complaints about ink costs? They have stayed the same for many years. When you buy a car you need to fill it with gas, when you buy a printer you need to fill it with ink. It''s what you choose to do. Gas prices have risen a lot more than inkjet prices.

My final somewhat negative comment about this printer as well as most competitive brands, is that they just try to do too much. Yes, I want a printer/scanner/fax/copier but the media card slots and LCD screens are overkill. Fine if you want them but I believe most people know how they can do the same thing and more directly from their computer.

After a few weeks of owning this printer, using it daily to print normal business documents, the ink level had hardly moved. Then one day the repair people were here to check the air conditioner and turned the power off for a few minutes. Ok, it wasn''t a surprise to me because I know that printers need to "charge" when powered up, but when the power came back on a full 20% of the ink was used to prime the printer when if turned it back on. I have to repeat what I said in my review, NEVER turn this machine off, it uses almost zero power when in standby and I guarantee that if you turn it off every day you will use a ton of ink needlessly like so many reviewers report. After the power off incident, I am back to printing lots of normal documents each day and the ink indicator hasn''t even moved. Verdict? It''s not the printer''s fault that some people go through a lot of ink, it''s because they didn''t read the instructions.

The document feeder is so important and it works well, if a little slow. Faxing on the previous model I owned meant lifting the lid each time you wanted to add a page to a multiple page fax, and that was brutally slow. Now it has a 30 page ADF which turns the corner on home office products at this price point. the new color screen is great and the fax quality is unmatched. Epson really anoys me with their multiple ink cartridges but that is the only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars.

I needed a printer to replace my HP 2210, which lost its fax capability, and was considering the HP c6180 before I read some of the reviews here. The price is great, but I also considered the potential cost of ink (which is why I couldn''t consider the Canon mp830). You can buy compatible ink cartridges from Amazon for 5.99.

It doesn''t come with a USB cable, but you can buy one one anywhere for 6.99 or less.

Setup is a breeze compared to HP, and the sofware that comes with it doesn''t claim squatter''s rights to your hard drive. I couldn''t get it to recognize the black ink cartridge and had to call Epson''s support, which I connected to on the first try. After a few failed troubleshooting attempts, they gave me a reference number for a replacement cartridge -I called them on Friday evening, and it arrived the following Wednesday.

After installing the good cartridge, it completed its setup in a few minutes. I have had the opportunity to test everything except the OCR software. Printout is good, just select "black only" when printing text to avoid using too much color ink. Copying and ADF worked without a hitch. The fax also works fine, but I''m have a time getting it to pick up over my answering machine (my old HP had the same problem).

The only thing I can say that isn''t positive is that it has a pass-through paper feed system -I personally prefer paper trays, but it works fine.

Epson would have accomplished what Lexmark tried to do if they had included a wireless network card, since everything else works great.

This printer is well worth the money. Unless you need built-in wireless or double-sided printing, you can''t beat the value.

will not fax, scan or print at all if any of the 4 cartridges need replacement.

magenta ink cartridge low? sorry, you cannot send a faxeven though sending a fax requires no ink.

same with scanning or printing black and white.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER! I may not know much about all the other new printers, multi-purpose or otherwise, that are out on the market but I know when I, as a consumer, am being huckstered and taken advantage of, and that is what the Epson company is doing.

I have been using computers and printers in my business since 1981 so I know a little about what to expect and how I should be treated by a vendor. I used to swear by Epson printers when they were dot matrix, ribbon affairs and even after. But today they have a new corporate culture. I will never, never, buy another Epson product because of this CX9400 which I made the mistake of buying. Here is why:

I am not your average "pie in the sky" reviewer. The question is NOT whether this printer works when its working, it is about the disrespect and contempt which the Epson company has for you and me as their customers.

I don''t know about you, but I do not need a printer company or computer company to use my computer as an advertising mechanism to hawk their overpriced wares. In this case, their outrageously expensive ink.

