Kodak 1820406 Anytime Picture Paper, 8.5x11 (20 sheets)

Kodak 1820406 Anytime Picture Paper, 8.5x11
  • Sheets are two-sided? perfect for photo albums
  • Ideal for full-frame photo enlargements
  • Affordably priced for everyday use
  • Compatible with all inkjet printers
  • Dimensions 8.5 X 11

If you are not printing for special use this paper is ok. Just want to share a photo, or maybe hang a photo up at work? go for this paper. If you are looking to spend less on the paper you are printing your photos on this is it. The quality is not the best. Definately not what I expect from the Kodak name. This really is for general use-not for those special pictures you want to look great!

Inkpress Watercolor Linen, Texture Matte Archival Cotton Rag Inkjet Paper

Inkpress Watercolor Linen, Texture Matte Archival Cotton Rag Inkjet Paper, 15mil., 250gsm, 11x17'', 25 Sheets. This paper is suitable for fine art printing. The textured surface of the paper can give an added dimension to certain types of photos. I use it primarily for old rustic scenes that include buildings. this paper is substantial in thickness and is best fed into the printer that can handle thick media. you should be aware that the texture may cause more ink to be used in certain areas, making them darker than your computer screen. I do not use it for scenes having a lot of dark items. inkpress offers a variety of icc profiles that can be dowloaded for use in printing. If you cant use profiles, the photo rag paper setting may suffice. this paper comes in several sizes but I prefer 11by17 since this reduces cropping.

I ordered this item for use in a HP cp1160 inkjet printer. The printer reads an expiration date code from the ink cartridge, and if the cartridge is expired, the printer will not operate. When I installed the remanufactured tricolor cartridge to replace an empty one, the printer did not recognize it as a valid cartridge and did not operate. Replacement with a factory-original tricolor cartridge restored proper operation. Perhaps the idea of remanufactured cartridges is a good one for printers that do not have the expiration date code "feature", but it is not a good idea for the HP cp1160. I do not know if other machines that use the same cartridges would have the same problem. Since the printer is old and ink cartridges are getting hard to get, I will replace it soon, but definitely not with one made by HP! The prices for factory-original HP cartridges are very high, and I feel that the expiration date code "feature" is just a scam to sell more expensive ink cartridges.

I ordered these labels hoping to be very pleased after reading the reviews. I was so disappointed when I opened the package and realized that this is no difference with the front and back of the label, so now I have to go through and mark the back of each label so that we don''t get it mixed up when printing. I am also disappointed that there aren''t any cut lines in the paper backing to help peel the paper off the label. You never know exactly what something will be like when you order online, but now I know. I think that the labels are of good quality, but I''m slightly frustrated in the added time I''m going to have to put into using these labels.

Buy OnlineLabels.com® Full-sheet Shipping Labels for Laser & Inkjet Printers Now

These labels are GREAT and have an AMAZING price, but the only way to differentiate between the front of the labels and the back is to peel them apart. Once, you have that figured out, though, they''re a great product! They''re decently sticky, not easy to see through if you''re placing them on top of something else (I use them for water bottle labels), and you can''t beat the price and the ease of printing. I have used them with professional laser printers and at home on my inkjet and I get great quality both ways. Also, I ordered them and got them 2 days later, which is awesome because this company fills their own orders, they aren''t filled by Amazon.

I gave them a 5 only because there isn''t a 4.5 listed--the front/back thing is a little annoying (I''ve printed an entire order on the wrong side once), but its flaw mixes with user error, so if you''re careful, you won''t have the same problem I did!

This review depends on which supplier you buy from , i would recommend buying from OnlineLabels because his peel quickly & and easy & the seller OnlineProductsForAll labels are very difficult to peel & you will spend 20-30 seconds each label peeling & that is if you have good vision & fingernails .

I have not bought from the other suppliers, so i am not able to review any others.

We''ve been using this printer as the main printer in our small business and it works flawlessly. Not a single paper jam in thousands of pages printed. Perfect quality every time, and the toner seems to last forever. Great machine!

