I do feel the message was an error caused by the printer no recognizing that I replaced the cartridge. Unfortunately, an additional message was displayed on the printer indicatinig that usiing expired ink could nullify the warrenty. So, ALWAYS CHECK EXPIRATION DATE ON PACKAGING BEFORE OPENING

Works great as always. I found out the hard way that the ink in the package deals do not have as much in them as the individually packaged ones do, so I believe it is actually cheaper in the end to get the single packs.

I have a C7280 Photosmart printer and it utilizes 6 of these cartridges. While the print quality is incredible so is the price. I wish the cartridges were bigger and less expensive. It seems like an extraordinary waste of resources to pack such a tiny amount of ink into this package. It seems quite obvious that HP cares more about ridiculous profits than the environment.

Buyers BEWARE!! Hopefully you will read these reviews or pick up on the product description before you make the mistake of ordering this item the sale is NOT for an entire set of cartridges as the picture would imply, but for a SINGLE CYAN INK CARTRIDGE.

The item itself is fine a genuine HP 02 ink cartridge but you can buy the same thing for half the price almost anywhere else.

THIS PRODUCT PHOTO FALSELY IMPLIES THAT YOU WILL GET A FULL SET OF HP 02 INK CARTRIDGES. THE DESCRIPTION IS FOR ONE ONLY. THE PHOTO IS MISLEADING IF NOT DOWNRIGHT DECEPTIVE. DO NOT BE FOOLED!

Now that''s out of the way, I highly recommend the HP 02 color (and black) series inkjet cartridges. Unlike competitors designs, the print-head is built-in, so you get a new one every time you change the cartridge. Also, although the cartridges hold less than half the 13ml of ink you get with the new Canon "8" series, the ink used to clean is actually recycled back into the cartridge, so there is less waste.