I read that others are having the same problem with this ink guzzling monster and most of the reviews pan the printer. Go to and see for yourself. Out of 145 reviews 48% panned the printer while only 39% liked it. Well, I''m panning both the printer and the company.

The trouble is, the computer TELLS you that it is out of ink even when you KNOW that it is not. They have built it into the electronics of their ink cartridges (as if ink cartridges need electronics to communicate with the computer). They are not satisfied with the customer finding out that they have run out of ink and need to replace the ink cartridge, no, they MUST tell you and then stop, I said STOP, the printer from functioning until you obey. This is insulting. It would not be so bad if you didn''t absolutely KNOW that the cartridge wasn''t empty and if they sold their ink at a reasonable price.

First, you should know that printer ink, especially Epson printer ink, is argueably the most expensive consumer liquid in the world. You can buy a barrel of oil for less than it costs to buy the 3 cartridges the CX9400 needs. LITERALLY, a barrel of oil. There is nothing short of rare chemicals more expensive for the faction of an ounce that you are buying. But to extort you into buying their ink by shutting down the machine which you bought and paid for and they now are using as their agent in your office to force you to buy ink, it is an abuse and disrespect for the customer. It shows a corporate contempt for their customers.

There are programs out there intended to defeat this overbearing feature but, as yet, Epson has been able to prevent them from being useful on the CX9400. Thus the CX9400 is still one of Epson''s cash cows in your office ready to hawk their overpriced product using your printer and your computer. Remember, whenever the cartridge says so, you MUST buy new cartridges because the printer simply will no longer work until you do and their is nothing you can do about it.

Furthermore, since buying the printer 6 months ago I have already had to have it replaced once because the scanner failed.

So if you are one of those "Have a nice day" types who have been reviewing here and who don''t mind being abused walked on by a vendor to whom you have paid your good money, then buy their products. Knock yourselves out. Otherwise avoid Epson, avoid its products, the CX9400, and their corporate mentality like the plague.

Casio used to be a trustworthy quality brand name for small electronics. This product does meet the basic published specifications. However, the "details" should cause the potential buyer to look at some other product. To date, the key functions have been found to be counter-intuitive by five different people. The User Manual is worse than terrible. The support telephone number leads you into a maize that ends with a request for a chargeable credit card. No on-line support for this model could be found at the Casio web site. And the crowning detail is that the printer output lines cannot be read until about five "lines" after each line is printed. The only good feature of this calculator is the ease of paper loading. This is a good feature because you will be probably be using about 4 times as much paper than with any other printing calculator.

I highly recommend a Thermal printer over any other kind-

I ordered this machine because I wanted a large, bright display. My eyesight isn''t what it used to be. And the display is great.

The manual, however, is awful. It is in many languages. The print is small and what it says is not very informative. It does show samples. If you are used to this type of machine, it is probably adequate, but I''m not.

I have been able to use it, but I haven''t had the patience to learn all the things it can do.

Also they only include a tiny roll of paper.

I have owned various printing calculators (3 from Sharp and two from other makers). Every one is broken now and I needed new one and bought this, because it doesn''t need ink ribbon and the paper stays protected.

This calculator is better than expected. It works very quietly and has many interesting functions like ability to change its font and store results. And this is much faster than those which use ink ribbon. I''m very satisfied with this calculator.

New - MFC Color Laser by Brother International - MFC-9970CDW

New - MFC Color Laser by Brother International - MFC-9970CDW

We go through printers pretty frequently, because we move them a lot, which doesn''t seem to improve their durability. We have had color laser all-in-ones from HP and Brother before this, and an inkjet all-in-one from Canon before those.

This is by far the best out of any of the all-in-ones that I''ve tried or owned. I highly recommend it. The output is great and it is simple to use and maintain. I even find that the cartridges last longer on this one than the previous Brother machine that I''ve had, when comparing actual life to advertized life.