I bought this printer to serve a workgroup. It worked fine until I added the optional 500 page paper tray. When using the optional paper tray it misfeeds all of the time so, I finally discarded the optional paper tray, placed the printer in a lower duty area, and bought an HP printer where I needed multiple paper trays. The OKI works fine for limited use.

This printer is probably the most economical to print, rated at ~1.2 cent/ page when using their high capacity 10k cartridge. I felt that it also prints very fast, and I assume that''s because it uses LED arrays rather than laser. The resolution, although claimed to be 1200x1200, is probably not as good as regular laser printer with similar specs. This is most apparent if the documents involve any kind of graphic and/or if the electronic version of your document has any color other than black and white. On the other hand, if you only want to print documents that are black and white text, this printer is perfect.

I use these to print invitations or repetitive notes (mail merge stuff). I print out my notes, then cut them so they fit onto the cards I''m using. My handwriting is often difficult to read (even for me) so these clear sheets help me get my point across without the frustration of illegible writing. Amazon''s price is about the same as Staples'' and with "Prime" shipping, it''s easier than driving the 8-10 miles to my closest office supply store.

I''ve had these same "see-through" labels in the past a few times and they did the job, although they are not a 100% see-through. They have a very soft filmy look to them but they are still a good transparency. I personally think these are going to be your best choice for a home ink-jet printer making stickers. The next best thing, which would be something more of a grade of lamination, is an actual sticker-making machine. They are very inexpensive (usually $30 or less) and make great completely clear adhesive labels/stickers. It always depends on what you''re looking for in a final product. I like these because I can cut a clean thin edge and it leaves a smooth surface. The stickers on the sticker-making machine are slightly thicker harder edges because of the plastic it uses. This is all ok, but it simply depends on what you''re wanting your projects to look and feel like or what you need or don''t need. Hope this helps!

I have an HP 8450xi printer and I''ve been stunned by the results that I can get with this paper.

I bought the printer because I shoot all of my photos in RAW format and save edited versions in lossless formats. Photo labs require that the pictures be saved in JPEG, which can introduce artifacts, even at the highest quality setting. This is especially a problem with subtle shading, like cloudy gray skies. A commercial printing service ruined several photos from an overcast day at the ocean by introducing such artifacts, so I decided to take control over my own photos.

The 8450xi printing on this paper gives me total control of my photos and amazing results. When printed at the maximum DPI quality setting, the details are stunningthe sharpest photos that I''ve ever seen.

Photo paper is specific to manufacturer, so don''t use this paper in your Canon or Epson printer like another reviewer didyou''ll probably be disappointed by the results. If you have a Canon printer, buy Canon paper. Also, don''t use it in your older HP printer. (The box specifically lists the Photosmart 100, 130, 230, 1000, 1100, 1115,1215, 1218, or 1315 and HP Deskjet 950 series as printers that are not compatible with this paper.)

If you have one of the HP printers that this is designed for and you want professional-looking, long lasting photos, you can''t beat this paper. If you''re just looking to print snapshots and you don''t really care about the quality, this isn''t the paper for you. You''re probably better off using a printing service, or buying cheap photo paper. Because of the cost, I save this paper for the photos that really matter and print the rest of them at Snapfish.

Very nice quality paper. Has an extra half inch in length that is not printed on and is perforated so it can be removed after the picture is dry. Is great for holding the picture when it first comes out of the printer and it''s still wet. Would definitely buy more.

Got this photo paper in order to print a few photographs at home. I''ve used HP photo papers in the past, primarily with HP printers, and have always had great results. I tried using this paper with my new wireless Epson Expression Home XP-400 printer, and the results were close to disastrous. The quality of prints was really, really low, and my photographs had none of the usual shine and vividness that you associate with photos. I strongly recommend that you use this paper with HP printers or perhaps the Canon printers. I don''t think that the fault is with this paper: I''ve had similar suboptimal results with other documents on my Epson printer.