The only features that the 9970 have that isn''t common among the field of color laser all-in-ones, is the duplex printing, and the color touch screen. Both work great, and surprised me. I was worried that the duplex feature would cause jams and other problems, but it never has. I thought that the touch screen was a useless gimmick that added cost with no real benefit. That too proved to be inaccurate. It is surprisingly useful, especially the way it walks you through maintenance tasks.

I''ve had this machine for 7 months now and have not had any issues or complaints. It prints very well and does every advertised function exactly as you would hope that it would.

My only piece of advice when buying this machine is to watch the price. It seems to fluctuate widely, as do some of the other Brother all-in-one machine. Over the course of a few weeks, it will fluctuate by over one hundred dollars, on Amazon.

After you buy the machine, I recommend that you stick to genuine Brother cartridges with no modifications. I ruined a different Brother all-in-one by modifying the cartridges to get extra life out of them. I saved a few hundred dollars on toner, but ended up making a mess and having to spend even more to buy a new machine.

Instead of physically modifying the cartridges or using generics or refills, you can follow this procedure to extend the life of the legit cartridges: 1) Open the toner door. 2) Press "1" on the number pad, while the door is open. 3) Scroll down to reset the life on the cartridge that is "out of life":

K.TNR-STD (Standard Capacity)

K.TNR-HC (High Capacity)

K.TNR-S.HC (Unknown)

C.TNR-HC (High Capacity)

C.TNR-S.HC (Unknown)

M.TNR-HC (High Capacity)

M.TNR-S.HC (Unknown)

Y.TNR-STD (Standard Capacity)

Y.TNR-HC (High Capacity)

After resetting it, you can run it until the print quality degrades which is often another 1000 or more pages.

Avery White Clean Edge Two Sided Laser Business Cards, 2 x 3.5 Inches, Box of 400
  • Clean Edge Business Cards Snap apart for easy separation and smooth clean edges with no perforations
  • Use the back of the card for maps, directions, product or price lists, appointment reminders, coupons, photos, calendars, etc
  • Because you print only the amount of cards you need when you need them, you can change them as often as you''d like

I used this product for the first time recently and was extremely pleased with the physical printing process and clarity. I use a Lexmark color laser printer set for label printing and the cards came out clean...even with me printing on both sides. I used the manual feed and put each sheet through once for the front of the card and again for the back of the card. I don''t yet know what the longevity of the print is, but I''m not too concerned with that, since I believe most people use business cards for a reference to input the information into their own electronic system and toss the card into a desk drawer, file, or the trash can. It sure beats handwriting the information for them. As far as separating the cards from each other, I was amazed how cleanly they came apart. I followed the directions on the sheet, ''fold this side inward'', which it indicates is very important, and they just snapped apart from the outer edge of the sheet and each other. I am truly impressed and don''t know why this would have presented a problem for anyone.

In comparison, some cards I''ve had before from professional printing companies were on slightly heavier cardstock, but these have a good presentation and certainly fit the bill for my present needs. Based on my viewpoint of a business card''s purpose this day and age, I don''t know that I will ever switch to professionally printed cards so long as these stay reasonably priced and maintain their quality. If I do switch to professionally printed cards later, these will serve well for printing temporary cards for new hires.

Buy Avery White Clean Edge Two Sided Laser Business Cards (5877) Now

I purchased this to print business cards for myself and for my wife. I used a color laserjet printer (HP Color LJ 3550) to print on these cards. The result was very impressive: The cards printed on these were indistinguishable from the original professional cards. What this means to me was that I can modify the card to my liking, such as print on the back side of the card. Also, the clean-edge is a very key feature of this product. No more rough edges from the perforations.

First, I downloaded and installed Avery Design Pro from the avery website. Next, I aligned the printer though the software. Then, I designed the master layout, and then printed it out. Voila! The cards came out beautifully! My suggestion is to first print out on regular paper first, and see if the printed cards align properly with the sheets. Mine were aligned perfectly, but I had to help my colleague troubleshoot with her printout, which took just a 5 minutes more.

Next, I played around with the design of the back of the card. After figuring out what I wanted (which was just a simple picture to go on the upper right corner of the back) I created a JPEG of the logo, uploaded it, positioned and resized it, and then I flipped the sheet on the manual feed tray, and printed perfectly! There was no smearing out of the printer, and also the images/text did not smear when I ran my finger on it. Of course, this may vary from printer to printer, and user to user.

I liked it so much that I made my own personal cards, just for the fun of it. I''ve also been successful using this on an inkjet printer, but I let the printout sit for a minute before handling it (in case the ink was still wet). I liked the result from the laserjet better, but it is nice to know that I can use these on an inkjet as well. I believe there is a different set of cards that was designed for printing with an inkjet printer.

Overall, I am quite pleased with this. It is easy to print on both sides, and the clean edge makes these cards come out looking very professional. Highly recommended. Fully deserves the 5-star rating.

They''re great when you print one or maybe two sheets at a time. If you print more than one at a time, you get this weird plastic outcropping. I guess that plastic is what holds the cards together, and lets them have a clean edge. When they are printed multiple sheets at one time, you the plastic melts slightly, and seems to stick to the edges. Not exactly clean edge anymore, is it? ;)

Good product. They separate well. Cards are a little flimsy, but I suppose that makes them run through the printer well. I recommend them.

Canon Pixma MP530 Office All-In-One Inkjet Photo Printer

Canon Pixma MP530 Office All-In-One Inkjet Photo Printer
  • Compact, stylish unit saves on office space while giving you all the features your workgroup needs to thrive
  • Features a productive 30-page Automatic Document Feeder; prints up to 29 pages per minute (ppm) in black and white, and 19 ppm in color
  • 150-page fax memory safely stores all incoming faxes if paper or ink runs out; built-in scanner offers 1200 by 2400 dots per inch optical resolution
  • Dimensions: 18.4 x 10.4 x 18.4 inches (WxHxD); weighs 28.2 pounds
  • All-In-One photo printer prints, copies, scans, and faxes

You should be aware that this printer has a serious "ink low" behavior. When any ink cartridge is getting low (which still means a lot of ink left by the way), it changes the Fax reception model. Instead of printing your faxes as they arrive, it dumps them into memory. So, even though yellow (say) is low, it will not print your B&W fax!

It takes more than 5 steps to print the fax and delete it (menu, scroll to memory item, ok, scroll to print, OK document, scroll to print all pages, ok, menu to go up, scroll to delete, ok to delete, ok to delete, menu to get out).

Worse, after a couple of these, the memory is mixed up. So, when you want to send a Fax, it will say "memory full" even though the memory is empty. You then have to power cycle the printer (hold down on/off for 1 second, wait 10 seconds, power on, wait for it to get ready (another 10-20 seconds).

This means you either have to waste ink by throwing out cartridges before they are empty, or you have to deal with this mess. Canon says there is no workaround or fix for this.

There are 3 other problems with copying you should know before you buy (I wish I did):

1. You cannot use the Auto Document Feeder (sheet feeder) when copying or scanning with any setting in auto (exposure, size, etc). It does not make any of that clear, so if you find it refuses the auto doc feeder, reset everything to manual :-(

2. Black duplex printing uses color cartridges for one of the sides, so uses the more expensive ink. That is, it does not use the blank ink for both sides.

3. Copying speeds are much slower than the blurb implies. If you make 10 copies of one page, it is as fast as they say. If you copy multiple pages, each one takes much much longer, does the scan, and then does the print. Also, if any setting is in auto mode, it does a two pass scan (one to check the page), and that takes a really long time.

I''ve had this Canon All-In-One for about a week now. It was very easy to set-up with my Windows XP machine due to the clear, easy to follow instructions. It''s desktop footprint is surprisingly small and it takes up less space on my desk than the printer and photocopy machines it replaces.