The paper is of a much lighter weight than expected. I sort of assumed that there would be only one weight for this paper, I had ordered this same paper from the Neenah website previously... so I can''t really use it for what I was planning it. Also, I don''t like that the watermark is so prominent... if you are using it for stationary, think twice. It is really in your face, and I find that disturbing on a letterhead.

The paper itself is actually acceptable. However, every time I order it several reams (or partial reams) come damaged and unusable. It is shipped in the same box that the manufacturer puts it in. When shipping smaller quantities by common carrier, this item needs to be "double-boxed" so that the corners and edges are not damaged during shipment. This has become very frustrating. Maybe better to just buy locally?

I bought this Neenah Paper only because my letterhead, which I got printed by a professional printer, came on this paper, and I wanted to match it.

Frankly, I prefer Southworth paper. This paper is more expensive than Southworth and does not have enough texture ... it is too smooth, and once it goes through the laser printer, it is smoother, giving my clients the impression I print my statements on plain old colored ''xerox'' paper.

The price is right, however, as I got it for about 15.00 a ream cheaper than the printer I bought it from originally.

My HP 890C inkjet printer stopped feeding properly some months ago. I had extra ink cartridges on hand, and they''re expensive, so I continued to use it, even though I was hand-feeding just about everything. It was a rare occasion when it fed two sheets of ordinary copy paper consecutively. So, finally I gave up in disgust and bought the Photosmart 7150 Inkjet a few days ago.

It feeds well, and tonight I just finished printing 32 old family black and white photos, four copies of each,4 up on each 8.5" X 11" sheet of Kodak glossy photopaper.

The quality is superb! At least as good as the prints you would expect from a quality photo shop. I should say that, on the best quality setting, the printer is extremely slow. But the quality makes the wait worthwhile. Also, it assists in the drying for the picture to come through slowly.

I had a heck of a time getting 4 up of the same picture on a single sheet. Finally, I went to Corel Draw 8 (Corel Photo Paint

didn''t help) and imported 4 copies of the same picture and enlarged them to fill the sheet. It worked fine, and now I know how to do it in the future.

The printer is inexpensive, and I hope it continues to feed properly. The best printer I ever had was an HP Laserjet, which I bought in 1989. My experience with that one keeps me coming back to Hewlett Packard. I''ve had three or four printers since then, and except for the 890C they''ve all met my expectations.

Now, if only they would come up with a printer that was fast, as well as capable of good quality...

Put the old camera & film in the attic for nostalgia sake! Get a 2 MP digital or higher and print your photos with this printer! The 4"x6" tray is a plus for album & framed prints and the 8x10 tray is fine for multiple prints on one page (called albums). I use desktop publishing programs to create collages of pictures as well. The photo print quality of the HP is magnificent! People who see my photos cannot believe a printer produced them with such vivid color and clarity. I have made "memories" CD''s using my cdwriter and imported background music for the "slide shows". The HP software does it all follow the directions. User friendly and the ink goes a long way! Don''t pass on this one I paid ... only 3 months ago and it''s worth much more -it''s on sale so run for it! Print only what you like and you will LOVE what you print!

This is my third HP and the results just keep getting better. The 7150 is stylish and well designed. The printer has a 4 x 6 photo tray that allows 20 sheets of photo paper to be loaded and printed in a batch mode directly from HP''s excellant photo printing / album layout software. Even with the 20 sheets of 4 x 6 paper loaded you can still print on regular paper via a lower paper tray. Prints using the photo color cartridge are stunning. I have to say I sold my Epson 820 in no time flat and even made my Canon friend blush when he saw how incredible the prints are. As always the big advantage to HP is the quality. These printers don''t jam, don''t need head cleaning and don''t require tweaking to get the results you see on screen.

...until I discovered it doesn''t work with Vista.

Since every other printer I have (Samsung, Sony, Epson, Kodak) works fine in Vista (I''m in the photo biz and have a lot of printers!), I can only conclude that HP is doing something "nonstandard" in its driver and if it followed the rules for writing a printer driver it would have worked.

If you think you may run Vista, do NOT buy this printer.