Print quality overall is very good, while the printer is quiet and fast. Text is clear and crisp and color photos are printed with surprising quality on photo paper. Maybe not quite as good as a dedicated photo printer but, never the less, good enough for this professional photographer as quick proofs.

The scanner is not of the highest quality, but seems to scan well at medium resolution and with fair color fidelity. Not quite a dedicated professional photographers scanner but perfect for normal home and home business uses. The software is easy to use and in advanced mode, quite flexible, enabling the user to dial in manual settings to make the best scan possible. The auto settings seem quite satisfactory for basic home users and should make scanned images look colorful and sharp.

I have not had a chance to see if all the Fax functions work as advertised and I have not yet explored all the ways in which this flexible machine works. The 2 paper trays is a great idea I store normal paper in one and glossy photo paper in the other one push of a button on the front control panel and the paper source can be chosen, eliminating the need to swap out paper types.

I will also have to see how economical the MP530 is with ink cartridges, but having spent the 1st 2 days printing everything I could as tests, the software reports that the ink cartridges are pretty much full.

The MP530 looks great, performs very well and is a good price. So far I am very pleased.

Update on 9-26-06 : I have had some time to use more of the many functions of this printer.

The Fax function has now been tested and works fine with my telephone/answering machine. It sits in line with the phone and only cuts in to pick up the fax if there is an incoming fax, otherwise the answer phone does it''s job unhindered. Perfect!

I have had also a chance to print some photo business cards, quite a few high resolution 8x10 photos and the normal daily B&W text printing. Print quality overall has been very good and the Duplex print (as well as the duplex copy) functions have been very much appreciated and used continuously, as has the web print software. According to the ink cartridge software, the cartridges seem to be still fairly full. The ADF (auto document feeder) works ok if what you feed into it is uncreased, unfolded and of the standard letter size.

The overall build quality is great and I have had nothing but compliments from people who have seen this printer and its output.

I also had a difficult time finding one of these units to actually see and touch and reviews on this machine are few and far between. I finally found one at Fry''s electronics in Fountain Valley.

We have been using an HP officejet 6110 and it finally stopped recognizing print cartridges so I decided to look for a new machine. I was not happy with the cost of replacement cartridges for the hp and it goes through them fairly quickly. The Canon uses induvidual ink cartridges and reviews of similar Canon''s show one of the lowest printing costs available in an inkjet.

I have read the reviews for the mp500 and the mp830. Most people seem to be happy with these machines. I was about to purchase an mp500 when I saw the mp530 on the Canon website. I preferred the 530 because of the fax capability. I believe the 530 uses the same print technology as the 500, and the copy/scanning mechanism is also the same. I use an mp500 at work and the print quality is very good and the scan quality I would rate as good so I ordered the 530.

I have been very happy with the quality of the print. As good as the hp6110 or better. The copy quality is good but the colors tend to be a little washed out which is similar to the mp500. I am sure an adjustment in the printer settings would help with the colors. Quality is a little less than that of the hp but it uses a different scanning mechanism and the quality is acceptable for our uses. I have yet to use the fax function so I am not able to comment on that feature.

I am also very pleased with the looks of the machine. All of the doors and covers close giving the 530 a very sleek look unlike the HP. The output door opens automatically when printing or copying. The print speed is also faster than the 6110.

So far I have not had any compatability issues with the Canon. I have this printer connected to an imac G5 and it works very well. Overall I have given a rating of 4 stars. I think it is an excellent value for the price. After my experience with the hp6110 I don''t think I will go back to hp. From what I have read Canon''s products are generally reliable and that will hopefully be the case with this machine as well.

Hope this review helps.

I purchased the Canon MP530 and have had very good results so far. All the bad reviews about the ink cartridges are by people who gave up on the printer without a simple Google search to fix the problems. You can disable the Print Monitor all together so that the printer will work no matter how low the ink levels are. This is helpful when you refill the ink cartridges yourself, as I have done. Canon would love you buy their tanks every time they go low, but you can refill them yourself; but you must turn off the print monitor because the printer thinks it''s tanks are empty even though you''ve refilled them.

Do it this way: 1) go to "maintenance" tab on print properties 2) select "View Printer Status" from the bottom 3) Click "Option" and deselect "Enable Status Monitor" -That Simple!

A minor annoyance that doesn''t warrant a one-star rating from other users. I really like this printer!

I''ve had this machine for about ten days now, long enough to test all its features and find that I''m 100% satisfied with every one of them.

Installation was a no-brainer on both my XP and iBook

Photos print fabulously with the sample canon glossy paper included

Scanning is extraordinarily good! And the software which allows you to manipulate your scanned images is super useful and very easy to use.

I scanned in my tax returns and saved them to PDF files in 10 minutes!

I scanned in a 2x3 photo from 1964, enlarged it to 4x5 and printed it in 5 minutes, and the new image is as good as the original!

Copying and FAXing are easy and faster than on my old HP Laserjet 3200

The back sheet feeder and lower cartridge work well, provide convenience, and fold up to protect from dust when not in use, as does the automatic document feeder up top.

The paper catcher even unfolds automatically if you are printing a document or photo and forgot to open it!

The machine is very quiet.

UI on the printer panel is intuitive, and the accompanying software is really good, with no conflicts with XP, which is often a problem.

Highly highly recommend this product. Totally worth its price tag.

HP Photosmart 8250 Printer (Q3470A#ABA)

  • Automated 4x6-inch tray for dedicated photo printing; optional auto two-sided printing
  • Image display to view photos and videos, freeze your favorite scene and print

This is an excellent printer for the serious photographer. The images are clear, sharp, and crisp, and professional in every way, at least to my amateur eye. I am a picky amateur photographer, and I bought this printer so that I could easily print 8x10, 5x7, and 4x6 photos from my several digital cameras. This printer does the job. This is a beautifully engineered and solid piece of equipment.

Some technical issues. Beware, when the ink first prints, it smears easily, so let it dry for a few minutes--it dries quickly enough. I am happy to say that the photo download from the card reader slot (I measured it on the CF card reader--I haven''t tried it for my SD cards yet) is lightning fast, as compared to my older HP printers, I guess that is the USB 2.0 that this device features. This is a welcome improvement--earlier HP printers lagged behind even cheap card readers in speed. No more.

So far my print feeds have been flawless and jam-free. You can effortlessly switch between 4x6 and 8x10 prints, and the feeds are fine. (Haven''t tried 5x7s yet, but I expect no problems.) When you first take the printer out of the box it will prompt you to put paper in the printer and let it test the ink cartridges. Beware--you need to install them first. This only takes a second, and these are the most foolproof printer cartridges I have ever seen, but the printer does not tell you that the cartridges are not yet installed, at least not until you try to run the diagnostic. No big deal; I installed them, and the printer calibrated itself perfectly!

The printer installed perfectly and effortlessly the very first time. Simply insert the supplied CD and follow the instructions. Remember not to insert the (not supplied!) USB2 cable into the computer until the software prompts you to do so.

It appears to me that some of the other reviewers (here on Amazon) of this printer made the same initial mistake I made. Specifically, here is the deal: this printer can detect what kind of paper you are feeding it (if it is HP paper anyway)--it detects it from a code on the back of the paper and it adjusts the ink application accordingly. Further, this printer is very precise as to how it applies ink to a given paper type. So if you try to manually tell it what kind of paper you are using, and if you guess wrong, you will get lousy pictures with the ink incorrectly applied. Once I figured out the rather amazing fact that this printer KNOWS what kind of paper it is printing on, I started getting wonderful pictures. (It literally never occurred to me that it could do this--I had to, you guessed it, read the manual to find this out). This is cool--you can insert different kinds of HP photo paper in the same stack, e.g. matte, glossy, etc. and expect to get perfect pictures without having to look in the printer to see what paper is next. Just tell it on the print menu to automatically select the paper type. I love the 21st century!