HP''s support web site gave me the run-around....it referred me to a page that did not include information for this device.

I have used this printer with a Presario XP computer. It has been flawless in photo printing, graphic output, and is a draft mode workhorse. I give it five stars for: durability, performance, and quality.

Now you should know: HP will NOT provide a VISTA printer driver. That means you CANNOT use this printer in VISTA. I have spent over one week attempting to use various HP print drivers to no avail. I have contacted HP. Their response: HP will not support this printer in VISTA buy a new printer.

I''m taking their advice. I''m buying an EPSON.

First, the bad news:

If "printing", for you, means printing out 200 pages in a day, then this printer isn''t going to be for you. The cartridge (specifically, the black) probably wouldn''t hold out too long, and the printer would end up costing you money. The cartridges aren''t cheap.

Now, the good news:

For those of us with light printing needs:

the ocassional picture

maps from a driving directions site

receipt from an online purchase

paper versions of your taxes

If those are your needs, this printer will serve you well. It''s very inexpensive, very quick, and has adequate color. And while the cartridges aren''t big, they are more than adequate for the kinds of tasks listed above. I''ve had mine for over a month and the black cartridge isn''t even 1/4 empty. If you''re a light user, and you don''t mind spending $20 every (I''m guessing) 6 months or so, this is probably a great printer for you.

On the other hand, if you''re an author who likes to print out his or her 500-page manuscript several times a month, you might want to look elsewhere for a printer that takes a larger cartridge.

Like the other poster said, 1 star is TOO GENEROUS.

I dont even know what it wants, I bought cheap paper at first coz I print useless stuff like lyrics and memos. SO i bought expensive paper and it still says paper jam. I want to cry right now. I just wasted 40 bucks on something I really wanna beat up with a hammer or run over w/ a truck. I am not sure if I can still return it and I am afraid of selling it.

Please dont buy it. It was a shame that I didnt check reviews prior to purchase, I really trusted HP.

This printer is not worth the cheap price. The ink doesnt last at all. I bought a brand new black ink cartridge to print a thesis paper and got 30 pages printed and the ink ran out. Also it kept crashing after printing 3 pages, just stopped and acted like the print job was done. So, I had to print it one page at a time. What a waste of money.

I researched this printer before buying it and the reviews said it was good for low volume printing and the output quality was good. It was purchased for my son to use at college for printing reports and papers.

Low volume is an understatement, the ink cartridges only hold 5 ml of ink and cost in the neighborhood of $15. The cartridges for my older HP932 printer hold about 19 ml and go for about $30.

Upon arrival, the sealed box contained no power cord. I had to call HP to have them send me one. To their credit, I will say that their support staff was friendly and helpful.

It also tends to jam all the time.

My son stopped trying to use it altogether.

I wouldn''t recommend it.

I regret buying this printer. I can only feed one page at a time to avoid paper jams, whether using recycled or new paper. I really don''t print that much and this is the most I''ve ever spent on ink. The print quality isn''t even that great. It was a waste of money.

Canon Selphy CP740 Compact Photo Printer (2094B001)

Canon Selphy CP740 Compact Photo Printer
  • Portable photo lab createsstunning photos from any location
  • Automatic red-eye detection and reduction
  • Print withoutcomputer by using built-in retractable USB cable
  • Prints feature protective overcoating that resists photo fading for 100 years
  • 1-year limited warranty

I have been VERY pleasantly surprised at the quality of the prints generated by the Selphy 740. I have another printer I use for larger (8x10) printing & photo''s but I wanted something that turned out native 4x6" prints for easy photo-albuming and spontaneous, on-the-spot giving to friends & family. (The lack of such traditional prints in this traditional form-factor is the great bane of digital photography, IMHO!)