Personally, I think that HP has hit a home run with this one. While I cannot compare this one to its rivals from Epson or Canon (I have not reviewed these), I can say that I am completely satisfied. Recommended.

I bought this printer a few weeks ago, and I have been delighted with the results thus far. I use the printer for some document printing, but primarily for photos. Some of the pros are: built-in image editing, support for most digital camera memory cards, USB 2.0, and individual ink cartridges.

I have to disagree with some of the issues presented by other reviewers. With regards to the "dpi issue", I too noticed the dots in some of the photos, but only when I held the photos extremely close (less than 6") to my eyes. No one looking at the photos would hold them that close, and I don''t think the dots are noticeable under normal viewing conditions. Some of the other reviewers also spoke about inaccurate color rendering. I had some color issues as well when I first started using the printer, but after tweaking some of the settings, my printed colors are a dead-on match with my monitor colors. Proper color management is absolutely critical to getting accurate colors regardless of what printer you have. Whether you''re working in the sRGB or AdobeRGB colorspace, this involves correctly calibrating your monitor, and correctly setting up color management in your photo editing software (I use Photoshop CS2) and printer.

The only gripe I have about the printer is that it would be nice to have larger ink-cartridges, and make them transparent so that a visual check could be done against the built in ink sensor.

Pros:

Print speed is great (once it has performed it''s maintenance cycle).

Dedicated tray for 4x6 photo paper.

Photo printing top notch, including great automatic refinishing options (red eye, smart focus, smart sharpness) as good as any photo lab on the best HP paper.

Direct print from media cards, including still capture from some movie modes.

Hopeful ink cost should be better than combined cartridge models, has 6 individual carts that are ~ $10 a pop.

Cons:

Long and noisy "start up" maintenance cycle or as I call it the daily regiment. Once completed it''s fairly quiet and FAST.

Slow transfer to PC from media card readers will not replace your dedicated USB 2.0 card reader that''s for sure.

HP''s lovely virtual print driver...if you want to share the printer (or use it for home printing from office VPN/Remote Desktop connections) the driver needs to be manually installed on all PCs don''t bother calling HP for help on that though ;-) had to figure it out on my own.

Black and white printing ... not really black, more of a greenish grey. Oh well, it''s a photo printer first.

I must first disclose, that this is my first in-depth experience with printing color photos in significant volume. I am using the HP Photosmart 8250 for a work project, and cost of printing is not a major issue, as my employer is demanding near photo quality.

Personally, I have always been a "gray-scale" fan for my own personal ink jet use, and if given a choice, I would use our color laser printer for printing the photo brochures that I am printing on this HP 8250 (yeah, I know....lasers do not give a real photo-like image, but at 10% of the cost.....).

So, here is my experience.....a co-worker bought this printer, and since the boss demanded "a quality product" for our advertising brochures, the laser printer I prefer using was voted off the island. My first prints on this printer were horrible! I started with regular copy paper, then bright multi-use paper, and finally Office Depot glossy presentation paper. All of these showed blurry, smeared prints, with no color definition.

I learned, by accident, that this printer wants HP brand paper. Any HP paper. I know many say they have had good results from store brand paper, but I had no luck, even after adjusting the printer settings. Even the cheapest HP multi purpose paper showed a nice photo, giving a better result than the high dollar Office Depot brochure paper. Thankfully, HP paper is not much more expensive than store brands. HP really scored a victory here -they are ensuring, by whatever auto-sensing method this machine uses, that users will likely buy their paper.

I am printing mostly on glossy 44 lb stock, and there are some minor defects where dots are visible, or the photo shows some scaliness. However, one must look very closely to see these defects. I have gotten much better results on matte brochure paper---visible dots disappeared. But, the boss likes "the shiny ones."