The BEST thing about this printer is the "layered film" technology used to actually print the images. I was a bit worried when I received the printer and discovered that, rather than using ink cartridges, a spooled cassette of CMY-sequenced films are used. This mechanism always struck me as a bit wasteful but I honestly believe it DOES produce the best images, with virtually no pixelization visible in the print. There is also a FOURTH layer, which is clear, that is overlaid atop the 3 separately applied CMY layers. This clear layer gives a WONDERFUL "photographic print" feeling to the final product -I''ve always disliked how inkjet printers produce prints in which it is obvious (visually & tactilely) that the ink is simply sitting on top of the paper. The uppermost "clear layer" applied by the Selphy system results in a print that is virtually indistinguishable from one printed by a photo lab.

I''m not sure what to think about other reviewers criticism that the prints come out dark -I believe this is more a comment on the camera and/or monitor on which the images are created & viewed. I generally bump up the saturation and brightness "one click" in the printer''s properties dialog before I print a photo, but I do this same thing on all printers.

I concede that $0.26 per print is SLIGHTLY on the pricey side and that you can get less expensive prints at CostCo that (might?) look a BIT better, but I for one know that I am more than likely to never actually get such photo''s printed. Having this Selphy 740 printer at home, where it is easily & spontaneously available, and generating very good prints is a VERY worthwhile value to me.

Thumbs up!!

***UPDATE*** It''s 3 years later and I still use this printer and am still loving the results. Yeah, it prints dark but I just make it a standard practice to use the "printer properties" to bump up the brightness by 2 notches and bump up the contrast by 1 notch. I have become the local photomart for several of my friends & family. My thumb is still up!!

I needed a small photo printer basically to make some homemade personalized postcards, invitations and to make albums about my little kids. I was not looking for something to replace bulk orders of pictures from photo-processing centers (you cannot beat their prices anyway). I read reviews and found that printers with dye-sublimation technology produce pictures of high quality and the life-time of those pictures (around 100 years) is much higher than that of regular printers. Among many printers with this technology I found CP740. I decided that is right for me because its inexpensive (I paid about $80 including taxes and stuff), compact and I have a Canon camera, so it fits it. When I got the printer I was amazed how small it is. Yes, you need to put in the special cassete with paper before you start working, but when the printer is just sitting there, it doesn''t take more space than a small thick book. The quality of pictures is outstanding, and I can improve brightness and such stuff before I produce a picture (hundreds of times I''ve received completely dark pictures from photo centers God knows why I sent them normal images). I can make stickers (really nice for my daughter''s school appliances and for the envelops), make thank-you cards and postcards (my Mom just lo-oved her "happy birthday" card with faces of her grandkids) and small credit-card-sized pictures for scrapbooks. Of course, you need some additional software if you want to make whimsical cards, but there''s plenty for free download. And I actually like the fact, that the paper and the "cartridge" you need are always in the same package. The dye never dries out and you know that it''s enough to produce the same number of great pictures as there are pieces of photo-paper in the kit. I like this printer and I am happy with it.

My fiance got me this printer for my birthday and I love it! Printing photos is quick and easy whether you''re printing images off a computer, the camera or a memory card. The software install was fast and I was able to print one image in about 30 seconds or so. It is super compact which is a plus on my cluttered desk!

There are 2 reasons why I give it a 4 out of 5. First, the print images came out slightly darker than they appeared on the screen. Even when I lightened the images using Picassa/Photoshop, the prints still came out slightly darker than what I had anticipated. Secondly, due to the small size of the printer itself, you can only print images up to 4" wide.

Aside from that, this printer is fast, easy and produces great picture keepsakes.

This little printer is great, and I think it is pretty quick, considering the quality. Every time I walk into a Pharmacy that has one of those photo printers, it''s usually broken, and I can''t get the prints I want conveniently. This thing is good to have around for when you want some prints. While not shown in my video, the white edges are perforated, and come off of the print, leaving you with a traditional 4x6 size, with postcard markings on the reverse side. The unit also has a built in cord, if you''d rather connect directly to PictBridge or Direct Print compatible camera. It''s easiest to simply use a memory stick or SD card.

I got many good prints from this printer for the first year. As soon as the warrantee ran out the printer quit working. Cost of fixing exceeded the cost of the printer.

I have had 4 Canon printers over the past 10 years, only the oldest, a BJC-210 still works.