Finally, and most important, is ink cost. I have printed about 250, 8.5" x 11" brochures, all full color with about 80% image coverage, and my ink cost is now over $300.00. HP represents that the 8250 has a low ink cost, and perhaps this does represent a low cost. Since my experience in printing large quantities of photos with inkjets is limited, I do not know. Do single cartridge inkjets use this much ink? Perhaps those of you that print lots of photos are used to this cost. I love gray-scale.

One observation that could save you a fortune: the cartridges in the photo pack ($35 for all 6 refills, plus 150 4x6 photo sheets) seem to last about as long as the individually sold $10 cartridges. In fact, I tried to find out the volume of ink in the photo pack refills. I called HP to get an answer. Somehow I got switched to what seemed to be their India division (hope I don''t get a long distance bill), but the foreign lady still was willing to try to help. After about 20 minutes of persistence, I was told the photo pack ''custom'' cartidges have 9 ml of ink in each. Hmmm....

If that number is accurate, they contain much more ink than standard cartridges (3.5 ml to 6.0 ml each), and at a cost more than 40% less than individual refills. Actual testing is needed to confirm, but HP seems to go to great lengths to hide the ink volume for ''custom'' cartridges. However, after going through 40-50 cartridges, I have noticed no difference in longevity. Further, the actual ink volume is not important, as the sensor on the cartridge estimates ink levels. So, give the photo value pack a try---you may lower ink costs by 40%.

So, to recap: this printer does produce images most would call very good, at least if you use HP paper. It is easy to use. I can confirm the paper feeding problems others have described, especially with heavy papers. Any volume printing requires many ink cartridge changes. And, printing gets very expensive, however perhaps the expense is not unique to this model.

WOW! That is all I have to say about this printer. HP has finally shown that once again it will always lead the pack and make everyone else copy their technology. I just got this printer about a 4 days ago, and the speed and quality of the prints are faster and just as close as my i9900. The first thing that allured me was the ink and printhead being seperated which allows for a more continuous flow of the ink which by the way seems like it never runs out. There is a new closed tank system where the ink is recycled when it is used during maitenance procedures!!! Great plus! Also the printhead has 3900 nozzles which makes this puppy push out photos faster than some of my other pro photo takers have ever seen. I love this printer and suggest for anyone into photography from casual printers to serious ones (that can take the limit of 8.5" x 24) to go get this printer. For around the $200 price range and only $34.99 to replace the ink and get paper!!! IT IS THE BEST DEAL AVAILABLE! HP you have once again won me over. Keep the creativity flowing.

These are the two brands I see the most displayed in stores, so that''s why I made the comparison in the headline. They''re also the two top displayed brands on here, so I guess they have the market all tied-up. As far as quality is concerned, I''ll be sticking to the Southworth brand as the quality is very noticeable within a couple seconds of glancing at both carefully. The price on the Southworth brand is definitely worth the quality you''ll receive in return. I''m using it for advertising purposes, so the impression laid on the subconscious when a client first handles the marketing material is worth the extra cost. I used Wausau when money was tight and I didn''t really have a choice. It served its purpose and did it well. Now that I have a little extra, I''m going back to Southworth.

The paper is ivory which is probably the second most used color for resumes. I like the texture of the paper. Even though it is a lighter weight, the subtle texture suggests something more elegant. What I hate is the watermark. Instead of a crest, they place a recycling symbol with the word "royal" on the paper. It is visible and not always at the bottom or top of the paper. Additionally, the watermark is not small. Lest you think this is the only type of Wausau Royal Stationery with a watermark, I can tell you it is not. I have another type of Wausau Royal and it also has a gigantic, tacky watermark of a slightly different appearance. If you want something professional, don''t select this paper.

Quality stationery and it works well in my printer. It looks professional and I would buy this product again. It''s worth the money.

This paper is similar to the envelopes I purchased for correspondence and flyers to use in my campaign for Supervisor. It is also used for thank you letters to people who donate to my campaign.
